keypad is fully updated too btw
what firmware version exactly?
2.7.2 but it did it before this version aswell which is mostly why i remembered to update it
just 2.7.2 not beta or anything?
just the regular
i can provide a vid of me pressing the keypad tapping and what it puts out by just doing cxcxcx if that helps
cuz when i do it in this way it almost always gives a double c which is my right button on the keypad
ok i did some trying around with the settings and i have 1.2mm actuation and so far anything atleast under 1mm sensitivity seems to let it happen continuous or not (could be higher than 1mm but havent tested that it seems to happen so far atleast under 1mm)
could you try using the beta at https://beta.wootility.io
here is a vid using keyoverlay showing what happens with the keypress
just tested it with my x aswell tapping the same way and it also happens
idk if is something that has happened before or smth? ive never heard it from anyone though
just regular uwu keycaps
using the 60's switches but this issue hasnt been for that long
atleast i dont remember it being though it could be
here's how im tapping btw (entirely just cxcx cxcx)
really annoying issue btw, its not like i just happened to find out how to tap to make it happen, its mostly because i actually just tap like that in situations that i found out how to do it
literally every other post in the community support in the last 2 years. This issue always existed since the first 60HE and was already "fixed" multiple times
Could you link me to one where to fix it? i really cant seem to find it
@fringe folio Could you try using this tool: #1196768306602983494 message and show me a screenshot or recording of how the signal looks when you get the double tap issue?
i'll be heading to school in a moment so i will when i get home thanks
here you go @fleet wren
(these are all full presses and full releases)
its not a 1 key issue either it can happen to any of them if i try
if you need anything else such as settings i'll provide them when needed
Could you attempt to lower the RGB brightness down to 0% and see if this makes any change?
happens with the same frequency like above
have u tried testing on another pc
hasnt helped either
tachyon mode on or off also doesnt change anything
The last test I can think of, as this seems to be isolated to just one switch or hall sensor,
is to swap out the L-60 with one of the L45 switches that comes with the UwU, and take pictures of the sensor data like before.
Also, just to note that I have linked this Discord thread to the email you sent,
so you won't need to worry about troubleshooting for the same thing.
okay great thanks
alright testing with program on now since ive confirmed it works with the 45 already
somehow managed to get this many in a row
its on each key btw, not just one, just happened to not happen on the previous attempt of showing it but this new graph does show it also happening on the other key (third key also has it)
ahh thanks for clearing that up
also for the testing👍
np though its most frequent on the c button since thats the one i clicked the first time i really noticed it on making me even aware that it wasnt me being bad but some actual issue lol
I assume that with it only happening on the "C" key, this could be a hall sensor issue. But with the new picture, it seems to occur with multiple keys, which could indicate a power source issue introducing dips in power, causing issues. Any chance you can try:
- A different USB-C cable
- A different USB-C port
- one further away from the current location to avoid it sharing the same power rail
- the most ideal test would be on a different computer
i can try the one on top of my pc instead of the one coming from my mobo directly and also have a different cable nearby so will be doing those rn
thanks
different port no difference
same with a different cable
both cases still happens
Thanks for that. I will add some notes and a summary of Discord troubleshooting and pass this ticket for review.
thanks that'll be great
