That is certainly weird...
Did you try to turn off Tachyon mode if it's turned on? And does it happen only on this PC or on any you plug the keyboard to?

molten needle

Whats Tachyon mode?

vale isle

This is pretty odd behavior

Can you download the software "Wooting-Analog-monitor" and take screen shots of what the sensor sees

wooting-analog-monitor

If an error pops up stating that "Wooting-analog-sdk" is missing and needs to be installed, you can download the software here.
https://github.com/WootingKb/wooting-analog-sdk/releases

gow do i download exe

keen oriole

The Top link will download the "Wooting-Analog-Monitor"

once downloaded you should be able to click on it to run

If you are missing the "Wooting-analog-SDK" you can download it in the second link
For windows it would be the
-Wooting_analog_SDK-0.7.5-86_64.msi"

That would indicate that the "wooting_analog_sdk" is already installed

when you run the "Wooting-Analog-monitor" what error do you see?

molten needle
#

where can i run it

keen oriole

it would be this Software

Ah, drat.

What I was aiming to see is how the switch is detected on the sensor level, as the rapid activation of the switch is pretty odd behavior, which using the RGB effect like "RT-Display" may not capture the issue that well.

could you enable the "RT-Display" effect anyway and record a video of the keyboard

This will show when the switch activates (green) and when it is released (red).
You can enable this by following one of the Two methods below

Method one

  • importing the already created "RT-Display Test " profile into wootility
  1. Copy the Code: 947cf3a491b1b27dd1de6fc77da4ca11c136
  2. Click the "Import Profile" Button this can be found on the left side of wootility (marked by the arrow in the image)

Method Two:

  • To manually create or enable the effect, you can do the following:
  1. Select the "Color."
  2. Under Effect layers, add or change the current effect to "RT-Display."
  3. Set Base Brightness to 100%.
  4. For better visibility, I would recommend setting all the LEDs to "Black/Off."

So the main issue appears to be that the keyboard is not calibrating successfully, as the keys are not in the resting position and are in a constant "Pressed State" (shown in the image).

Upon reviewing the original videos, I noticed a significant data point (the monitor right next to the keyboard). In some cases of EMI or magnets, the keyboard will record an inaccurate resting position and will exhibit the problems you are experiencing.

Could you attempt the following and see if the local environment is the issue (possibly the screen)?

  • Unplug the keyboard
  • Hold the keyboard in the air away from the current location away from other eletronics
  • Plug it back in

and see if you experience the same issues?

😂
srry

Right below the keyboard?

molten needle
#

no

#

infront. like behind the small monitor

keen oriole

Ahhh, that would do it.

I had a really confusing case once where the culprit was a "Metal Desk" that seemed to be magnetized.
