I'm using wooting 60he.
Today, wooting was suddenly recognized by my PC, but it stopped responding.
Although it is connected to the PC, the lighting does not work and I cannot input anything.

To start, it's best to determine and check the state of the keyboard, as it may be in Restore mode or driver related.

To find out in Windows, you can use one of the two methods below:

  1. Device Manager

    • Right click on the "Start" button in the taskbar
    • Select "Device Manager"
      • Select View
        • Select View by container
  2. Bluetooth & devices

    • Click on the "Start" button in the taskbar
    • Type in "Settings"
      • Select Bluetooth & devices
        • Select "Devices"
          • It should be under the category "Other devices"

Please tell me if the device is listed; it may have one of the following names:

  • Wooting (Two He / 60HE / UwU)
  • Wooting Restore
  • Not listed

As it is in "Wooting Restore," it may mean that the firmware is corrupted or other factors, but for now, it's best to check if performing the "Restore" action in Wootility can restore the keyboard to a functional state.

(Please note that the front end of Wootility will not detect the keyboard in "Wooting Restore," but should be able to detect it in Settings > Troubleshooting.)

To perform a restore you can follow these steps

  1. Go to Wootility
  2. Select "Settings"
  3. Select "Troubleshooting"
  4. Select your "Device"
  5. Select your "layout"
  6. select "Reset Device"

Included Video Guide

If in the case that the restore fails or gets stuck on a certain step, could you mention what step it gets stuck at and answer the following questions below:

  1. Did the keyboard exhibit any odd behavior before, such as pressing random keys, and if so, was it localized to a segment of the keyboard (left, middle, right) or the entire keyboard?

  2. Have you performed any keyboard modifications like a case swap or any disassembling in the past?

If you run into any complicated issues or your Wooting keyboard is not responding, one of the first things you can give a shot is restoring your keyboard in the Wootility.
