When visiting wooting.io the website loads and I can see the website content for a moment. But, then the website disappears and the page is left blank. What causes this? It makes the website useless.

This is what shows up in the browser console

Hi, can I ask what region you're connecting from?

urban tree
#

Denmark

#

I see that it is language related. i18n

native crow
#

I've rolled back our website, can you confirm if it works now?

urban tree
#

Yeah it works now. And it asks for my region like before on my Windows install

native crow
#

By chance, can I know what browser you were using, if you have any extensions that block scripts, or if you block sites from accessing location?

urban tree
#

I tried both in Brave and Firefox. I tried disabling uBlock Origin in both browsers and Brave Shields in Brave. Nothing made a difference in regards to the page going blank.

#

But for configuring the Wooting 60HE I use Brave because Firefox does not support the device interaction.

What more can I help with? My browser should be pretty standard

#

I have strict privacy settings on though

native crow
#

but no worries, I'll have to tinker around a bit more

urban tree
#

Alright

urban tree
#

What is the website made with? React?

native crow
urban tree
#

Neat. I work with React too

native crow
#

I'm not sure how/why a small % of users see a blank page though. It's difficult for me to recreate

urban tree
#

Does the stack trace I sent provide anything useful?

#

Not sure if it maps to source code correctly

native crow
#

It helps in the sense that it's definitely because of the i18n, but since I can't replicate that error on my local, it's a bit hard to follow a stack trace that is... modified/masked? (forgot the term for this)

urban tree
#

Obfuscated?

native crow
#

yes

#

that

#

If you don't mind me asking, what is your system locale / browser languages?

urban tree
#

I think both are EN_US

#

On both my Windows and Linux install

#

I am fairly sure I had the same problem both on Linux and Windows

native crow
#

Would I be correct in assuming that the order of your accept-language header is in this order? specifically "en-US" is before "en"?

en-US,en;q=0.5

urban tree
#

en-US,en-GB;q=0.9,en;q=0.8,da;q=0.7

#

In Brave

#

Firefox: en-US,en;q=0.5

native crow
#

Hmm, this is very strange.

Thanks for answering my questions though. If I have a potential solution I may ask you again for testing, if you don't mind

urban tree
#

Alright. No problem!

native crow
# urban tree Alright. No problem!

Hey there, I've got a potential fixed build that I'd like you to test out. If you'd like to help please open a DM with me (can't dm you due to settings)
