<@&375234916776017933> I highly advise against shipping the Switch Plate in an envelope. A mailbox-box would be better suited so this (see images below) doesn’t happen.

The plate and pad look to be fine. The foam has a little tear in it on the side where it slots into the plate. Most likely happened when it bent too far and put too much stress on the foam. It’s not really a problem but I still might return it (when I have the time) if there’s something wrong with the plate.

I’m quite sure the damage didn’t happen during shipping but at delivery. My mailbox is quite shallow in depth so mail needs to be put in at an angle. Envelope often get pushed in straight which is harder to do for mailbox-boxes.
