LOL yeah cuz there's an active backplate that has a flow path too. It's a 3090 so there's VRAM chips on the back so they're cooled as well

Ah yeah they didn’t have the denser chips at the time and those were known fault points cause of HORRID heating by most back plates

I did. This is my fourth water cooled build actually. It's a bit scary but as long as you're careful and know what you're doing it's not actually that bad

That’s the problem, you don’t know what you’re doing until you’ve done it lol

It's very expensive tho lol. There are also many video guides for things like applying water blocks to GPUs etc. Once you find the exact components you need, I would look for other guides for how to use/install them properly. Just know that it's not necessarily a fast or easy process. Helps to be handy with a screwdriver and tweezers

3090 FE goes in the trash if you mess up

Actually disassembling the card is very easy. Just don't miss any screws and be at least kinda gentle
