60 HE not stable on my flat surface :(

I ❤️ what you guys have done but very dissapointed with my first 60 HE. The keyboard lifts in the opposite corners of key presses, see this video of me pressing the ESC key, and the far corner is rising up. Sadly it also happens with the WASD keys. If I press on the far corner, i.e. the fn key, that also causes the ESC key side to rise up 😦

Edit: I have tried on other surfaces and it has the same issue, my curreny keyboard is solid/no movement of this kind at all

*I have noted one of the yellow bumpers on the ESC key side may be very slightly indented too much which could be causing the unevenness?

just to check on the under side of the 60he has rubber feat
do you see all 4 on the bottom?

Yes it has all 4 feet, sorry i've just edited in to my comment to say that the rubber feet under the ESC key may be ever so slightly pressed in too far, I wonder if that is whats causing the unevenness :((

I shoul say when i suspected this was the issue I pressed firmly (but not too hard) on all 4 just to make sure they were properly seated

hard to say possible the feet installed have a height variance

It really sucks because I dont really have any kind of proper tool to remove the feet and theres no guarantee that when I refit the one under the ESC key that it wont go too far in again :((

I guess I will have to return this one? :/

I should say the feet under the backspace and the ctrl key work PERFECT, even if I press firmly on those keys the opposite corner does not lift !

if it is just the feet inserts
might be possible to request a replacement set from wooting rather than sending the entire keyboard back

a way to test
to use a piece of paper and move it under each side leg and see if flows under each leg

I've sent them a message via the website / official contact us section

The issue potentially could be with the cutout which the feet insert into though no? If thats the case then replacement feet will be unbalanced once again

I think they will just need to send a new one and test the feet this time, but I'll wait to see what they say, hopefully they have an easier solution

Hi guys. Anyone have more input on this? Wooting haven't gotten back to me just yet

wooting has a high volume to emails to go through so may take longer than the desired 1-3 buisness days to respond

but it is hard to say with out further testing or pictures to compare
(example)

• the keyboard laying flat on the table or a ruler to see if the ABS case has a Bend to it
• legs are differnt sizes/hight not sure how to test that
