Stabilizers Stuck

Hi all!

I finally got around to lubing all of my switches on my 60HE yesterday, did a case swap with the tofu 60 2.0 + did a POM plate swap. Unfortunately, after putting everything back together, my spacebar, shift & enter stabilizers are not working properly.

The best way I can describe them is that they’re jammed/stiff. I’ve taken them out multiple times & ensured that the rail was lined up and not bent.

This was also my first time modding a keyboard entirely. Thought I would reach out to ask if there’s any possible solutions for rehousing the stabilizers or maybe look into replacing them.

@mossy hill Some stabilizers can have the stem that the bar sits in rotated 180 and still fit together, but cause a "jam". Is it possible they are assembled like that? I did that with my spacebar on my current keyboard and it took me awhile to realize i had done it backwards 😅 either way worth checking out before buying new ones

Hopefully it helps! I think it's pretty hard to over lube them but you could always wash them out too and see if maybe that fixes it if the first idea doesn't work

@ashen fossil two of my stabs keep getting stuck when pressed down.

& I did break one of my space bar stabilizer legs

On the bright side you can always order some new ones... but that's super unfortunate 😕

I just used another stabilizer from my shift key & now my spacebar is good to go.

I also took out the stabilizers for my left shift & enter key. I’ll just order new stabs & go from there, just rlly wanted to finish my build 🙂
