also when i lift it up for let say 5 cm it makes a weird noise plus the spacebar is clicking it self then

just to check the space bar has 2 stabilizers Left-Right
is the spacebar connected to the stabilizers or are they falling out (lose)

fathom raptor
#

what exactly do you mean with that? like the metal bar?

vestal skiff
#

the plastic slot a that slides into the keycap
i am wondering if it is slotted into the MX Stem is not properly staying in the keycap to keep it stable

(sorry if a bit confusing i have little experience with troubleshooting when it comes to stabilizer)

#

could you record a video of the spacebar in use
it can help showcase the extend of the wobble or how stable it is

fathom raptor
#

idk theres even a weird lquid

#

like on the black parts is the liquid

vestal skiff
#

the liquid's is meant to be there it is
EM-50L stabilizer wire grease
meant to get lower of the rattle / dampened the sound

fathom raptor
#

ohhh wheres that metal thing from the stabilizer?

vestal skiff
#

it would be below the stabilizer
the metal Wire it is designed so when one goes down the other goes down with it
so it keeps the keyboard stable (removes Tilting)

#

yet the switch of the spacebar is still wobbling around i can take a video comparing

vestal skiff
#

the Wobble on the switch seems a bit high
(no expect on that)
but how is it with the keycap on
can you showcase with a video?

fathom raptor
#

alright hold on

#

i mean the space feels fine but as i mentioned the space makes a little weird sound which didnt happen before and it presses itself which didnt happen before

best i can recommend at the moment is to switch out the Space bar Switch with the
2 Spare Lekker switch that comes with the 60HE

and test if that helps

i know there has been a few reports of the spacebar wobbling
but the degree that your one seem higher than normal

fathom raptor
#

i already switched out the switch (both)

vestal skiff
#

ohh sorry i assumed when you said [putting it out and back in] was reference to the Sparebar keycap

fathom raptor
#

my fault shouldve mentioned it 😅

#

i could take a picture of the board only like i could built it out rq?

vestal skiff
#

this is just a theory on my side
but i assume the Steel Switch plate that the Lekker switch's is resting in may of been bent slightly from use causing a loose fitting for the switch and that is causing the wobble as you have tested other switch's
as the spacebar has the most leverage

witch a replacement top plate could be the solution/fix

keep in mind that is a theory

fathom raptor
#

you mean like the white plate? i got the keyboard like 4 days ago

#

let me provide you a pic from the back site out of the plastic cover

vestal skiff
#

yes the white "SGCC steel switch plate"

fathom raptor
#

even like that the switch is wobbling easily

vestal skiff
#

i not seeing anything that is standing out of the ordinary but it would be hard to spot as this would be very tight tolerance

and any fix would doing a temporality fix

but i believe the best cause of action would be to email wooting at
social@wooting.io
you can post this discord chat by copying this link #1145777066311172136 message
and can also give them this summary to help speed up the process

model: Wooting 60he
Problem: the spacebar Lekker Switch has a High degree of wobble (in the discord There is posted Videos)
Timeline: had the keyboard for 4 days on the 4th the problem occurred
Attempted:
> switching out the lekker switch with the 2 spares (same wobble)

Notes
>the switch is very easy to remove
>woothelp(volunteer) untamedx2 notes possible damage or bad tolerance on the switch plate but unsure

#

Can you check if the clips on the switches that hold onto the plate are damaged.
Send a email to wooting for better help.

#

Same thing happened to me when i slightly damaged them

vestal skiff
#

that would be theses clips
but they have tested the other two switch's i would assume they all would not be broken
