It kinda works, the main thing is that the connector end is too thick. So to connect it to the 2HE, it ends up being in at a bit of an angle which could potentially damage the port/keyboard. You would have to use the feet on the 2HE as otherwise the cable will prop it up.

We don't want to risk it, so that's why the line is that it's not compatible

Re: 2HE cases, I mentioned in this thread before that we currently don't have any plans for alu or any other case for the 2HE.

The main tricky thing is that the 2HE is somewhat a legacy design and if we start making cases for it we're effectively choosing the screw points/mounting system it uses to be our 'standard' for full-size. With the 60HE, it was a lot easier as it's the layout with the most standardised mounting. However, there aren't really any primary standards for any other layout, especially full-size. So we have to be a lot more careful with what we do with it.

Although, there is a lot of talk about 2HE cases, so I'll bring that to the table internally and see what direction we can go in for it :)

I appreciate the responses. Disappointing, but an explanation makes the disappointment a little more bearable.

Also, I have genuinely considered getting a Wooting 2HE case CNC milled because I like my keyboard so much. You guys have the files available AFAIK, so it wouldn't be impossible, just very expensive.

ALSO ALSO, I'm a little surprised that there isn't a proper industry standard for high quality fullsize keyboards by now. I'm guessing that it's due to the sheer amount of competition behind the more traditional "gamer brandz" like Steelseries, Razer, etc. that agreeing upon anything like that would be a nightmare.
