try the following to check if it is a bad calibration
-Unplug the keyboard
-replug the keyboard
-leave alone for 5 secs
can use
https://config.qmk.fm/#/test
to see what keys are not responding
alright, i'll give that a try
still unable to type in windows
using onscreen for everything right now lol
cf60fbb7d925d93c7394968af18a18aa35f6 profile code
so looking at that image
Menu on the Image is not meant to be litten up as it by default a FN Key And FN wont send signal to OS that it is press so that working as intented
but for the Enter key/Numpad enter they are not working either
can you link me your profile code
my "menu" key is bound as fn
menu is not a keyboard only key
ok trying out the profile no problems
-could you try and press [ +create profile] left side of wootility
-then drag/drop to D1 or the top most profile
-Hit save
-type on that to test
we can try a reflash
before you start i would recommend duplicate your profiles as it will wipe onboard profiles incase you want to revert back to them
Steps to reflash
Go to
-Settings
-Troubleshoot
-Follow instructions
so, i managed to get my taskbar open, look at the active programs. filter keys was turned on, idk when or why. but i noticed after the flash.
when i flashed. the keyboard still didnt work. so i guess the lesson here is to check to see if filter keys is turned on.. 🙃
never considered software to disable the Enter Key seen it with the Function row keys and Window / and some navigation keys
right?
is this a default for the software or did you set it ?
im assuming somehow it was enabled but i dont even know the keybind for it. unless the recent update caused my sticky keys to re-enable
there wasnt even any beeps so that really threw me off
well problem is now resolved
