Hello. I hope its okay that i dont actually have a Wooting keyboard, i was hoping to get help regarding my keyboard in this community.
I am experiencing extreme keyboard input delay/lag when ever im running more than one application on my computer. I dont know if the problem comes from the keyboard itself or from my computer. Im unable to type, game, or do anything with my keyboard while having a website open on my second monitor, or spotify running in the background. It takes up to 5 seconds to respond to my inputs!
I found a fix that lasts for like, 5 seconds. The standart troubleshooting option for my keyboard in the windows settings helps to fix this for a short period of time.
Does anyone know a permanent fix? I can provide more info if needed. Thank you in advance

what method are you using to fix it for 5 secs ?
from the sounds like not a keyboard problem but an issue with the OS
have you restarted computer recently ?
I go into the regular windows settings, system, troubleshooting, more options for troubleshooting, and then keyboard. I hope im using the right terms since its german. And i do on a pretty much regular basis. this problem has been a thing for months now and ive gotten sick of it
from my understanding you are using the
inbuilt windows
troubleshooter to run trouble shooter for keyboard
that fixes it but only for a moment
have you tried any of these methods
https://www.minitool.com/news/windows-10-keyboard-lag.html
let me read through that rq
im going to try to run DISM, i havent done that yet
i just finished all these steps, and sadly nothing changed
just going through the support history over similar problems
one example from the recent past

and looking for ways to figure out the cause
i will look into that
my "kernel time" seems to be higher than my cpu utilization. i dont really know what that means now lol
yea i am kinda lost myself
sorry not much help
only thing i can think of is
-
testing another keyboard incase the keyboard drivers or something related to just that keyboard to os
-
running windows in safe mode to see if some software is causing the issue (safe mode disable all none windows and runs in bare bones
-
a recording of the delay could be helpful with trouble shooting for others
https://config.qmk.fm/#/test
just so they can see the delay
i do hope others can help resolve your problem
i have already tested other keyboards just now, and its the same for evey keyboard ive used. I will try safe mode in a minute and ill record my delay really quick
one very quick tap on my W key results in 80-110 ms
Reinstalling windows will probably do the trick.
wouldnt that reset all my stuff?
I believe u can choose to keep all apps
really? i will look into it. thanks for the info
