#Problem: DKS activating before reaching 3.6mm

Hi, so i recently used the DKS feature with the Touch Display to see how much force i have to apply to activate the 3.6mm threshold.

The thing is, when the touch lights up to number 0 (which is not the highest 3.6 mm force value), the DKS activates itself.

I'm using the beta wootility.
Here is my profile code for testing: 840d473c914af19c93ce813bb6840d4484ec

Can someone test if the same thing happen to them ?

Is like i don't have to bottom the key to 3.6mm for it to activate, which messes up my DKS profile.

Mods i have done:
Switched to aluminium case + wooting light springs + lubed them. Here is the proof using a keyboard overlay:

The W doesn't get fully pressed and still DKS activates itself.

This problem also happens to appear in another wooting60 HE unmodded with original case and no modding at all.

Any ideas why? @native marsh

I'm confused, the whole range of the switch is 4mm, so when it's defined to activate at 3.6mm it seems to be behaving as intended?

the UI also states 3.6mm

I guess they mean to say it is registered as fully pressed before the 3.6mm?

i think they thought the travel is just 3.6mm not 4

Not currently, but it's on the list to be customisable for at least the ARM boards. AVR boards TBC
