Update, tried to do Nuclear reset using Wootility Troubleshoot, never recognized by software.
i mean the cable in the box should work itself. what OS are we talking about
Yes, it should work. Getting nothing anywhere though. Standard Windows 10 PC.
what wootility version
Just downloaded today, 4.4.13
Tried a different USB port?
Last thing to check would be to pop out the module and see if there's any visible damage to the PCBA

Can follow this guide for how to open it up, and take (high res) pictures of the PCBA top and bottom so that we can do some root cause analysis
The 60HE Module is compatible with any universal 60% case that followed the GH60 standards. This is how to safely swap it out for a 3rd party case.

Yeah tried a different port, and a whole different computer. Will check the PCB as shown above later today.
Got another USB cable you can try for a quick comparison?
Just to see if it comes alive at all.
Yeah tried that first. No signs of life with either PC, and the USB cable provided or known good cables.
Oh my bad - You mentioned it in the first post. Discord scrolled me down.
Hmm... You wouldn't happen to have a Philips size PH0 screwdriver handy to do some photography on the PCB by any chance? It won't negatively affect your warranty, but it can speed up our troubleshooting (This is all stuff I'd ask by email, so just cutting some corners here)
Scrolled you down but not down far enough to read that I had already requested that

Yeah, I have a screwdriver kit, and will get to it later today. Lol no worries.
@buoyant totem Below are photos I just took. Everything looks normal to me, except for around the USB connector. There's corrosion buildup on it.
Third picture clearest
Is that... corrosion slightly green or bluish? Or is it just the camera?
Oh yikes.
It's greenish / bluish, not the camera
Did the packaging the board came in have any tears? Almost looks like liquid seeped in during shipping and hurt the USB connector (ironically one of the few spots on the PCBA that isn't mostly liquid proof)
Yeah, looks like liquid damage to me too, but the packaging was perfect. The box is completely clean, and there's no other circuits that appear this way. Just the USB, and the 2 LED components on either side of it.
Hmmm... that's worrying. Because that would indicate there might be an issue at the factory they didn't catch. Lemme take a look at this on Monday and get you sorted with a replacement solution. Then we (wooting) will deal with the broader concerns on our end. Thanks for the assistance 🙂
No problem, just let me know when you figure out next steps. If there's anything else you need me to look at, please let me know. Happy to help (but disappointed my board didn't work)
Will do!
Any update today Mansen?
Collecting everything as we speak for RMA. Then I'll shoot you an email 🙂
Thanks!
