same here about metalic sound my keyboard come not lubed or really low amount of lube on switch.after lubing switch it's day and night and now keys sounds nice.about the the top and bottom not flush maybe the screws are not enough screwed or too much screwed
I vaguely recall the Lekker Edition having a slight bend in the top plate that couldn't be resolved. But you should be able to screw it together just fine.
oh okay
what lube would you recommend?
maybe the lube on the wooting's website you have one for switch and one for stabilizers.for my keyboard i use old lube i have for mly precedent keyboard but i think the wooting's website is better
sounds good thanks!
np if i can help
The lubing got improved for the W60HE, meaning on the older keyboard that was not done at all or as good.
No grease on the stabs, just the normal lube was used there I guess. The lube was overall kind of thick and not that suitable for the switches. It left a circle of lube on the PCB. For the W2 HE they changed the lube to a much thinner one but that spread out on the edges of the top plate. Now they use a different lube and method to apply it as far as I know.

ohhh I see very interesting
Sorry for the late response
https://next.wooting.io/product/wooting-switch-lubricant-lube-set, would this lube be good?
These are offered to improve the lube job and for maintenance later on. So I guess they are recommended by Wooting.
I haven't tested them but I'm also not familiar with other lubes anyway.
