Obligatory sales pitch.
Always wondered how you can lubricate your lekker switches or grease your stabilizer wire. In this video, we will deep dive on different methods of lubing and some general tips and tricks. Using the Wooting 60HE.

Do I lose my warranty if i lube it myself?
On the switch itself? Yes. But we sell spares as needed.
On the keyboard itself? No.
We have a very simple "You break it, you pay for spareparts" approach to it. We encourage modding - just be safe and ask for help before doing anything wild. 🙂
If you lube all your switches and the board begins having an issue that's caused by the PCB, then you're still covered.
im close to shipping and i want to add the wooting lubricant tools and im wondering if i should add the lubricant
You'll need lube from somewhere if you're thinking of swapping out springs at least. 🙂
i need to switch springs? idk im new into lubing ive never done it before and i was wondering if its necessary or not
and if my warranty still applies to it i just want to be sure my keyboard will still work perfect
so if i should lube i need to switch springs aswell i ordered in september the 60HE ARM linear 60 and i dont lose any warranty
Let's start from the basics.
Your keyboard switches come pre-lubed from the factory. But redoing it yourself by hand is noticeably better - just a question of time and effort comparison really.
You can change the springs in each switch to a slightly lighter spring (sold on our store in loose bags), and if you do so, you'll need to lube those at any rate.
Should you lube? That's up to you.
Should you swap springs? Also very subjective. You can always revisit this question down the road. 🙂
Awesome explaination thank you
