I could push it down to plug in the cable, but it bounces up so I feel as though it would be putting more strain on the port, I think it would fit if I was just using the foam and not the bottom plastic though

You can also try out taking foam out and using things like polyfill for example

When I had mine in holy60 i just put is same as yours though, it doesn’t have to be some perfect fit for the hole exactly

it’s just very loosely done in and all that’s compacting is foam

Unless it’s heavy tension it doesn’t matter honestly

It’s only if you’re really shoving it down and forcing it down with lots of force that it’s a problem

But I have one v2 with silicone feet on that’s just plugged in fine by compressing foam a tad

if I was really worried I could just remove foam or swap for polyfill though
