I did a bit, some of it is the tikkens have an interesting sound profile and can be muted/clacky it alternates for me. I think steel contributes to alot of the dullness. Poron pad might be worth looking into as well

70-85% of your issue im pretty confident in changing your plate will make you happier

In my opinion whenever I hear the difference between friction fit and screw-in, friction fit removes SO much of the chatter and other noise that is happening. since sno tests it everything on the same setup i would take a look at how TTC Helios/POM sound on his sound test instead of referencing different sound tests as sound tests have alot of variance between what you hear and what you're going to get irl

Both sets are going to have similar quality probably (if it was made by a craftsman, there would be noticeable differences). Honestly, if you want good quality, you’re going to have to make compromises from cherry profile, double shot PBT shine thru to either what’s on Wooting store or abandon shine thru for something else.

They look like any other keycaps you’d find off Amazon and will have similar quality as other sets found at that price point

it kind of depends on how you use it. The negative of wristrest is IF you push down with your wrist it's bad, but it's also something you shouldn't be doing

that's why there's always the "yeah but wristrests are bad because of this issue here" videos, but it's just about how you use it

if you use wristrest correctly then yes it's beneficial, if you don't then it's not. So the takeaway is don't push downwards into the wristrest and you benefit from a better typing angle

^^ this, as shown in the thumbnail of that video on the left side, he has his wrist flat against the desk with no wrist rest, you're actually supposed to float your wrist when typing without a wrist rest like that and as Sno said, when using a wrist rest, not to push down into it but rather literally rest your wrist on it as the name implies.
