i do think the one setting that is noticable is true 0.1 vs. 0.1 + some deadzone

but that's a very specific niche scenario where you're someone using 0.1 settings and very stable switches to begin with

and not always beneficial since not everyone controls 0.1 with zero deadzone as consistently as 0.1 + deadzone

it's why something like 0.3 is more normal for folks using 0 deadzone keyboards

yeah I noticed that when I switched from wooting to venom is that RT is technically faster, but I only ever noticed that in wow which has very linear and non restricted by inertia movement

I think it was the absence of deadzone, but for most real uses I think you even need some deadzone or at least lower sensitivity to avoid doing unintended inputs

i do think non walled stem switches on average are better as a stock setting for customers since they sound/feel better, at least unless someone releases a super stable walled stem switch that is also top tier sounding and feeling

Not so much anticipation but sequencing of actions is what I find criminally understated in most, if not all blogs with latency as the topic.

When pressing simultaneously, the latency between fingers (on the same hand) and then the latency between hands seems to be (from my experience) incredibly close together. Usain Bolt was somewhat of a bad example, a ball sport like table tennis or something would be more similar to gaming. I think the most important part is for your keyboard and mouse to differ very little in latency and that’d affect sequencing actions the most (though people probably tank some of that latency when “adjusting” to their new mouse or keyboard).

either way even if it's just around the whole owlab ti he/ur ice etc level of wobble i think it'll be nice entry to the budget options

in korea at least the v2 raptors are very cheap

like $25 for a set of 90 iirc
