Silicone rather than rubber‼️ That difference weighs quite heavy to some. When I asked about Raeds, if their sound profile is close enough to Topre that they could be considered thocky; someone said not really because the thud a rubber dome gives at bottom out is a bit deeper than that of silicone. Raeds are akin to Niz and slightly less to Topre (until we get rubber domes). Though, Niz is considered thocky by some still. 🤷‍♂️

hi, I’ve had my 60HE for more than a year now, I love it in base form, but the caps collect too much dust and form a layer. I have to clean it very often. I was wondering if there are different caps material I could use that wouldn’t collect as much dust and oil/sweat from fingers.

Kinda sounds like you just need to clean your caps which is quite easy. Put them in a large bowl with warm soapy water for a bit, then gently wipe/scrub the tops to remove excess dirt buildup.

In the GT80 box they send you black screws which is what I used to seat my Wooting DB

Unless you bought it via 3rd party and not KBD directly, I find it hard to believe they didn’t send you screws in a small plastic bag bc mine came with it

Just want to make sure I’m doing this right.

seems correct. easier to do it is disassemble the plate from the pcb, then push the switch from behind the plate. this will prevent switch from getting damaged.

Alright. I’m currently trying to insert theJST cable. However, it literally just won’t budge. The cable is resistant to bending and when I try to insert the JST cable it fits inside the hole, but falls out after. I’ve tried pushing it with my nails too.

needs a bit of force, but much easier than using switch puller that can damage your switch.

use a cloth, place them behind the switch, then push. < this is what i usually do. so I can apply a bit more force without hurting my hands
