Iām guessing itās that
at least with the last few leaks..*
in a reasonable timeframe.*
Just get a DAC and you will have your own knob
Well Calder did talk about it before on livestreams
now they seem to deny the existence of it
Oh I meant Calder talked about why they donāt mention stuff leaking early
Discord also blew up massively with way more zoomers too
So itās not really the intimate experience where Calder just pops in to chat as much
Looking at it, the last Calder discord post was end of January
Theyāve been denying it even when Calder was confirming it though - which I donāt really mind since if youāre a wooting employee itās probably safe to deny if you donāt know whatās been leaked yet
what if it doesnāt exist š
eh, some yeah. most from woot team confirmed it though iirc
like mans
They said roughly around computex time theyāll have more big project stuff to share
So hopefully we see something interesting then for what wooting might have coming this year
the video they posted was basically a nothing burger
Am I crazy or is it kinda difficult to pull the lekker switches out haha, holding both clips and wiggling and they donāt budge
Yes, its pretty difficult to pull lekkers. I would recommend disassembling the keyboard completely and then just push switches from the plate
Thank you, sadly it took me damaging the housing in a few before I realised ):
Whats a good website for Keycaps?(US) I just ordered my first wooting two HE š¤
ahhh I forgot about this
š«¦
L wire
these were included with the board
got lazy to find some other stabs so I used these and tuned them well
btw I managed install switches without taking apart the oring hehe
brooo this is so weird typing on this
lmao
What is this build ?
but it's actually quiet af, with lubing would be even more insane, would probably remove some scratch
does it feel as unnerving as it sounds
its like a combination of you're scratching a leaf or fabric and i cant decide what
while simultaneously being neither
This mx ?
yeah, silent tactiles
lego ahh sound
Oh i see
I bent a pin on 1 switch and replaced, thankfully other switches work lol
nahh this is something else
feels like witchcraft
like it's sucking my soul out
a small price to pay
my clack maxxing brain can't comprehend such quietness
also TIL, my sister taken quite a liking towards low profile... Tiger lite def not low profile. Idk what to do with the board if she doesn't like it.
does she want HE?
could get her a nuphy or smth
Probably not
Guess I can just make it my secondary board, if I like 7u spacebar
are the POMs actually worth it over the new lekkers?
Yeah give me more layout support, I could care less about 2048k polling rates
I know things
But I canāt say things
Cause things
POMs are the current leader of stability (bc of boxstem), but duhuks are the newer kings of price to performance so if you donāt want to spend too much Iād look at those or even raws should be a decent upgrade over the lekker V2s
don't mind the price, just lazy
but would there be a reason to get the regular wooting pom over the geon ones?
Wooting POMs are the same as the TTC ones, but all white and have a heavier spring compared to OGs
But they will require a decent lube job
pain, but thx for the answers
Do the duhuk have a similar lube job as RAWs or is the RAWs still industry standard for factory lube
Duhuks are similar to RAWs lube job in the sense that I think they have good factory lube and donāt need additional lubing besides the springs and maybe spreading around the lube that is already applied
it says on the wooting site that these swtiches are lubed, is it just bad?
Itās only on the bottom
So TTC switches notoriously have a bad lube job (thereās only 3 drops of lube on bottom housing)
Not to the point it matters
treat them as unlubed
the geon raws also have this issue?
No
Nope, great lube job
No
RAWs have one of the best stock factory lube jobs that donāt require much attention outside of maybe doing the springs if you really want to
To me raw and duhuk springs are pingy/crunchy so Iād lube them personally
Feel the same about Jade Pros too
Tbh the TTC springs are some of the better ones Iāve used, I donāt even think I lubed them
Damn
too casual for lubing š , gonna get the geon raws though, again thx for all the help
Sounds good, youāll be happy I think
Also consider duhuks
RAWs will still be a good experience
Speaking of springs
Apparently next month starts GT80 shipping cam š«¦
which ones are those?
don't know where to look outside the wooting store
They took too long. Ima have something cooler by then
Me with white zinc š¤£
Granted I only dropped by last month so maybe Iāll get your copy
Aliexpress
Beon bingless bringles
could go for a pringles rn
What kind š
had texas bbq recently
Flexing that white zinc š¦¾
Yeah my favorite back in the day was the sour cream and onion/BBQ
Hey guys, I'm about to start my first custom build with the wooting 80he (zinc case/geon raw switches) and I have a few questions if anyone can help me with those
-What kind of stabilizers are suitable for the 80he board if I choose to replace them? (screw-in, plate, long poles or not?)
-Do I need to add some extra foam in the case to get a muted/muffled sound profile or is the provided foam + tape mod sufficient enough?
-And lastly, are switch pads doing anything or even compatible with the 80 board with the geons (like the ones from KBDFans or Maxgaming)?
is there anything else I should know regarding keyboard modding and the lubing process?
- for raws or any other short travel switch you should look into long pole stabs or stem spacers to prevent see-sawing, geom sells stem spacers and pcb mount stabs like knight v3 are a good option
- you can always add more foam to tune acoustics, tape mod doesnt necessarily make boards quieter and can actually have an inverse effect
- dont use switch pads unless youre okay with worsening the accuracy of the board as it displaces the switches
-
Wooting80HE uses PCB Mount Stablizers, so Screw-Ins or Clip-Ins, you don't need long pole unless using short travel switches ~3.5mm, however, you still may not need long pole, as keycap wobble is not exactly a common issue. The stock stabilizers are also fine, just lube and tune them if needed.
-
No, you don't need extra foam but there are 3rd party foam kits online.
-
Don't use switch pads, they can mess with actuations and don't really do much for sound.
Thoughts

Haven't installed them yet but ima try them unlubed and see if Geon is a liar
pls lmk how it goes

my ali order on the duhuks taking so long to arrive š
Oooof
How long?
i ordered on saturday and they still have not left the country
Damn
my duhawks are a couple of cities away
My duhuk is a couple time zones away
Still in china
š
Duhawk tuahs
Clack on that thang
the agent is currently playing with it as we speak
Thanks for the swift response, I'll definitely not use switch pads then.
I'm okay with getting my own foam from a hardware store if it comes to that, is something like this decent enough or did I get it wrong?
My keycaps are cherry profile GMK Sumi clones from aliexpress, I'll be using geon raws I'm wondering if a new set of stabs is in order for the smoothest experience since you've said anything ~3.5mm and Geon RAWs are 3.4mm travel distance iirc.
Yeah that foam should be fine, you may need to make cutouts in it for certain components like USB port, as far as Stablizers go, I'd keep using the stock 80HE stabs and just lube and tune them if needed, and install your RAWs once you get them and see if you have any issues like keycap wobble/see-sawing, if you do, you can get Geon Stem Spacers or long pole stablizers
Thanks!
are TX AP stabs also an decent option, i'm ordering a bunch of stuff from maxgaming so i'm planning to grab stabs from there
Yeah TX AP are decent
I don't really know which ones to get though, i'm kinda lost with all the references on the site šµāš«
for what 60he?
Oh 80he
nah ion like em
fussy stabs
80he
I personally like Swagkeys Knights stabs, TX AP can have issues sometimes, esp with smaller plate cutouts for stabs, but 80HE plate was made to accommodate that
dont get tx
durock screw ins, Wuque studios screw-ins? what are you suggesting š ?
Wuque stupid stabs ok
Durock v3 ok
Knights clear both
Knights and YIKB
Not an option for me unfortunately, cba paying separate shipping (20$ no less..) for a first modding experience so I guess either the Wuque or the Durock v3 will do
Stabilizers can arguably make or break a keyboard and you want to know what the best ones are. I mean, who wouldnāt want the best for their keyboard, right? The problem is that there are so many different stabilizers to choose from. How do you choose the best ones? Well, let me give you my personal tier list of what I think the best stabilizers ...
You can also refer to this list for other stabilizer options
damn that's clean with that plate
Thanks a lot š
What wuque
Only consider their stupid stabs because those are paigu recolors
the rest kinda suck and are overpriced
Durock v3 are jwk adaptive molds and do the job fine
curious what you will think
So far so good, watching some Bob Proctor instead of KDrama tho
jwk?
Wuque are these ones
Kinda wanted to stream but idk how many people wanna hear Bob Proctor speak lol
any idea when they gonna release it?
no clue
or the stupid ones but they don't seem to be screw-in š¤
funny you say that, i checked your stream when i saw you mentioned that you were working on it
They're clip-ins
work the same as screw ins but without a screw
still PCB mount
anyone here tried DT60?
not good/overpriced
Clip-ins
does clip in work well with gummy oring mount, maybe a stupud question :3
yes
Its why people choose clip ins over screwins
they work for o-ring
yes it is a stupid question? hehe thanks
There are no such thing as stupid questions
only stupid people
But yes clip-ins are nice
I like them
And homeless drunks too
that too
i think there is stupid questions, but it is okay to have stupid questions. like you shouldn't shame on fat people but fat people should be ashamed.

Is there a way so set a different key travel depth, in case you use other switches?
per key? yeah
Theyāre not ashamed, they sue airlines for not being accommodating enough
What i mean is, for example the TTC Switches have a travel distance of 3,4mm compared to 4,0mm for the Lekker switches. The Rapid Trigger Range is still set to 4,0mm, can you adjust that aswell?
Yeah
the range is cope, think of it more like a percentage.
Yeah it's not exactly 4.0mm think of it as 0-100%
The board will calibrate and detect the range the switch can travel on it's own
i read it calibrates automatically and it also works for the full range, so i already thought it might be that way
oke
does tightness of a switch benefit smoothness? i just swapped from raw to duhuk and i feel like i bottom up duhuk instantly.
Yes
so it's either those or the durock ones (overpriced as well)
so glad i tried duhuk, to experience the smoothness and tightness without throwing in 60+ dolla
Yeah Tightness/Stability help with smoothness and cleaner sound
do u have amazon
And youve looked at the vendors list?
my brain has been trained to recognize this web layout to be synonymous with 50 us dollar shipping
i dont even remember what the name of the store is
i'm from the EU, i'm ordering a lot of stuff from this site so I might as well get the stabs from maxgaming
yes, didn't find any
Vendors list
Vendors
List
oof that finna be a while
@stone flax mj, for yikb should i lube the stem?
we are all waiting for geon to push out more stuff
i did. iirc it has pretty big gap between housing and the stem so lube would help i think.
ah ok, cus i read alexotos' thingy and read to lube the housing, didnt mention stem anywhere
The big gaps on purpose to minimize contact
make sense
praying my geon springs get here quicker
the spring ping is getting worst
IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!
reminds me of the guy who creamed on his board...
mr cam is working on his rn i think.
yeh he is
better be good
i mean im gonna lube em anyways

waterproof or water resistant?

surprised there is only 12 search results for DT60 in this discord
it looks fun, gasket or top mount
thought most ppl would mess around with it
Yay
All bc of me
just went throught the whole list, didn't find any EU vendors with the knights in stock that would ship them to my country
so..like I said either the Durock v3 or the WS V3.1 from Wuque are my only 2 viable options with reasonable shipping costs
Brudda rivions built his venom :3
Durock
Stabs are stabs
Get lube
link
I aint watching that so I left the page already
blud has a 6.25 unit spacebar on the 7 unit pcb
Mathewās came in early baby Les go
Yessir š«”
grabbed the wooting lube kit with my 80he
I know of a better keyboard, he's late, called the CAM60HE
do it thock
what build
"gee" "on" HE Raw he says

nah Rivions
Ahh i meant rivions built boardzyās venom xd
unikorn alu plate duhuks
Actually
Its cf now

ohh ic, that's cool
Roger that š«”
is 2mm fine or should I get 3mm for the foam? i'll probably try a tape mod as well
2 or 3 is fine
alr ig i have to watch a boardzy's video to check out the build lol
what was that sound testš
thats rivs
hipyo shorts ass sound test
š
talking abt the guy himself, not the build

Last question: 9x23x0.3cm what does those dimensions equate to? like it is enough to cover the 80he case real estate or should I get the full size and make cutouts like you mentioned before?
Keykobo Bloom Keycaps is part of Sensitive Work's flower series keycaps with inspiration from blossoming magnolia. Novelties are included in the base kit with optional accent kits such as the OG numbers for an number alert row or relegendables. Inspiration: Bloom is inspired by the blossoming magnolia. The color scheme
Couple cool sets
the case you mean mb.
a bit expensive i feel but i fck with the deskmat
hey all! new to the wooting fam, got everything coming in tomorrow to put together but was curious on getting different keycaps, I am not sure if I can just buy any keycaps or if there are specific specs for this board.
Yeah thatās neat
Cherry mx standard
i love u ty ā¤ļø
the graveshift o rings work w/screw ins!
I'm using it rn
this video is so unserious its funny
he has no clue what hes using cause someone else built the board for him
probably never seen the savl's leafsprings with his own eyes
(this is not a slam)
its just unserious
yeah I mean he mostly makes mice videos, but he could at least type on the keyboard for 5 seconds...
yeah his mouse vids are good
What lightweight gaming mice are y'all rockin?>
Beastx pro
beastx pro currently
china!
viper v3 pro is benched (for now)
Jinx buy me the new purple
i just copped a hitscan hyperlight and it's otw, never really looked into mice that much tho. been using logitech gpx2
Always got room to try magnesium
what's that?
Oh I wanted that mouse but then decided to get beastx pro because of magnesium
mouse prices have gone down recently and its nice to see
flagships went from 170 usd to 100
what is this magnesium y'all talkin bout
Beastx pro is magnesium mouse
GREAT time to be into mouse
There are other magnesium mice, but so far WLmouse has had the best QC from mice Iāve tried
oh is it just the build material?
Ye
interesting, i assume it's that skeletal vibe right
me when i try to make my own magnesium mouse and get blown to smitherines (magnesium is highly reactive)
i liked my logitch gpx2 but the fucking scroll wheel would scroll 1 notch on its own lol

Left is Beastx pro
ooo i see, idk if i'd enjoy that, but i haven't tried it so who knows
Beastx talk??
Thereās also a solid side option too
They have solid side options as well if that's your concern
The holes arenāt noticeable as someone that didnāt think theyād like it too
During use
love how night spawns out of nowhere when beastx gets mentioned
Truly the beastx ambassador
i see, might be a silly q, but does the solid side version weigh more? my intuition tells me yes lol
that guy reacted so fast does he have a macro scannning the cord for mentions of beastx
3-5g more prob
wtf
I have like 450 messages with beastx in it
42g solid sides
So it would be low 40gs instead of 39g
The clicks make it worth it imo
you must have a macro that scans servers for the beastx keyword how did you arrive so fast

I'm refusing to go down another rabbit hole for the sake of my wallet... thankfully all the mice i've gotten have been mostly comp'd from my job
shoutout gaming industry lol
they did not comp my wooting but i can't complain LOL
(I'm bored and just scrolling servers I talk in because they are all dead rnš )
"can u comp this hall effect keyboard? i need it for my data analysis"
Just bought a Razer controller
Had one it was decent
that mouse is massive wtf
eh, the products i've had were ok, just not worth it's price @polar girder
Gets absolutely cake walked by my custom roller tho
Wolverine V3 Wired
wouldn't say they were bad, but the price to quality ratio wasn't it for me
It feels weird to use now
I forget the name but I had their top tier Playstation one
y'all FPS gamers right?
No complaints about it, qc wasn't what I expected for the price I paid though....
I dabble across the spectrum, but FPS is a solid lock
Shit broke pretty quick
Yeah. I bought the controller for ROCKET league or other random tho
Almost exclusively
OH that reminds me, so for gamecube controller modding, a service you could get is to get pingless springs for the shoulder buttons.
How they did that was pretty much put a torch to it until it turned red hot, then let it cool, then it became pingless. wonder if that'd work for switch springs lol
wonder if that'
that's how geon makes theirs
heat treating
im taking a torch to my dahuks brb
bro i'm loving these duhuks lol i just installed them 20 mins ago

duhuk <
Duhfuck
duhfuk
nvm
^
phew
muthahuka
duhfuk
that was a close one
ok shamless question, does anyone know where to find a clone for a GMK rewind lmfao
i do not wanna drop $200 for a keycap set sry
Probably aliexpress
i tried š„² not there
but it's just one of numerous 60% cases
now if you search for venom
oh wait you're searching wootstations
I remember you mentioned the whole discord
how much is it?
$160
yea because salv actually has a fun mount, this thing is a boring ass gasket mount
still better than 80he's mount ofc.
I mean for booting a $160 such mount case is kinda fine
considering the frog is unavailable and there's not many other cases
dt60 just ugly to me
100 then its a good case
bezels too sharp and big
yeah same, too big, blocky
maybe like 120 i still say its fair
I remember how sharp redux was too lol
Basically a tofu with thick bezels
Shits sharper than my door wedge (tofu)
Yeah with more features
love my freebird and this lx60
tofu-like design with added nuances
i feel like them designing and machining a new mounting system sets it apart from the tofu a lot
idk the price seems ok to me
for the experience of messing around with different mounts
did anyone else have a harder time than usual when installing duhuks? idk if its the switch or the new switch plate I got
aaaaaaa i need neo60cu
i chose it instead of bowls pangea mini
Geon Pingless 62g Springs (DRY/No Lube)
@fluid ravine
pangea
isnt the neo60cu rly good value tho
160 for neo60? hard to beat if you compare something to it

do you have the recording for jade pro springs duhuk and do you think so far
Plateless solder brass
raw with dahuk stems
@quiet bay
Copper starts at 180
i saw the video you posted the other day, did you find it necessary to lube the duhuks?
i find duhuk housings to give a brighter and "solid" sound compared to the soft sound of the raws
and what're the differences between the raw and the duhuk stems
in the duhuk housing
it wasn't rlly necessary the lube is pretty solid and I actually liked it better than raws
I would lube springs though
it loses the softening mechanism on stem for top out
yea the springs are a lil crunchy on some switches
Duhuks have this sort of muffle to it
the stem
it mutes topout a bit
I see
in my case it was funky
I like em so far, they do seem to be pingless so far, but I'll keep typing on them and see
but I think clackier builds even it out and makei t sound normal
alr lmk thanks
What if its like pom, self lubricating

ok time to test dahuk myself brb
did you have pc plate in there for the recording you sent?
This is Jade Pro springs
What config brudda
yea yours sounded super unique, what was your config?
i will try alu plate dahuk
Frog Mini (With Bumpon feets)
GMK Cosmos
Venom 60HE 7U
Force Break Mod
Duhuk Core HE (Jade Pro Springs and lubed with Krytox 205g0)
70a Tadpoles
FR4 Plate
Silicone Sandwich Pad
Swk Knight V2 stabs
I switched back to 60A Tads, sorry not sorry lol
70a???
i got the PP plate and idk what I expected, it sounds super close to the PC plate
is it noticeably taller with the bumpon?
Nah I used pretty low profile ones
Klippe T
Cerakeys
PC Plate
Duhuks with raw stem (lubed stem and springs with super lube)
Tape mod (1 Layer masking 1 layer moleskin)
Poron switch pads
Tx plate mounts
Polyfill case foam
Gummy Mount (30a softness)
lol
def the switches that gives it life
oh hell no these springs
thats one thing i want to try after dave mentioned it
fire
I also added a tiny tiny bit of polyfill in the bottom
not much at all
chat you ready for silent thocks type shii
I got 22mm HE springs and I'm thinking of switching the springs out for my duhuks, they're almost identical to the jade stems
jade pro springs* not stems
ic
my raw + salv is thocky and silent compare to duhuk + tofu 2.0
duhuk hella loud
the sound of sadness
yo what lol

bro uploaded a cherry mx blu vid and thought we wouldnt notice
boba u4t silent tactiles
for the mice enthusiasts out here, is there a fix for the scroll wheel automatically scrolling "1 notch" if that makes sense? or to make the scroll wheel more tactile so it doesn't accidentally scroll by itself? idk if i'm using the correct verbage but hopefully u guys know what i mean lol
mine are black version hehe
it's painful for me as a scroll wheel jumper lol
Oh okay lol
@tawdry tree full build
Like ghost scrolls?
The ones from ali?
Lubing my scroll encoder with 105 helped remove that for me
On my lamzu
yea the wheel kind of sits in between two notches and gives in to either side on it's own
if u can see what i'm sayin
it was fun to experiment
my geon mx switches will probably feel soo good after this lmao
amazon iirc, lemme fetch u the link
Try lubing your scroll encoder
With a small amount of 105
Oh cuz Ik @fluid ravine was dogging his 22mm ali springs
What is this silent blues š³
@thorn zealot
wouldn't be surprised if they were the same company or vendor from ali
just got em in anticipation for new switches in general
they are silent but tactile
feel like yours are quite a bit more noise than mine. maybe they changed something with the transparent version
is that the module that holds the scroll wheel itself?
Yeah lemme send a pic
that'd be sick
which version you have? mine are black with white stem, maybe some materials are diff
not sure if these even come lubed or not lol
My lamzu has an open top so it was easy
If yours is sealed I'm unsure how you'd go about lubing it
Couldn't figure it out on my beastx mini
oooo i see, how does lubing it help it from scrolling on its own though? I got a juvenile understanding of this so i'm curious
It smoothens it out and makes it not really get "bound" per say in-between 2 steps
scroll wheel automatically moves after you stop?
so you stop, and then it advances by 1 "step" ?
^ @sour blade
yea i read this
they should lube the post
but im tryna figure out whats wrong with the encoder
I lubed the wheel the steps are on and it got rid of that issue alongside my ghost scrolls
its infrequent, but happens enough for it to be an issue. it'll sit on the "bump" and then fall into one of the notches. the catalyst could be a swipe, click, any subtle movement can cause it to move from the bump to the seat
i'm trying to explain it as best as i can, but this shit is hard LOL
ah
I'm not smart with that shit idk what technically is going wrong I just know this fixed it for me
nah ag im tryna understand
okay that makes sense
the white one with the transparent top housing, prob dif material yeah.
so far i only lubed the post of the scroll wheel with a tiny amount of 205g0 (as suggested by some reddit posts), but i see that i should've used 105 now
ooo ok
where would i lube the encoder? the hole right
flexcut are getting more fancy even (i just realized that shit was 2 years old, thought i clicked a new vid atm. mb ;3)
i thought the community was hating on them
hell nah wtf isthat
Oasis Wave 88, random keybort vid to relax after dinna
is the encoder open top or closed top
also not the hole
Why are some people installing there switches south Facing on the Wooting? I mean if u dont whant rgb just turn it off wtf
I mean why not
flex aint it for me
bounce better
Yea i just dont get the Point unless im missing out ob some Information
No ur right there is no reason
But ppl just do it just to do it
Like me
Okay hahaha thanks
@night atlas this is closed top
Also may be some ppl come from mx boards
and this is open
And most of the time u put switches south to avoid keycap interference
Ah get it
Why u do it on mx boards (im fairly new to the hobby and my Wooting is the First custom Keyboard i own)
This
Ah also kk
yo these dahuk spings are Not it man...
Thx
tru
I will spring swap them to jade pros
i have jade non pros (the first generation) on hand
is it even worth spring swapping to those
they should be around the same length and weight, probably not that worth
i see i see
i'd have to see, i have the logitch g pro superlight x 2
if that helps
what is the functional difference between open and closed
i looked at a teardown video it looksed closed to me
meaning its hard for you to get lube into the mechanism itself
putting it in hole wont do much
i'm gonna try and be mature about the wording here
LMAO
if ur prying it open might as well desolder and replace the entire encoder
im going to tolerate dahuk springs for a little bit, listening to that cherry mx silent blue video built up my tolerance
here's something to forget about that video
this is vid 1
the mic was not from phone
this vid sounds like you have unlubed stabs in every single key
yea imma just wait for my new mouse.... deranking until then
thanks for the help tho @sour blade @marsh saffron
not sure if you realise, but the switches are different in the vids
(Building with dahuks rn)
How are these springs so bad
They actually manage to sound worse than lekker v1 springs
HOW is that even possible
what mouse pcb
you don't have a monitor stand ?
lube em?
they have a gpx superlight
dual monitor arm
i also tried jade maxes, i like your name lol

oh and it's vertical and not horizontal mb
interesting tho
sad reality
i bought 180 switches š
max price, max rgb, max friction ...
i cant fix them
max awful
im gna do that when i replace them so i save time
just kitbashing a board together for now
i bought 180 switches š You got scammed 180 switches
i am a geon raw he pilled individual
I got main 27 inch horizontal, another 24inch vertical
time to duhuk
i also like your name very funny
same here
horizontal vertical horizontal
_|_
i just angle myself differently if need my third
My second monitor has sooo bad angles (tn) that I can't use it in vertical position
(27inch 360hz) (24"vertical) (27inch)
and because I got an UW, I have no space left for another 24inch monitor
(horizontally)
with an UW i guess you don't need a second monitor, though I'd rather have 2 normal ones
Introducing the "ah i dont f*kn care anymore" mount
When I paly games in fullscreen, and I want to see a stream, a yt video, discord or smth else
gg rip
Isolating bottom sound is very fun
anyone know where i can find a lubed vs unlubed wooting x ttc kom pom sound test
Nice
Iām 24ā horizontal solo lol
lmao erik in todays stream said something about wanting to play a new battlefield, well guess what gameplay leaked today
if its pure (high percentage isopropyl alcohol)
Yes. Even water is safe if the device is completely dry before powering it on. However, water doesn't do a good job of cleaning.
yeah you can get away with 70% if you let it dry
before turning it on
im punishing myself and using a shitty wooting
stock keycaps
stock stabs
aliexpress 30 dollar alu case
no mount, just pcb on foam with 2 plastic screws holding it in
why am i doing it?
no idea
unlubed shitty spring dahuks
w
āCopper plate for minimum latency and maximum conductivity. A lot of you guys donāt understand that tech but it does help performance wise.ā ~Boardzy
TTCs + Copper Plate when?

6.25 on a 7 lmaooo
what da fk is that
New plate to try whenever someone makes it
spoiler nobody will
oh lmao rivions built it for him
but boardzy just slapped a 6.25u on it
his review makes sense tho
waitttt I never noticed that
first thing that came to mind was "panel gap"
the reason venom is so hyped up is for the custom side
so he had too high expectations
Who is rivions
magic ghost ping
Because people think venom is somehow better
When it is worse due to software
venom has no deadzone, 8khz and diff layouts, that's why it's curious for some people, don't get offended lol
Yeh he didnāt have the keycaps
Wooting dosent have deadzone. You didnt watch simon tedtalk?
With this caps would have been sick though but he is looking to buy a new set
How much did you charge him for fake copper plate
Didnāt charge him a penny he bought all the parts and sent it to me, and I shipped it back
Wooting team talked about this already, there is a deadzone in the firmware that can't be adjusted yet, maybe in new wootility but I havent tried that
Only thing I helped him source was the case and the stabs, switches plates and pcb he already got
He literally yapped for 60min that wooting dosent have deadzone
I wonder who sold him idea of Copper plate
Same here, if you are curious you can ask him in his server
Ngl wooting discord this channel is great place to get info about he keyboards
prolly got it from divinikey cos it looked cool
Copper plate already exists
Is varedis just trolling?
It literally does
Yeah both software is great in their own ways
I basically prefer Venom Layout, Wooting Software, and Wooting Warranty
and Wooting shipping cost cause Geon charges me $60
Literally where in any of this does it say āwooting doesnt have deadzoneā
im so confused rn lmao
Yeah there is a deadzone, idk why this is even a debate
why we lying
idk
church of wooting behavior ig
Geon cases, Venom layout, venom performance, venom price, wooting software, wooting warranty pretty much
Howās the software on the m6 lite+ I was planning to get one, wanted to try out geon raw he on that
Yeah geon do have nice cases
Howās the overall pcb
Never get mmstudio
Huh
?
Is it bad?
no one even says venom is better than wooting (apart from mj xd)
it's just an enthusiast pcb
theyve yet to support their pcbs and not abandon them for a period longer than 10 months
Horseshit track record
Do not go m6lite you will be stuck chasing board like its a subscriptions
I already ordered wooting
Any other keyboard I should try?
Mx
or topre
dont really need two he boards tbh
No dks, tachyon mode etc no gamepad. And their tachyon mode is only for few keys so they do not have 8k on entire keyboard
try the hhkb
Yep and he is making some good budget ones too
?
Yeah he always has pretty good pricing on his products imo
True but people here said some keyboards are better than wooting right now so I just wanted to try the others out too
What does that have to do with lying about there not being deadzones in a wooting lul
No need for hkkb when he can buy raeds for he topre
Not at all?
Hm64z, which still isnāt in stock, howās that?
lol venom doesn't need tachyon cause it doesnt have rgbš
raeds bump arent very tactile compared to other domes
I still want that Venom65HE and Machina case tbh
its a guy who said wooting doesnt have deadzones because he misread what simon said, dont bother

I saw focus mode in boardzy review..
you want the hhkb for the og experience
Which exactly works like
Tachyon mode on early wooting keyboards
Uhhh no?
Yes
so you say no tachyon mode, but venom has smth similar?
dont get it
I said it has tachyon mode but it is called focus mode. Description is exactly the same how tachyon mode works
not at all?
well most boards start with dual 8k unlike wooting
focus mode isnt the same yea
tachyon mode disables lighting effecdts so keys' input receive better priority, focus mode has nothing to do with lighting effects or removing stress and instead just prioritizes 8-10 keys and boosting their scan rate
I mean it all sound like bs settings but there is no rgb to begin with so not sure why we should compare them in context of one being better than the other
like what?
11 seconds Ā· Clipped by JakubixIsHere Ā· Original video "NEW #1 Keyboard? Venom60 HE First Impressions (SHOCKING)" by boardzy

THATS TACHYON MODE
You cant deny it
read message above
lmao
SIMOOON
are u honestly saying you believe wooting has no deadzone?
Not v5
š
Yep
nah he is just annoyed people discuss other pcbs here here (its not forbidden btw), and acts as if people are saying venom is better
brand allegiance type shit lmao
Focus mode lowers scan rate on some keys to prioritize others increasing the scan rate, tachyon disables rgb effects to free up internal storage to increase scan rate
While they achieve increasing actual scan rate they don't do it the same way
it just comes off as a cope and smear campaign
cry harder i guess
Jakubix, the whole āno deadzoneā conversation where this started long ago was literally just wooting using a different name for deadzone

weak bait
enjoy ur board :D
Well
you will crawl back when they release new 60he module
all keyboards have deadzone, just that particular conversation being referenced was tony or someone else referring to deadzone as only sensor deadzone or whatever and saying deadzone didnāt exist there. It doesnāt mean thereās no deadzone in terms of what everyone else calls deadzone
With 8000hz
nobody cares about 8000hz keyboards
thats not a selling point to give a shit about
Hes talking about rt?
its gonna take way more than that, polling rate is a worthless selling point over center udb and layout options + i already have a venom so why bother
Ooh
theyāre referencing wootings self imposed deadzone
Which is fine but itās still deadzone
it's okay you don't have to be prove anything to anyone just cause someone is talking about other stuff here
atleast when i shill something its not outright lying
like Thockfather and Cam literally build themselves a Venom just to see what it's about
Nah mjj is too high on venom copium
what copium
what copium
u literally tried to push the idea that wooting has no deadzone
š
thats copium
yeah kinda
i thought i was a shill for how i praise beastx
and u have poor listening skills
because i guarantee whatever he said isnt even close to it
sure buddy
it's safer here cause it's a keyboard discord
Venom and wooting are both fine boards with different pluses, donāt get sucked into the silly my pcb tribe is better game
if I didnt care about 7u layout I'd probably see no reason to order a venom
7u spacebar only belongs in tkl
then why is it in a 60%
At this stage itās just sarcastic baitfest between nonsense tribes lol
7u too good
why
good thing venom tkl has 7u support then
šø
Because it is not comicly large in tkl
one of the desirable things about 7u is symmetrical bottom row on a 60%
it won't be symmetrical on a tkl
but again some people don't even care about 7u so its whatever
10u wkl is one im considering rn
just 1 giant key 15u x 5u
tribalism prevents circlejerking
In f12 tkl propably. In f13 nope
i love my venom š
on another hand, just ordered me some factory new sealed western discs of Yakuza with hilarious dubbing
Just get both
How american are we talking
True. Be masters mvp winner t1 meteor who uses wooting on comp games and venom on chill stream rig
Sounds like a chill guy
The chillest psychopath playstyle valorant pro you will ever meet
english dub of these games is a meme in itself, cause back in 2006 publishers thought western players want a ton of swearing
Well thats only way of their trash talk without getting fined
that's what I do
This would be me if I still played comp games
but I just own both anyway

i so put 22mm springs in my duhuks cause i wanted snappier return, has me thinking, what're the upper and lower limits for spring length for switches?
yo can someone tell me whats wrong with this spacebar
cheaper & db + cutouts = more case options
I have a question regarding switch pullers, have anyone experienced difficulty in pulling with wootings switch puller? I can get a good grip of the switch and it always slips out of the puller. Any suggestions on a ābetterā puller or am I doing somerhing wrong?
yeah it usually is difficult with it, so look into some proper metal ones
if you got some money to throw, this saved my life and my poor fingers
those switch pullers are worth it
Thanks for the advice! Iāve tried bothe the one that comes with the KB and the one from their mod kit, none works great⦠do you recommend to disassemble the keyboard and then pull all switches? Iāve seen some advice about that online
surprisingly my plastic one has taken a good amount of abuse but still holds up perfectly fine
Take the board apart and push out the switches from below
Hey, can someone tell me if this pen will do the trick to baglube my spring or should I look for GPL 105 instead?
Safer option than pulling them while assembled?
what case is this ?
Safer (wont break the switches and puller) and easier
should be fine
salvation
Im a little bit afraid of damaging other parts while dissassembling but Iāll give it a try
All you need is a screwdriver with the correct size tip
Will try, thanks guys!
I was also, but it made my life so much easier to disassemble, dont worry its easier to disassemble than you think!!
hey guys is here anyone with a venom with the ttc x wooting switches and the beta software ?
@calm pulsar maybe ?
or @harsh dove
Thanks š
cause when i use ttc poms x wooting on my venom with beta software actuation on 0.1 and rt on wasd on 0.1 sometimes when i am typing my keyboard types sometimes random numbers i think it is better on stable tho testing at the moment but i hate the light that i can not adjust for the profiles
jakubix still saying that there is no deadzone on wooting? its been months jakubixš
did they announce something new on the livestream i was not able to watch it cause i was at work can someone give me a tldr ?
nah
they just denied the development of a 80he with a knob
alright i dont use a knob tho
its cool for aesthetic but i never got the use case for it except volume
Im on stable version
true dat
Alright untill now no issue on stable version i hope they realease a new stable version soon so i can adjust the rgb profile cause i jave some issues with the beta with callibration i think but u probably read my messege
what switch did you choose in the software
Geon raw
could be just too sensitive
Yeah the poms start random typing even on 0.1 actuation
But no issue on stable untill now like i said
For now i gonna stay on stable version i think of this remeans good otherwise will try that
Truuueee
I just hope they release a new stabe dirmware soon cause its been a while
it's just travel distance lol
it's the same as raw, I choose raw for poms on venom
well actually maybe im wrong, cause switches have different magnet strength etc
maybe geon adjusts sensors based on that for every switch
nice wet dream

im thinking of switching back to harder tadpoles
feels so nice for typing but the stiffness i think would play better for games
:3
I saw people say she cant sing
SHE CAAN SINg
which ones you've got
im kinda fine gaming on 50a, but having a denser plate also helps with gaeming
fr4 is so sad
i hate it so much
sounds dead
The woot poms look clean af
I have fr4 in both my MX and HE, sounds fine to me, with no foams it aint dead imo
Could be i dont know i am just gonna stay on stable for now and hooe it wont hapoen on stable and hope they will release new stable sooner then later
Cause fuck the caps lock rgb for profile indicator that u cant adjust on stable
Nice picture
Gonna hand lube ?
yeah they can benefit from lube for sure, also bag lubing the springs helps
this coloray looks better than og poms
Sound is where youāll notice the most difference honestly. If you lube one and put it next to an unlubed pom youāll notice the plastic chatter
the lube removes the box stem rattle
wow
hey lube is expensive these days
Hello guys , I bought these magnetic jade pro switches but there is no magnetic is it normal like this ?
