You do not have to. The Jades’ stock springs aren’t really lubed. There’s a bit of lube in the bottom housing that gets stuck on the bottom of the spring, the top of the spring is completely dry iirc.

hey guys i am just curious, i am considering buying a wooting 60he+ stock but i am wondering if maybe i should just buy the module? if i buy the 60he+ stock and then want to upgrade, for e.g. installing friction pad, changing switches, changing case. can i do all of that or do i have to buy the module now?

you can get extra kits from gmk black snail (geon), he has beige colorway there

you can upgrade the stock one just the same

the module comes with pcb mount stabs though, but the pcb is exactly the same so you can upgrade the stabs and everything else
