You can replace the springs of the TTCs, although they don’t match exactly with Gateron/Wooting’s springs, they still work perfectly fine.

If you’re talking about the V2 L45s, then yes, however, the only difference between Black Knights bottom housing and V2 L45’s bottom housing is the color. They are identical otherwise. (same factory, same mold).

from what I’ve seen/heard personally, having holes may be a bit quieter but the noise is higher pitched, I’d rather have something louder and lower pitched. but I like louder thocky/ poppy switches. noise also really doesn’t bother me because I’m typically wearing a headset and even if I’m not I have like 2 dozen fans on full speed in my room at any given time (dwarfed in comparison to the ambient noise floor at work)

If I don’t have that ambient noise, my tinnitus kills me, literal deafening silence.

I have the new plate “fr4” in and so far no issue at all pulling out switches and them breaking. My theory is the salvation has a big of more up and down motion maybe slightly warped the PC plate making it harder to pull out certain switches and causing them to break there idk

I doubt it. Many here have the salv including me and no issue like that whatsoever. My only guess would be the hole in the PCB of the “A” key is slightly smaller so that “rips” the pin when you pull it out. Doesn’t really make sense cause pins are pretty strong but that’d be my best guess.

from my thorough googling, i've heard poron platefoam + PC plate combo gives the most bass frequencies

i can very much be wrong though

just know that the standoffs are fucking fragile

as in, putting the PCB in and aligning it w/little force will cause em to snap lol

gummy oring friction is objectively better than burger mount i'd say, but too bad you on module. friction pad is okay too. these two are much easier to do and can achieve better effect than burger mount

because the whole idea with burger mount is to soften the contact between pcb and case, but you still gotta screw the pcb in with burger mount. gummy oring/ friction pad you just using friction

you can try to find clip in stab(works with module gummy oring mount according to a few people in this channel)/ grab the friction pad. if you wanna gamble it probably the softer ones would be more likely to work.

yeah i think most o-rings gummys are too thick for the screw-ins but these graveshift smalls specifically should be gucci
