I lowered the windows key and space bar (jump) a bit as it was a bit to sensitive. It can be very personal, I recommend you play the game/s you play and see if you accidentally press anything but definitely lower the windows key

It’s the lubing/spring of certain switches

I had a few (3-5) magneto pom switches that were slightly overlubed and they lost some of the clack, had to clean them out/replace them with a different switch

I suspected that and tried switching some out but they seemed the same. Will double check though.

I tub lubed the stems and oiled the springs. It’s not terrible or ruining things for me, just something to look into and work on y’know?

For mine that I went overboard with id just spam press it for 5-10 mins and if it didn’t fix it, that switch ended up getting demoted to the extras container. From my experience the plate just amplified what everything else was previously. Could also be possible your plate is slightly different tolerance wise.

Shafie’s friend got absolutely railed with very wobbly tolerances on his CF and they come from the same manufacturer

Ah, you were right. Swapped two that were on opposite ends of the spectrum and the sounds followed.

Yeah, although I don’t think those matter much - you can just lube the springs and be pingless too unless you just don’t want to lube

I envy QWERTY users so much, it's very difficult to find AZERTY ISO keycaps PBT in black which are at least looking nice, we only have the horrible ABS keycaps 😭
I had to buy my keyboard with UK ISO in PBT to avoid crying because my keys will start to disappear with the wear of the ABS

Get pros or RAWs (or V2s if you don’t like clack), frankenswitching is a difficult art form to get down correctly and will result in a lot of trial and error

The only difference between them is the weight of the spring, which is 100% personal preference.

The stem, spring and top housing of the Jades and of the Lekker V1s are identical. So this won’t alter the sound or feel at all, just the stem color. 😉
