Hmmm
so other than the software, do I need to get new stabs as well?
like 3.5mm stabs rather than the stock 4mm ones?
Which keycaps are you using?
Stock?
weird keycrhon profile, its close to the XDA profile
If they are of decent quality, you donât need to change your stabs.
aifei will clone this set for 20 dollars
they've been pretty good for me.
lol
Get your desired switches and use them, if you encounter issues then you can get other stabs later on.
yeah, durock makes 3.5mm stabs right?
i saw someone else had similar idea for color scheme. They put domikey ruby on darker grey case, contrast matches nicely
Yes but I wouldnât get Durocks as they donât fit well
Gateronâs would
Actually, which keyboard are you using?
80HE
Damn I need to whip my symbiote back out
Can anyone advise me on where to get a tofu 60 in England or close by?
yeah, I will try with stock stabs first and then get 3.5mm stabs if its an issue
Oh, then Durocks would be fine.
Iâd still recommend something like TX AP long poles though

just buy spacers
FROM GEON
GEONWORKS STABILIZER SPACERS
geonworks
goonworks
đ€
nah new stabs are low key more fun
this shit
than just putting spacers
people like it but it looks so ugly to me
You mean more money*
real
hrm might do domikey ruby + raw case actually, then move my retro game1989 caps to the 60he
reall
Anyone ?
Oh ok
Ahhh
lol
share when done
domikey hush is also going on big discount in a day btw
that plus $7-10 aliexpress discount - people can pick it up for like $65 usd
Nooo don't take away the froggy's gal friend
What do we all think of the milk tooth WS dash switches
FUCCCCCCCCCCCK
I was looking at that before but I didn't have any case that would match
Currently
$65 for entire all-in-one set is pretty dam good pricing for domikey lol
Yeaaaah
That looks rly nice
Ahh screw it with some accent keys it will match the board
I think that set does what I need it too
Those are noice
Original Jade recolor.
Why ?
because jade pros exist, ws dashes are worse version
Also that price is too good vs what the slime is going for right now
You said on sale tomorrow for these?
yeah aliexpress winter sale starts, at least for korea it's 21 hours from now
Iâll check it out. Ty sir
Any other nice sets you want to tell us about Sno
Are these then ?
lol, just the domikey ones for now. I've been eyeing the translucent sets for ages
Original Jades for way too much.
Yeah I have a love for translucent sets
Sorry replied to the wrong thing
Oh np
Yes the price
These overpriced
Yes
Iâm in England so the options are limited
No Jade Pros on amazon?
They were on Amazon
jade pros are on amazon but not on sale anymore
These
Geon Raw HE Switches specifications: Each pack contains 10 switches Linear Hall-Effect Switch Top Housing: PC Bottom Housing: Nylon Stem: POM Spring: 15.0mm, Single Pre-travel: 0.1 ~ 3.3mm (Analog) Total Travel: 3.4mm Initial Force: 36.0g Bottom-out: 50.0g Magnetic Flux: Initial: 160Gs Bottom-out: 720Gs 2-Pin Lubed
Thatâll do
jade pros are so overpriced on maxgaming
just get raw he from deltakey
its like half the price
yes
Yeah
Ok I just donât wanna lose money lol and more importantly leak my address
if price is ok for you for jade pros get them with tofu60 redux case from max gaming
Delta is as well
How you mean?
How much are they?
Is 0.90 euro per cap ?
Ugh
60 quid
yes, very expensive

10pcs
@vale mica maybe just order tofu60 redux from maxgaming, and then wait for a sale on jade pros or just get raw hes from deltakey
What color did you get?
Delta key Dosent have em
i might buy the randomized one
Oh word
ah gotcha
So Iâm getting confused , where should I get each of them from ?
raw he from deltakey, jade pros on amazon
Raw HEs on DeltaKeyCo
if its on sale
Tofu from Maxgaming
This em
yes
could get stuff like a switch opener and puller from either as well.
Says their lubed would it be a good idea to lube em after fact
Puller comes with wooting donât it
You can always handlube but if you cba itâs fine.
Itâs kinda shit
Can I put lube in a plastic bag with the switches and do shake up
yea puller from wooting is dogwater
Itâll do (I think )
Thatâs only from the springs
Please dont
So brush time ?
just use it stock
Lel
Ok
Iâd get one, theyâre like $3-5
But shipping
switch opener isnât necessary
Eh, yeah well
Each geon raw has 10 so should I get 7 packs to be safe so I have spares
Itâs up to you
Shipping costs are extortionate
Yes
đ
how much?
and what about the tofuâs shipping?
Youre set, tofu from maxgaming, 70pc geon raws from deltakey, you dont need anything else
thatâs a much heavier item.. đ«Ł
Except bravery for when I do it
lol (kill me )
đ©
I forgot they dont deliver in UK
WHYYY

They donât ship to UK?
loool
Soooooooo next plan
ok then wait for a sale for jade pros
Do they go on frequently
Could either get everything from KBD directly (not sure how much shipping and taxes would be) or from AliExpress, maybe.
maxgaming would be faster but maybe not cheaper than from KBD directly
I canât tell if itâs 0.90 per cap or if there is a quantity
0.90 for 1 jade pro
0.90 per
Boi who knew they were so hard to get
Yep , non taken
somehow harder to get stuff in the UK than it is in Eu
Here's a non-phone video of that black alu plate with raw he in the Optimum case
@tawdry tree
Oh yeah, much better
Last questions promise .
Does wooting have everything?
If not , Why Dosent wooting sponsor and get this stuff in their shop
Louder and more poppy on Alu than on PC or POM?
Definitely louder and feels sharper than the POM plate I was using before
ok guys raw he or lekker 45 v2
Wooting does not, Tofu is by KBDFans. Wooting has the Alumaze for example.
Woot is looking to stock the Raw HEs and some other switches in the future but no ETA.
Yeah sounds like it.
wich are better for gaming l45 V2 or raw he
How did you know the plate was compatible btw?
Doesn't matter
Either
They both have the same gaming performance
Raw HEs are not quiet though.
by lookin at it
đ
lmao
Itâs a good find
idk why KBD doesnât list it as compatible with Woot
are theyre iso french layouts theyre
I can get both the case and 70 jade switches on kgb fans
Yeah they weird
fr
Do I need a weight bar in the case ?
Does it just make it feel beefy
I see . Do I need a plate for 60he ?
Oh, yeah you could get a plate
Which one
but itâs not necessary
guys wich should i get then you guys decide l45 V2 for quiet or RAW he
Whatâs it do and which one of I do
it's not "KGB" fans.. lol
Oh ffs
đđ
Dah
Whatâs better but more importantly what plate should I get for the 60he
Raw HEs are NOT quiet!
yea idc womp womp for my parents or the L45 to make them happy
You understand that when you order, youâll pay shipping and then import costs when it arrives at your doorstep right?
So the more you add, the more import will be, not that it matters a lot
how much is UKâs import anyway?
I may be biased since I am parent aged, but "womp womp for them" probably isn't the way to go.
how would it sound if i put foam in my case between my plate everywhere how would the l45s sound
true true
i cant choose tbh they are used to normal jades so idk
tbh
@tawdry tree what do you think
?
l 45 v2 or the raw
Raw HEs are slightly louder than your current Jades.
No offense but you've missed a lot of context on this one
ok nevermind then
If you donât mind loud (which you said was important) then Raw HEs have a cleaner sound and would be slightly cheaper.
Jade pros only
Gateron đ€ź
nah nevermind then but the jades have 30g force right? or and the L45 45
So clean đ§Œ
I love my KoMs but are you on an anti-Gateron thing now?
Jades have 45 as well iirc
Jades and L45s are very similar
Yeah jade/pros are both around 45
Regular jades are ass
Always have been
Incorrect, sir, but I am not willing to litigrate this one again.
so theyre simmelar just more quiet
Gently Silent and Jade Maxes made it worse
Compared to pros? Way better lol
TIL! Gotta stand for something or you'll fall for anything.
yes but jade pros feel heavier than both l45 and regular jades because of longer spring
I have both, ain't no arguing w/ this bad boy. I think the upgrade is there, but not world changing.
Yes and Lekkers have a total travel of 4mm where Jades have a shorter travel of 3.3mm.
so is theyre a difference between the comp adventage bc in my mind the shorter travel is better but idk
Also not much good happened between Woot and Gateron
I haven't tested this, not actually certain whether that's true or not. The spring could have a different constant offsetting the preload đ€·

hence they dropped them
Its true.
Shall I uh drop the paragraph
Shorter travel isnât better, itâs preference.
I didn't know they broke up w/ Gateron, another TIL
ohhhh
đđđ
yes
Mecha Mini!!
Vacuumed the whole house and it looks like my plates are out in the mailbox...
The design of the two-stage spring makes it longer than a normal âone-stageâ spring. This means that the spring is compressed more than a one-stage spring during the unactivated state, and it reaches its bottom out weight more quickly. This makes the downpress feel more firm and consistent, as there is a smaller range of forces between the beginning of the keypress until bottom out or even actuation. In addition, the upstroke after lifting your finger is noticeably faster, meaning that there is the ability to rapidly repeat keystrokes in a shorter amount of time. Two-stage springs are also less likely to have spring ping because being more compressed even in the unactivated state means that there is less room for the spring to move/rotate around.
after a rough relationship, yeah
This should somewhat apply to longer springs as well
Words been spreadin

Yup yup
Yeah I get how preload affects where on the pressure graph the beginning of the stroke is, just don't know if the constant on the springs in the pro vs non is the same or not
If the springs of the Jade Pros are longer and the bottom out force is the same. From that graph, the initial pressure required should be higher.
@tawdry tree
Yes!
i put the spring of the jade in the lekker and it sounds quiet and feels good
so
im just gonna buy the lekker 45s
Spring swapping takes like 30minutes
nah not gonna do that
just want the 45s
so idk im just gonna buyt the l45S
V2
tollerance and miner inprovements
@tawdry tree how is the factory lube on the L45S?
fine
Ah about to be 2025
Another year without a switch opener am I right? @stone flax
i bought a glorious switch opener for 2 dollars and threw it away
Just use tweezers
screwdrivers are better
Screwdrivers>
I use tweezers to open switches
@tawdry tree you think its worth it just gonna put foam everywhere with it tho
illness
Nah youâre all wrong, gotta run over your switches like the batch 1 fedex drivers for maximum convenience
You can stuff the case with foam, foam between the plate. That with Lekkers will be quiet.
luckily my package was fine lol, but the box of L45 container was cooked
Compared to what you have now.
great
container itself was fine
is it enough to use the foam from the redux?
Were each of the switches open tho?
Thatâs the proper way of opening them
Does the foam on the bottom of the case distort the noise making it less loud without it ?
no, switches and the jar itself was fine
i was surprised
Then they didn't do it right
1 star
L
Facts
Could use the stock foam as well
if you separate the top and bottom piece
im gonna try building this salvation without a guide
Stock Wooting foam.
intuition type shyt
Whatâs the point of foam on the bottom of case?
would that be better then the redux foam?
should be fine
Yeah
The foam with the redux is a bit thin
Sound dampening
oh ok
So without it, keystrokes sounds louder ?
i like the feel of the stock jades better because of the tollerances
and smoothness
so idk if that should be fixed by buying the l45S
Slightly, and not so much resonance in the case itself.
So you wonât notice a difference with or without the foam?
Lekker V2s and original Jades have around the same wobble
so dw
GREAT
You would
Maybe not you, but I would*
Okay what do you prefer with or without ?
who here built a salvation
Currently have foam rn
Especially on the Tofu w/o weight.

whatâs up
I like with but I like quiet.
how necessary at the plate stand offs
cuz the pcb plate assembly will be screwed into the leaf springs anyway
hotswap?
tbh i like the 4mm more on the l45 then the jades
wait @tawdry tree could i private dm you?
Ofc
Imma leave foam just need to loosen my screws a little cause I feel like it will help with sound
@tawdry tree are these necessary if the pcb-plate assembly will be screwed into the leaf springs anyways
i feel like it could be done without them but im not sure
Youâd have a loose plate if not
It can be
but I wouldnât recommend it
i was hoping the switches + leaf springs would be enough to secure them
but ig not
might remove the spacebar stand off tho
See how that affects sound
the leaf springs donât hold the plate to the PCB, the PCB just sits on them
oh
you can try, see how it is
ya ur right
but I wouldnât
i just dont like mounting points/otherwise near spacebar
but it shouldnt be too bad
thx
You only use two screws for the salv
yea the left and right
huh
what screw is that?
wdym
If Iâm running tray mount do I need to screw all 6 spots ?
thats a leaf spring screw
lmao
Noooo
uhh the case looks like this rn
I just watched alexotos salvation build stream tbh
im watching him rn
he just yapping
about nixies
yeah lol
Thatâs good but I didnât use the far left and right one
you dont need the ones on the sides tbh
Anyone know ????

ill try both
Salvun doesnât recommend it iirc
No, you dont need too
Ah
What spots do you recommend to be screwed ?
I personally only use two even in regular tray mount
Itâd be slightly stiffer with them perhaps
Okay Iâll try this I bet it will sound better I feel
Yeah less screws is better imo
bro why does your plate have no screws?
So screw by tab button and other by delete button?
i think its in my frog mini case
yeah
đ
Ehhhhh
I will try this and you prefer not screwing them super tight ?
btw mj, I know you're just building that for someone but do you have any purple loctite by chance?
the screws like to come loose overtime on the leaf springs where the pcb screws in
not purple one
naur
Gg
yeah sometimes you'll hear rattling or ping in the case and be like wtf? its most likely a loose screw for the leaf spring
I'll pull mine out hold on (pause)
is the left one from the salv as well?
most left?
no
dawg what am i dealing with rn
i might just use my own screws
Plate screw
holy moly
@vale mica idk if you ordered anything yet, but lowkey aliexpress is your best option
you put the foam pads under the leaf springs right? @stone flax
yus
aight
yeah the case should be fine
i just need proper screws for the pcb/plate
what length does the stock wooting plate use
because the ones i used for the frog are diff length
the left ones look like they are from the plate
4mm
M2x4mm iirc
yes
nice color
đš
Yeah they give you a lot lol
I canât answer why
The full build
olivia >
@harsh dove howd u go about aligning the pcb/plate before screwing into the leaf springs
I have mine burger mounted so the screws are already installed so to speak and I just kinda feel around for the holes
only waited for 2 months
venom
is ur plate hitting the top of the case
or is it just in the middle?
now you can finally game
They line up pretty easily tbh and nah it shouldn't hit the case
sticky rice feels like it shouldnt fit into the pcb
s44t... do i really wanna force it in with this new pcb...
They are a pain to remove FYI
They are kinda the only magnetic switch you can run plateless though
if thatâs what youâre going for.
that is what i am going for... but damn...I feel like this is gonna damage the pcb
PCBs are pretty strong. Just donât bend it
Like support it while you install the switches
thanks for the tip
doing it right now
it feels so wrong lmao
I can put the stab in after I put in the switch right
for screw in?
Im cooked
I haven't used screw in for so long LMAO i dont remember if that order matters
Why it sound like someone dropped a piece of metal on the floor
somethings hitting something
you can hear mine hit near the spacebar in this video but you can't really hear it IRL, much more pronounced in this video.
Idk why yours is doing that tbh
Yes
dissapears when i unscrew on the right leafspring
i am not touching the switches after i put them in, thanks
i put one in wrong, the force i had to use to pull the switch up was fckin unnatural
@harsh dove fixed it
Them them in south facing
what you end up doing?
at least, caps
wait yea the direction dont even matter
tf was i doing
venom no rgb
and no pin
xD
change out the 4mm screw for a 6mm, it wasnt threading properly or smth
all these boring salv colors, black, blue. Pfft, couldnât be me.
my soul black better
What plate for the tofu 60 is the best ?
Just needs GMK cosmos and your keeb can be its own moon
I like the cosmos color of the salv
That combo would be pretty fire
Preference.
Whatâs it do tho
Changes sound and feel
What would sound smoother and quietly ?
copper slag is cool
Softer plates slightly absorb the sound and stiffer plates slightly reflect the sound so to say
this is what emercoms are made from haha
Softer plates like PC and POM
PC plate would be a good place to start
So soft is quiet and hard louder and sharper ?
finding a set for it is kinda tough
Yeah softer will be more muted and quiet sounding
Slightly, yes.
oops meant intercoms
đ€Łđ€Ł
CF is super stiff
Oh so ansi
ANSI isnât a material
itâs a layout
Thatâs the most stylish intercom Iâve ever seen
Iâve only ever seen ones that look the the wall
behind it (like literally, exactly like it).
Since you want something smooth and quiet, Iâd try the PC plate as a litmus test for what you think you want and then if you want something different you can always try a new plate.
@calm pulsar how you put in the back space?
split pls
yeah here most of them look like this đ
I did split
just put 2 switches and then select split in the software
it seems to be the exact same process as the copper slag lol
oh wait 3 braincells moment
your backspace no stab right?
most gmk sets include back space
yeah
alright alright
stabs only for 2U and up
yeahh
yeah the \ key can be replaced with a dedicated backspace key for the tsangan layout
two no?
or venom doesnât have split shift?
Yeah
yeah exactly
the 7u venom only has split shift, so you can't get the big shift
only on 6.25u
@kind helm as you can see here is the backspace key
oh yeah Iâm stupid
yeee have one of your pictures open right now
xD
Tsangan layout best layout
true and real
I donât even know how backlash as 1.25U came to be
it looks dumb like it was forgotten and stuffed in last moment đ€Ł
Waiting for my Tsangan Wooting PCB
If that day comes
yeah with the backspace in there feels kind of more complete and symmetrical, this way both sides are fully enclosed by mod keys
exactly
and that
if theyâre different colors
yeah thatâs the same for everyone
yeah it was the same for me xd
q
the blue looks so much darker now lmao
yeah its just a temp set
the guys gonna use striker
which is color matched to perfection
how did I know itd be striker
đ
its unironically been done so much
Ah fair
what case and cable is that? :)
Frog Mini x Xray Cable
Damn thats clean
Sorry for asking, but what did you do to make this sound so good? :)
ahhhh thats my bad
No worries
Sounds fantastic!
Thanks!
that stabilizer pads? I personally don't like em, but try em and see if you do
do you have any tips and tricks for the first mods to do with my 60he? :)
What case do you have?
I do use such a pad, just try whatever sounds better for you
Just the stock one
the ABS plastic case?
Yes :)
You can try burger mounting or friction mounting with a gummy-o-ring, both cheap options that are pretty easy to do.
You using Steel plate?
I havent received my board yet
just ordered
But i think it comes with a steel plate yes
Did you get anything else with the board like a lube kit?
No i didnt - would that be worth it? I heard lubing takes HOURS
Lol yeah it does, especially if its your first time
but that can change the sound of the switches a bit
and also lubing stablizers by hand is better
I seee :)
You aslo mentioned burger mounting and friction mounting
And the steel plate
Where do i start doing those? Do i order a new plate?
Everything in this hobby is a preference, so it takes a lot of experimenting to figure out what you like, these are all just some optional mods that alter the sound of your board.
Wooting sells a PC plate on their website for around $20 USD. You can also get 3rd party plates made of different materials from other websites like KBDfans and Hypekeyboards, just have to make sure they're compatible with the Wooting60HE PCB.
You can read up on burger and friction mounting in the #đȘâmodding_faq and I can link you a video
The Wooting 60HE is a stiff keyboard, that we can agree. So, is there something you can do to change this? Sander tries out the burger mount mod for the Wooting 60HE to see if that makes a drastic change in feel, but also in sound.

@harsh dove okay one more issue
when i plug it in the area next to esc becomes metallic
oof
is that alignment again
yeah that can happen with some cables tbh
I need a slimmer cable
hows the tension on the cable? Is is tight/stiff or does it have some slack/looseness to it?
I can kinda see it in the vid nvm
theres some slack
howd u get around this :p
Yeah I see it
Do you have a heavier cable by chance?
One with a metal usb shroud maybe?
hmmm
nope
hmmm
Damn, yeah I noticed when I use my heavier cables with CNCd USB shrouds they dont cause that ping
i got a bit of it removed by looseing the left screw
do you have a pic of these kinds of cables
Ah yeah, I shoulda suggested that tbh, that works too
not at all đ
Yeah frog mini imo is better for HE, Salvation better for MX
@tawdry tree does the l45 V2 also feel mushy
bc for gaming i dont like the L60s because theyre mushy in my opinion
If you donât overlube them, not really. The Jades will be stiffer(?) though.
Because the Jadeâs stem hits the bottom in the center
nah i mean i use the lekkers now and i feel like theyre mushy
rather than in two places on the edge.
I wouldnât say they are mushy but I get what you mean.
like what should i do then
Well maybe you want/need a closed bottom switch
Raw HE or Jade Pro prob
Lekker V2s are on par with the quietest switches. So canât really get anything else.
Neither are QUIET! Decide what you want bro đ
Yeah quiet and mushy generally go hand in hand for HE unfortunately
i know but like the feeling of not having the bottom out sound if you know
You like the feeling of not having a bottom out sound?
no with
lol
like it feels wierd
Bro is tripping
Oh
I donât even know what youâre looking dor
the lekker with the jade spring
Respectfully
ok my parents want my keyboard to be more quiet
You canât make Raw HEs or Jade Pros as quiet as Lekker are, or quiet in general.
So you have to choose.
i currently have jades in a tofu 60 redux and a pc plate with the silecone insert but idk what switches to get bc i would like something quiet for my parents but i dont want something mushy feeling like my lekker with the jade springh
that is the main problem hahahaha
yea but if theyre used to the jades i can do this to i think
Then Iâd stick with the Jades and tell your parents that there is no quieter switch. đ
Donât you wanna save some money?
lol oh
Going from Jades to Jade Pros or Jades to Raw HEs isnât a massive difference.
yea but the 40 euros doesnt do much
You could get Raw HEs then.
To piggy back off aligner, you can say you tried to make it as quiet as possible, but due to the limitations of HE keyboards itâs as quiet as you can make it, shows you tried and they prob wonât counter you on it.
Not a bad strat tbh
what?
I mean if it means keeping your Wooting or not you could buy these:
FeaturesïŒ 1. Hall Effect Magnetic Switches: The keyboard has Gamakay's custom Linear Mercury and Silent Phoenix Hall Effect magnetic switches, offering a unique and responsive typing experience. Adjustable Actuation Point Rapid Trigger: This feature allows keys to be activated or deactivated based on their travel dista
The phoenix variant
Only a half truth đ
CANâT BE MUSHY
TF ARE THESE
lol
bro wants a non existent switch, dw
fr
what are the best deep sounding switches for like thocky sound?
if i need to give it a name
Lekker V2s are about all you got đ€Ł
There isnât one
What donât you get lol
Lekker v2 or Black Knight only remotely close options
RAWs are good but theyâre on par with jades if not clackier so your parents arenât going to approve
Itâs either you tell your parents a half truth and keep jades or you get lekker V2s and suffer in silence. Those are your only real choices here
Or you sound proof your room
I would just get geon raws usually they aren't loud enough for anyone outside your room to care
At least with the door closed
My desk is right next to the door
@harsh dove the plateless salvation
its not impressive
just different
imo
loud af in person

wtf is that
virus
wtf
this post has been fact checked by true frog mini patriots
TRUEâ
frog for looks and sound, salvation for feel
how different it is from the frog? more bouncy?
soft
like holy hell is this even a traymount
so soft
bounce is nice
jiggles like a pancake :v
@calm pulsar i don't know what switches you use and have used but could you maybe share your opinion on a question I have
ohh ic
but the sound is diff?
sure
not a bad thing at all
some might actually prefer it
i dont like the sound as it is right now but that may be in part because im using the stock pc plate
so not totally in love
7U spacebar need more lube or nah
Alu plate installed
not opposed to that I guess, but I still like the looks of frog a bit more
any day of the week
also one more thing
now we have the same build
I got my frankenswitch tho
the frog is at a much lower front height and typing angle
so this is definitnely different
đ
yeah this is more preferable then
Ok I currently use a 60he with tofu 60 redux a pc plate with the silicone insert and jades ok e sides 1 my parents want it to be more quiet 2 I don't like the feel of the lekker I think they're mushy I used a jade spring with the lekker 60 v1 body and I think its mushy what do I do
uh
switch out the silicone for poron or something else
was talkin about the venom pcb, got it in 5 days, 70 for pcb, then 10 for each plate, 40 for hongkong DHL shipping
ngl there's not much you can do
I agree with mj, silicone makes it brighter sounding, so maybe try foam
but othern than that if you don't like lekkers or other open bottoms then there's nothing else that exists rn
you could upgrade to jade pros or raws for cleaner sound, but again they will be the same loudness, raws probably even louder/brighter sounding
Do you use any plate foam or silicone ?
currently no foams in case or plate
Whats your opinion then
I think ima try nothing inbetween, I have foam rn and don't like it
cam
can i ask you something real quick
no
can i ask you something really long
sure
yeah nothing is honestly kinda better now for me, allows the switch to sound fully
do you think that bottoming out on the pole vs rails make a difference in feel
Depends on what long
personally
Yeah I usually prefer nothing and I usually dont like foam but wanted to try anyway lol
And are they're any good aftermarket stabelizers
you mean like closed bottom vs open bottom?
Even with steel plate my tofu build with dashes is very quiet
I mean you already have pc plate which is the quietest
Yea go raws or just suffer in silence
closed bottom vs open bottom, pole bottom out vs rail bottom out, long poles vs regular full travels
yea sure
Ah
Yeah
raws are potentially even louder, so not sure if your parents would approve
on day 1 with my wooting I wanted a closed bottom switch lol
was so excited when jades launched
Sound aside
Guess it depends how hard you type , would affect how much you feel it ig
There isn't one
if you want to get technical then ttc kom are the most stable for gaming, but jade pros and raws are just fine tbh
@calm pulsar or anybody else is theyre any stabelizers that are worth the upgrade over the stock ones
Oh snap
do you have plate mounts?
From that link ??
Yes
definitely depends on harshness and general cadence sure, im just asking because sometime ago someone was complaining about fatigue from raw he they didnt experience on lekkers. i posited it was because of it being a harsher bottom out but no one else agreed lol.
yea you can switch to english on the top of the page
forgot to do that xD
typeplus
sw knight v2s
designer studio adaptive stabilizers
these are good pcb mount stabs
And what is the upgrade over the stock ones?
Did you lube/tune them?
Lube yes tune no
Oh, weird. I think some people can definitely get fatigue from closed bottom switches
Try tuning your stabs, I did and mine became insanely quiet
same thing i said
hard for people to believe tho
Idk how lol
- i used some medical tape bandage to make a dampener on my pcb where the stabs hit it
And idk how to get the stabs back working lol
it's not a huge upgrade, but if done well even plate mounts should be good
other than that any of those I listed should be good, but again you need to lube and tune them as well
Made mine insanely quiet, and they don't feel any bit mushy either
Youtube
How do I do that
đ€
expensive box stem switch by ttc with high stability
KOM - king of magnetics
These are loud asf you probably don't want them
maybe it depends on how hard you type and game
yea
cause I can't imagine having fatigue in other ways
