I made a stem swap on the jade max with the black knight. Stickiness is gone, but I don't like how muted the sound is and the massive stem wobble.

They need to chill and actually take time to make good quality switches.

like if you get 1 piece of glass and another piece of glass with some lube/water between them they can 'stick' together sometimes

so sometimes people randomly get the 'stick' effect where it feels like they're stuck before they suddenly require more friction to slide apart from each other

Files are public and plates have been 3D printed many times. Don’t think Woot’s plate specifically though but the only thing you should consider/change is its standoffs.

They would cause random inputs without having to touch the keys at all because of it

So far I've heard v2 might actually be compatible and not have the inconsistency from switch to switch, but I'd rather wait for people here to test it with wootings analog monitor before buying

the videos i have seen on salvation so far pretty much the differences are just cap, switch, and plates. a lot of alu plate, think a few fr4, a few plateless. but i don't see people do too much to it. theres some guy that did gummy oring on the salvation, i think thats kinda janky for a case like that.
