I've just received the ttc kings, and I was trying them, they are 3.5mm switches, wootility still thinks they are 4mm, wouldn't that be problematic to the performance of the keyboard? If the firmware thinks the switch is 4 but is only 3.5, how is going to interpret correctly the magnetic signals?

alright, I cant quite decide of wether I should get the module or the pre built 80HE. Theres a few changes I'd like to make such as going for lekker 45 v2 instead of 60, and adding Poron foam wherever its ideal to add or replace for a more muted sound! My trouble arrives with the fact I've never built anything custom before so I wouldn't exactly be confident about cutting my own foam into proper shapes, especially for gasket I guess. Honestly I don't know where the biggest challenge would lie. Got any advice?

my 3 brain cell opinion would be get the lady a regular keyboard with nice acrylic build (i remember it exists but i don't remember the name of the kit). easy to carry, looks elegant, probably softer sound is better for office environment, no bs ergo that hurts the lady's wrist.

thanks for suggestions, yeah I don't have any screws in the case, the case is with a built in standoffs (no standoffs to screw into the case arrived with it) and I placed the silcon "caps" on the standoffs even tho probably doesnt matter cause I dont use screws.

i probably would just screw in the plate and the pcb normally, since the switches don't really get attached to the pcb, using all the screws for that give you more consistent sound across the board :3

you're definitely in the 0.1% if you are worried about the color of your plate material already - can't cater to everybody unfortunately - and you do have the option still you just have to do it separately
