I did that on my G Raws, and it worked wonders. However, when it comes to the stem pole, do not add more lube on the brush, just gently rub what is left of the lube residue after doing the sides.

in terms of the lubing process, all linear switches are the same, but for different switches, some come with bad factory lube job, some do a good job. Raw for example is typically recommended to only lube the springs.

i dont think this would work really well for some switch that is hard to open, sticky rice for example, I had to use my fingers to guide the bottom a bit for the top housing to pop off due to the seemingly more flexible top housing material. that is harder to do with this tool :3

I just realized i get some kind of clicking sound when i bump my fingers on the front of the spacebar on the right side, but when i do it on the left side it's silent. i can also feel the spacebar move a little bit when doing so. Is it a stabilizer problem then?

You can't mount it with a silicone pad but if you want to then you have to cut the outer edge. Poron plate foam is a bit difficult only because it needs to be compressed but you can also cut the outer edge as well to make it easier.

The pad is inbetween thr plate and keycaps. I dont see how taking the plate and PCB apart would affect that? (Sorry if Im missing something, Im new to this)

pressing it on the right side sounds better then pressing it on the left side

use the video above to fix the chattering/clacking

newbie to keyboard modding here, i have a question regarding which switches to get for the 60HE+. im trying to go for a really creamy sound and i thought the sticky rices would be good for that but ive read here there could potentionally be some problems with it so i dont want to risk getting those. what other switches would you guys recommend? would there be any with a light diffuser. i really like the rgb to shine through as well although the creamy sound has higher priority for me

jade pro or geon raw would be the "best" options right now. though they are not the "best" in terms of RGB, jade max is transparent so that would work the best, but jade max has some issue due to its dual rail design. The RGB on the other two are not bad, they just not as bright.

also creamy doesn't really mean anything. like if a guy tell you oh the music is creamy you be like wtf is this guy smoking. :V

geon raw he is easily the value king though.
