Geon has such a huge clack cus it's technically the "raw" sound of the board and switches

Sander's video seems to be deeper because of the mod configuration that is in his board

Tape Mod for example plays a huge factor in the pitch of his sound tests

Tape mod is used to filter out high frequencies while also lifting the lows and mids which would make it deeper and louder

So technically if he were to take out the tape mod, you would hear the switch a bit better

The stock case you don't use the 6th screw near the g and h keys. On some cases like the 461E it only uses 4 of the standoffs screw points on the sides.

I personally prefer not to put the one near the spacebar in since I think it seems to make the space bar sound less consistent.

If you have the tofu 60 I would remove the standoffs near the bottom and just use the 4 (2 on each side). I think it should sound more consistant.

I person perfer the anodized to the E-coat. If you use aluminum/steel/brass top plates the anodized surface doesn't get scratched up while the e-coat easily gets scuffed.

I’m new to modding but feel that I am going crazy by constantly chasing the “perfect sound profile” 😂 I have thus far switched to a PC switch plate, hand lubed, bought a Tofu60, and filled it with stock foam
