1. Lekker Springs are already nonmagnetic (pretty sure any HE switch already has nonmagnetic springs lol)
2. I think wooting already has some type of coating on their pcbs already
3. Well yeah, it was never really advertised as a gateron opener
4. I believe those are the right ones
5. No it's not always painters/masking tape. As long as it's not conductive or anything super sticky it can work. I use moleskin tape myself for a deeper sound.
6. I have switch pads installed but I honestly forgot how much of a difference they made. It doesn't hurt to really try though since it's a few bucks (shouldn't affect performance as long as it's not that thick)

So this just happened should I just buy a new board I have to bend the connection really far back to make a contact so I can’t use the existing usbc plug. Luckily the pads are not stripped from the pcb just looking for recommendations

I have much to research. I wish the wooting two he had a side mounted usb c connector. But it appears to be a wire that's mounted onto the center bottom. Which will make custom made usb c to usb a cables hard to use.

I can't tell in the pic. But is the PCB cracked? If that's the case. You might need a new PCB. You should be using a hot plate / hot reflow station for large reflow mass connectors like that.

I wonder, what if we put different keys near an Audio spectrum analyzer to actually objectively see what sound frequencies and amplitudes it emits during the bottom out and return stroke.
