with black you can choose any colour

just flip a coin three times, heads for black and tails for grey

Just jumping in here. Always separate your work keyboard from your gaming keyboard. Get an ergonomically keyboard designed for typing and work then get your specialty gaming keyboard.
It could just be me but what I ask of my work keyboard is drastically different than what I ask of my gaming keyboard.

MX PCB is only compatible with MX switches, HE PCB like Wooting's are only compatible with certain HE switches like the KS20 family

Hey Everyone, would appreciate any feedback or inside that you might have. I want to buy the 60HE+ module but would like to pair them with the ceramic cerakeys. Any idea if the lekker 60 switches would be able to support the weight of the ceramic keycaps? If not would switching the springs out for the Linear100 springs do the trick?

L60 will lift Cerakeys fine with the exception of the spacebar L60s does it but it leaves a lot to be desired. Plus it wears over time. A 80g or 100g does a much better job. @chrome willow

The 100g spring fits the L60 just fine. It’s only required for the spacebar. Unfortunately you have to buy a pack of 100. It’s up to you if you want to do the entire board.

Ok think about it like this, I wanted to switch into a brighter sounding plate like CF for example and dashes/jades have a similar pitch or sound comparing to the RAWs. You had CF plate installed while also having the dashes, you also had a alu case with friction mount. Unfortunately I don't think you had polyfill which would balance out the dampening foam throughout the case so thats why i said "Case foam of choice". So the main point of the test config is just to see how loud or bright the board can be with such switches with the CF plate comparing to PC.

at least with HE switches you can turn them upside down and you'll mostly have no issue except dimmer rgb

What foam should I use in my tofu 60 redux I'm using the jades

for 60he+ with screw in stabs you need a thinner oring

I had the Venus xxl too and it stuck quite well. Just not as plush

well I'd say going for the friction mount and removing the middle standoff is probably the best solution

for better sound

Hopefully a 1200$ budget will cover a custom full size, a custom anodized pattern, new key caps, and the keyboard itself and maybe switches if Im feeling fruity

there are some recommended specs, 180mm OD and 3.5mm thickness, so you can get one with these specs, or pay for expensive orings from US that are probably just the right spec 😄

I personally got my orings from AE and it worked fine

I got one too thick tho, 4mm thickness, so I got me a 3.5mm one
