I appreciate the heads up. They sound a bit more clacky in comparison to the jades, their travel distance is also 3.8mm vs the jades 3.5mm. Lavanders also have a lighter spring weight which I would personally prefer. But the sounds of the jades I believe has a nicer note in my opinion (also I like the color of jade switch a little more)

if you get a custom one, you will have to screw on the standoffs and then attach it to the pcb

I don't know if this is obvious but I just got my Two HE and I have been using it for the past week
When it first came, the switches felt very "lubed", soft, cloudy, idk

After one week of usage, the ones I used the most, feel just "normal" or slightly above average, but that soft cloudy and smooth feeling is pretty much gone

It is very noticeable the difference against the keys I know I have rarely pressed (or not at all) during this period

Does this mean that the factory lube has worn off or something?
Does it mean that re-lubing would fix it or does it mean that lubing must be done kind of regularly?

Factory lube is very minimal

The lube doesn’t really go away. But I can kind of migrate

A hand lube job that covers the majority of the area with a very thin coat probably wouldn’t migrate as much. But it does seem to be the case that eventually you may have to relube over time.

You can’t hear it so much on the board but if you have a switch in your fingers up to your ear you can hear it. The switches are noticeably heavier which is expected. You’ll have to let me know your experience when you do yours.
