i think my stabs are gonna be plate mount, but I thought there were standoffs connecting the pcb to the plate itself, so I was hoping that would be enough stability to keep the pcb connected to the plate when its only held up by the sides with gasket

Truly sorry for the absolute dogshit lighting. Using the box stems from the Black Knights doesn’t make much sense because they are more loose in Gateron’s housings if that makes sense. This would work though, the black bottom of the Black Jades with the smokey gold flaked top housing of the Black Knights with Black Knights stems.

Your mileage may vary, I've had no issues with TX AP ( I own all variants ), but some people have had issues with them binding up and not returning because they're too tight in the plate

or a softer O-Ring with screws ins is fine too

and lastly, a thickness of 5mm is too thick I believe. I have a 3.5 and 4mm and the 4mm doesn’t really fit.
