I tested them outside of the board, not inside. Last time I pulled the board apart, I used the silicone dampener which I don’t really like, so I am swapping it out with the Poron foam. Either way, by the ear, the switches sounded a bit scratchy (but no spring ping). I think for 90% of people, re-Lubing isn’t gonna be necessary, but after relubing just the slides, it felt much smoother, so thats what I am doing

If you are talking compatibility, I did hotswap 3 switches and made sure that they work with the keyboard. I had no issues

I did a quick dummy check, as I got a bit worried. Turns out that, at the very least, I have a full set of 61 Functioning Sticky Rice switches. I didn’t test any of the extras from the 70 I ordered, nor did I attempt to mess with their settings in Wootility. I will work on that once I’m done lubing.

is there an HE keyboard that has arrow and F keys that has both joystick emulation (like wooting and keychron Q1 HE) and rapid trigger? wired or wireless doesnt matter as long as its at least 1k polling and 1k scan or both higher while having a decebt implementation.

i might decide to buy him a wooting two HE

60HE has mod tap which allows for tap a key to be an arrow and hold a key to be the key. And FN key + 1 = F1

But you should think abt mods like this, what problems or goals are you going for with these mods and how extreme they could be.
Of course mods like lubing would be the general base of mods (optional but most users would definitely do it for their switches and stabs) but other mods should be taken in consideration if that make sense.
