The whole point of the salvation was to make it a softer and flexy typing feel but on tray

Tray mount is notorious for being kinda stiff, and for the sound not being very even across the board

Compared to uniform sound on other mounting solutions

But other mounting solutions means non unibody cases

Here's the quick sound test of the Gateron Jades which I've just received today if anyone's intereted. Completely solved the clack 'problem' for me, thocc level is on par with my other keyboard which has Gateron Oil Kings on it. I recorded this on my Pixel 7P, sounds even deeper IRL.

Tofu Redux Case with its foam, stock steel plate, tape mod. I ordered different o-rings and M2x6 screws but they have not arrived, I'm not in a rush to burger mount since stock already sounds TOO good. Very little to no wobble, taking off the stock lekker switches was a pain since my puller was flimsy.

Set to 0.1 in Wootility and it's just as light for me but honestly you can barely tell between 0.1 and 0.4mm. I usally don't go that low anyway, it's just for sound and feel and this completely changes the experience. You don't 'lose' any performance

I considered PC plate before receiving this as well but once I tried the switches I don't bother, maybe I'm lazy taking them off again. If you're looking to make them quiter then go for it. In my case, it doesn't sound somewhat hollow, and plastic-y if that makes sense

If you have spare time for hand lube then go for it. I'd say factory lubing job is much better than L60. I tried samples of Geon and KS-20 White and Jades so far is superior
