I think that off centre thing is a non issue honestly

I have a feeling people mix up the off centre resistance with the more scrapy/catching issue that was happening when they added some guide things that were not up to spec on some batches of lekkers

It’s actually fairly normal for a lot of switch designs to feel a little more resistance if pressing extremely off center. The issue is only if there’s extreme catching that is happening when you’re doing that, but for some reason people started thinking any resistance difference was some actual fault

yeah many are like that sadly. I've seen similar from AMD support and even Bambu Labs doing similar, but both can be complete opposite sometime (I think it depends on how you approach them). But wooting seems consistently good which is really refreshing. We do the same as well with customers but it's a different market/pricing/etc.

gold screw is a standoff for the bottom screw hole underneath the spacebar. you don't really need it but it's up to you

most have gone for wooting's foam but you need to peel the bottom portion off

redux's foam is as thin as sunburnt skin peeling off
