the point of the mod was to reduce the top housing and stem contact noise (chatter) since the top housing is made out of polycarbonate.
The stem wobble is reduce (horizontally) depending on how many layers you do (which again we found that out like months later ever since it was a thing)

but again you still right it doesnt like "save" the lekkers but it did the job to reduce or eliminate what we dont want

That's a very common surcharge by parcel carriers unfortunately

The most likely reason why you haven't been charged that before isn't that other services don't levy that charge, but that the storefront from which you've purchased isn't able to interface with the parcel carrier's address system directly and is unaware of the fact that they will be billed more

It ends up just cutting into product margin, and in cases of low value shipments, may end up having the item shipped at a loss to the company

We used to offer an overnight shipping options in the US which was expensive but didn't really matter as long as we passed it through. But when we'd get hit with a rural delivery surcharge, an order that paid $50 for shipping would cost us $150+ to deliver...

I measured the resistance of the case grounding wire, the common ground of the PCBA and the shield of the connector and all are connected. So Wooting indeed connected the shield with ground on the device side.
If you don't have a multimeter or know what to measure then I strongly recommend to don't replace the cable with a custom one or create your own.

You have to get something to prevent it

Ok keep in mind you cant use the silicone dampener.
The reason why you its hard to insert is because of the plate foam.
The foam isnt compress enough for the oring to fit, the only solution to this is just have the oring sit around the module and over time it will compress. Once it is, insert the module again making sure the oring is pressed in between the plate and pcb all around then you should be good to go (dont press the module on the top down, i will be very mad at you) Another solution is not use any plate foam at all
its much easier to insert and you might like it who knows.

Hey everyone. First time customizing! I have a 60he. Ordered a tofu 60 redux case off the compatibility chart. It came with a FR4 ANSI Plate. I have my keyboard torn apart right now. I thought I’d put the switches in the plate, onto the white frame and put it back together… and the switches fit. But the stabilizers don’t fit on the new plate, and if I leave the stabs on the white plate, and try putting it together, the stabs are so far below the switches and the keycap will be lopsided. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong haha

Or are the stabs just going to be a very tight fit on the new plate?

I thought the improvements from the Raptors were fairly minor, less chattering is nice but that wobble still exist to a lesser extent. Soundwise I can't comment on, I feel like we only hear what we want to hear in this hobby. So whatever. But the best part is if you already own the Lekkers, place those stems into the Raptors. That is what the Raptors should have been like to begin with; much more solid feeling overall. So thanks to the dude who linked the stem switching.
