The stock ones are really solid and all recent decent brand stabs are honestly within 5% of each other. Proper tuning and lubing is the biggest thing to focus on.

I've owned or own almost all of them (honestly) so I'm just giving you the best advice I can and it just so happens to be the cheapest advice as well 😁

ive had this problem where if i dont use the spacebar after a while, then it will get stuck on the bottom out

so fixing stabilizers to the best of my ability is highest priority rn

and i only had the problem after i modded the stabilizers

i may have added (way) too much grease

99% of of the time, when a spacebar gets stuck on the bottom out, it's due to a small warp or tolerance issue. Do me a favor and flip your spacebar around for a while and see if it gets stuck.

since my thumb gets unconfortable hitting the not so sharp endge of the spacebar

so i flip it around so that i can type fore long sessions or smash the spacebar as much i like in osu mania 7k

OK, super lube comes in 2 flavors. A grease and an oil. Which one did you use?

Yes sir, the grease is going to be tough to remove. I'd wipe them as clean as possible and then wash in warm soapy water and wipe down again.

I bet you're right that it's the grease on the housings causing the problem.

Give it a shot, just get as much of the grease off as you can.

Pinch off some, roll into a small bean sized ball and then press into the space bar gaps ensuring you're far enough away from the stem areas to avoid the putty touching the switches

so it's well worth the effort if you want a good sound

just don't use masking tape since it's still scratchy after lubing it

So everytime you press the switch, it should feel like a linear even with the mod.
But if you're noticing some scratchiness or a little tactile bump, the lube should eliminate that and make it smoother

The reason why I'm not able to use the silicone PCB foam is because of my mounting style. My Gummy O'ring is not able to work with silicone because the pad needs to be compressed for the O'ring to fit. Overall it's extremely hard to get the O'ring to surround the module with the silicone for some reason (probably because it sticks out more than the pcb).

ur stabs are getting stuck because of a couple of reasons, sometimes on curtain keycap sets, the spacebar is warped resulting in really tight pull on both ends, ive had this with a keycap set that would get stuck when returning
