lubing your switches makes the most difference imo, it's pretty easy as well but you need the tools and lube, and time

nah it just includes two cables with a quick switch thingy, so you can basically have the coiled one plugged in your main pc and the other shorter one on your work laptop for example, and then there's no need to unplug the cable from the keyboard itself so you can't accidentally rip the usb port off from the kb

The screw just wouldn't line up with the hole that I had to loosen up all the screws and slowly shift the board around to get it in

then shift the board back to line up with the port. I'm probably using these terminology wrong but I hope this makes sense

Correction, it might be screwed into that hole but its not holding the PCB down at all. The only way it would have screwed into that hole is by screwing it all the way through the PCB hole and the screw head coming out the other side

Its an unknown as I dont own that specific case but I do own a number of cases with brass bottoms/inserts and typically the brass weight is just that "a weight". Its purpose is to make the case heavier and not to change the sound. In fact once you add dampening materials (foam, silicone, fiberfill) the brass wont likely have any impact at all on the sound.

I also have a solid brass case and that does sound different than an aluminum case but it also weighs 3-4x as much

ok so i lubed my switches but i feel like doing it again. i have a pom plate and diff keycaps, and diff stabs

You dont really have to lube your switches again it can last for quite awhile

But if you want to you have to clean the rest of the lube out properly again

And then re lube it
