I've currently put them on my exclusion list and the overall speed seems to have greatly improved (both latency and bandwidth). Tor also seems to favor those countries, regardless of a clean config or restart (which makes sense I guess, considering these are many guards, relays and exits in those countries due to the vast amount of VPS').

Halo infinite had to also do away with phantom wreckages as the old gen console couldn't handle it. Engine had quite a few bugs delaying the game a year, and roughly 2/3s of content had to be removed last minute because they couldn't get things working on the older Xbone.
It sucks if you can't afford next gen, but also it sucks for those that can seeing great titles recieving big downgrades in order to maintain compatibility.
Also here's hoping a switch 2 comes out using next gen graphics soon
