Static pressure is all about being mounted to something that obstructs - like a radiator or a thick dust filter.

Airflow is all about blowing air around in an empty void. Typically fans are either marketed as one or the other for mounting on radiators or somewhere like the back of the case as exhaust where there's nothing to require more pressure.

Well, mostly. If you have things like drive cages right behind your fans, or a very cluttered case, you may want higher static pressure to improve air flow past the restrictions. I use high static pressure fans on the side where I have the drive rack in my NAS for example. I had a 3C temperature difference on the spinning rust compared to a set of regular case fans.

(Also probably helped by me adding more exhaust fans and thus lowering pressure inside the case, it's a relatively tight case with few places for free airflow into it.)

Ahh. Well RAM is RAM. As long as the stated specs are alright it doesn't really matter who made the RAM. The RAM chips themselves are from one of three? companies for everyone. 🙂

Hard to say if they're AMAZING RAM based on that information. BUT - For gaming it doesn't REALLY matter. We might talk 1-5FPS difference at most to amazing RAM sticks.

Chances are if they some day need 32GB they just buy 2x16 themselves. Or go straight to DDR5 and need new RAM at that point any way.

Inverted layouts are more frequent these days. I think because M-ITX systems are often dual mounted into multisystem cases, which frequently are inverted mount.

I've pretty much just thrown the secondary in there until I get the dedicated GPU and water cooling set up for it. Right now, it's just running the iGPU and a stock cooler.
