cleaning the cpu fixed my ram issue and installing proxmox with btrfs twice (once on the actual disks and once only the sdcard) and removing some duplicate partitions using fdisk gave me the option to boot from the sd that then access the hba disks for btrfs after some mounting and chrooting

On top of that they're in obscenely high demand because literally everybody enterprise so the production capacity was super needed.

Only time you'd end up seeing Chia really hurt prices is if you saw a bitcoin style 2017 boom on profits.

GPUs just don't hold the same appeal to most enterprise that reliable storage does.

for me it was install proxmox twice using btrfs once on the hba once only on sd

delete boot parts from hba disks

delete btrfs part from sd

then just mount all, chroot into the btrfs and use proxmox-boot-tool to fix the sd boot entries

now it works wonderfully
