Q: Will Artemis be cross platform?

A: Maybe. The core is written in .NET Core and can be compiled for Linux with minimal changes.
The UI is a different story, it is written in WPF which is a Windows-only platform. Artemis can function without the UI though and a different UI based on cross-platform frameworks can be put in place as well. I don't currently have any plans to do this but perhaps when Artemis 2 has matured enough and is feature complete, it would be a nice endeavour.

Tbh the notch on the MacBook is not really noticeable after a while, especially with most apps ignoring it, but there definitely are cases in which it is, especially games choosing to implement fullscreen while having data on the top, like war thunder with point progress bar on top which is quite crucial. But also the aspect ratio makes 21:9 and other wide videos look kinda weird imo since they don’t take up a lot of space vertically

Yeah, but it’s still higher w than M1 GPU. Higher power 3080 would very likely do better, still considering form factor and power consumption M1 seems nice
