Both monitor and mobo are providing power to 20 th pin, creating “short circuit” and also causing things getting powered when they should not.
Things like 19 pin cables exist for this reason. Still the fact that the spec works like this and can cause so many issues…

Thats not how short circuits even form. You can add as many power providers as you want, no current will flow since there is no voltage difference between them. If anything you would be able to consume more current from them both without issues. Then it should be standard practice to add current limiters and safety guards. Fuses, diodes, transistors, zener diodes, and whatnot.

reseating memory once fixed a weird issue I had, my system simply would not boot cold, and I had to use a hair dryer before it booted. Reverting memory back to stock did not help even.
Turns out all I had to do was blow some compressed air and reseat the memory.

As for stress testing it's not just length but also the tests themselves. Not all tests will find all errors.

Basically I had weird issues with my system not being able to post every once in a while, which turned to every morning in the winter.
I found out that warming it with a hair dryer fixed it.

After multiple tests in total running for hour and half and then normal use. Next time it crashed every time in less than 15 minutes. If instability was so high it would crash sooner the first time.

Not sure atm, did not ran that for long time. But last time I got really stable cl17 4000mhz on ram, 54,53,52,51… on cpu, and 16.5 on iGPU. So it should not be just unstable.

I mean, only two things that got me to that temps were benchmark and tnt carpet in mc.
And linpack was unable to find errors even when other softwares were able to sooner by a lot. Or at least crash. Linpack found no errors just ran at 98 c time to time. And also second day it refused to launch.

Personally what I did in terms of stability tests on my current system (cpu + mem) is the following:

12 hours of prime95 small fft's

2 hours of linpack

2 hours of stressapptest (for memory)

It’s cable that’s the issue. Can’t find any vesa certified one on stock nearby, and ones that aren’t certified may have the issue. Monitor and mobo do follow the spec - spec says both should output 3.3v. Issue is the cable
