reef tundra
#

at all

#

get banned anyway

flint kayak
#

nah they aint getting another the comp scene is massive

young pecan
#

Ubisoft has a harder time manually banning players than R6 itself does.

reef tundra
#

I remember a streamer got hit in a ban wave mid stream. twice

young pecan
#

And the sad part is that R6 gets a SHITLOAD of false flags.

flint kayak
#

^^^

#

this why im scared

#

any other game idc

young pecan
#

Dude, R6s false flagging doesn't work like that.

#

It randomly flags and bans you for doing too well sometimes.

#

It's held together with spit and dreams, maybe a little glue.

#

Just playing R6 puts you at risk for permaban.

reef tundra
#

the anti-cheat is as effective as just randomly banning people

young pecan
#

^

reef tundra
#

Would be less controversial aswell

flint kayak
#

yh thats what i mean the keeb is too good and i become a god

#

wooting op

young pecan
#

Lmfao

#

I remember a friend of mine used to teamkill ALL the time. Every game he’d kill one or two people at some stage.

#

Didn’t get banned for it, no.

reef tundra
#

If they cant be bothered to balance for hardware, its their fault

young pecan
#

What got him banned was doing his placements in ranked and getting banned for having a constant 8KD.

#

Was just good at the game, very accurate, very fast reaction times, etc.

#

Was so good that the anticheat permabanned him.

flint kayak
#

tho tbf really good siege players vs silvers to the untrained eye is not much different

reef tundra
#

Worst part is support being as useful as emailing yourself

flint kayak
#

I've looked and rebinding mouse to a controller is a grey area, nice. And they used to be support for exactly what I'm doing but they did a ubi and took the easy way out and added a delay between switching between both.

#

imo there should be at least a really primitive rebinder in wootility to rebind mice to get around this issue tho wooting dont do mice so Ik why its a non issue oof

true quest
#

mice keyboard crossover would be nice

#

used it a lot with corsair

reef tundra
#

You mean in the sense that the keyboard emulates the mice?

flint kayak
#

no that the controller buttons can be binded to the mice

#

this for mice

#

in wootilty

true quest
#

mice support would need to be implemented first

reef tundra
#

Hmm, this would have to be done at the OS side.

flint kayak
#

ik why they don't but it would be a nice QOL improvement

#

omg#

#

imagine wooting mice

#

an anolge mouse button would be interesting

reef tundra
#

They exist, not by wooting, out there.

flint kayak
#

?!

#

whats the best iyo?

reef tundra
#

Main feature of having the mouse in the first place is movement. The buttons are mostly justifing losing an entire side of the keyboard in buttons

astral haven
#

oh my god steam
im pretty sure there is only like 1 real account with that many games smh

timid chasm
#

There's a couple

#

it's a competition for some

#

I'm amazed there isn't somebody who has every game on steam

young pecan
#

That would require them to own copious amounts of porn games and Train Simulator.

#

Train sim is costly af.

reef tundra
#

Dont try that in Germany. Meta in germany is shit

#

Has to do with adult games and violent ones

#

Isnt train sim the most expensive game, given you add all the DLCs, at one point? Could still be.

#

Was in the thousands range

#

ehh.. how even

vapid zodiac
#

because including anything in the base game is overrated

astral haven
#

pretty sure they started for legal reasons

#

then continued because money

crisp granite
#

pr0n games, hell yes

#

train sim...damn bro, I've burned so many holes in my wallet already

#

I could use the thing as a strainer

#

but train sim is too far

crisp granite
#

neè ways

young pecan
#

The only game I know of that’s more expensive is Star Citizen, and that game is hilariously overvalued.

crisp granite
#

I'm back from my nanobot injection

#

and I haven't died yet

reef tundra
#

Which weapon did you unlock?

young pecan
#

Mate, a friend of mine got the Rona a while ago.

crisp granite
#

:|

young pecan
#

He just bitched about it for a couple weeks.

#

No real issues.

crisp granite
#

yeah

#

lucky

#

some people just up and die

young pecan
#

Yee.

crisp granite
#

the strain here is so vicious, you'll feel fine one day, feel crumby that evening

#

and never wake up again

young pecan
#

Remember, the Rona is horrible, but it’s got some pretty damn good value to it.

#

It’s been handing out a lot of Darwin awards to the antivaxxers and antimaskers.

crisp granite
#

true that

#

but that's a single fleck of gold in a pile of horseshit

young pecan
#

It’ll sound horrible, but I’m ok with that gold.

#

Darwin awards are too rare with the sheer amount of idiots we have, sadly.

reef tundra
#

But someone died taken the shots, doctors concluded the cause of death being shoking on his food. But we know what the real cause is..

young pecan
#

rolls eyes Wake up, sheeple.

crisp granite
#

anyway, arm is swollen

young pecan
#

The rona kills all.

crisp granite
#

and I feel like shit

#

but that's to be expected

young pecan
#

Bullet holes caused by the rona.

#

Naturally occurring bullet holes.

reef tundra
#

The real cause was not being alive anymore

young pecan
#

@crisp granite On a scale of 1 to 10, higher being better, how shit do you feel?

crisp granite
#

better meaning worse?

#

or...better to watch?

young pecan
#

Better meaning better, worse meaning worse.

#

Low bad.

crisp granite
#

about a 1-2 then

reef tundra
#

1 meaning not at all, 9 meaning the nanomachine is defect

young pecan
#

Oof.

crisp granite
#

perfectly fine, just a bit under the weather

young pecan
#

Very pog.

#

Could be worse.

reef tundra
#

Means the immunesystem is working

crisp granite
young pecan
#

You could be like my friendo that got it and felt like utter shit for 2 weeks.

#

The jokes made were legendary.

crisp granite

young pecan

Everything can be addictive?

crisp granite
#

well yes

reef tundra
#

Define addictive

young pecan
#

Especially things that make you feel good? Like almost every recreational drug does?

crisp granite
#

but the active ingredients aren't addictive on their own

reef tundra
#

physically, phycological

young pecan
#

shrugs Oh well, you just add one step.

crisp granite
#

it's more use and effects that get ya with weed

reef tundra
#

Physical means that withdrawl is going to cause physical effects or even death

young pecan
#

That’s such a shit line to draw. “WeLl iTS noT adDiCtiVE1!1!1”...

crisp granite
#

you're right

young pecan
#

Bruh, people have running addictions because the reward cycle makes them feel good.

crisp granite
#

there's someone out there who can't stop eating her damn wall

young pecan
#

Full withdrawal symptoms and everything.

crisp granite
#

so, yeah

young pecan
#

How tf does weed somehow get to escape that? It does not.

crisp granite
#

if someone can get addicted to eating their own home, then yeah

#

very possible to rely on weed as a crutch

#

and slip into dependency

reef tundra
#

Some are addicted to just the ritual of doing the drugs not the drug itself

young pecan
#

Bruh, do I need to go over how dopamine works?

crisp granite
#

it only happened to me before because I'm weak willed

#

fuck off

#

;-;

young pecan
#

Not to you, Doge.

#

I am aware you already know that stuff.

#

But man, that woman who gets happy by eating bricks.

crisp granite
#

nah mate, I relied on that Dope-amine release from leaf before

young pecan
#

Literally eating bricks.

#

Like, pulling bricks out of houses and just eating them.

crisp granite
#

...

#

yes

young pecan
#

I just...

crisp granite
#

PICA

young pecan
#

How does one start that?

#

‘Hmmmm, I wonder what this tastes like...’

crisp granite
#

it can also just be mental trauma

#

that someone escapes by eating shit that you really shouldn't eat

reef tundra
#

Dopamine regulates the expected joy/motivation in the risk-reward analysis it does and rewarding the brain for good results to learn it.

crisp granite
#

if the dopamine is fucked up beforehand

#

it makes sense that someone could get a dopamine dose from eating a brick

vapid zodiac
#

ooooh what did i miss?

crisp granite
#

just humans being humans

reef tundra
#

You either have get ADHD or psychosis if dopamine is wack

young pecan
#

@reef tundra Basically, yeah. It’s very easy to get a reinforcing reward cycle from doing just about any substance, drugs or no.

vapid zodiac
#

why not both?

crisp granite
#

some days, I wonder if I got both

#

I got the first

#

no doubt

young pecan
#

Can confirm ADHD fucks with dopamine dosing.

#

Absolutely went through that.

crisp granite
#

yep

#

when I was 4 to about the age of 12

#

the only thing that made me happy was playing with legos and playing pokemon white

young pecan
#

Remember that girl that Pavlov conditioned herself so she literally had a dopamine clicker?

reef tundra
#

Too little and ADHD is there, too much and psychosis peeks its head

vapid zodiac
#

lego fun time

crisp granite
#

and I would be unable to concentrate, sit still, or really do anything otherwise

young pecan
#

Girl trainer her brain to release shitloads of dopamine on hearing a button click.

#

Actually self Pavlov conditioning.

crisp granite
#

I always had legos in my pocket and my DS lite in my bag

young pecan
#

What a fucking chad. She clearly had the idea of how to win life.

reef tundra
#

Technically called delirium if its substance induced right?

crisp granite
#

that ain't healthy at all

young pecan
#

Ikr.

#

But y’know what? She solved happiness on demand.

crisp granite
#

still

#

bad idea

#

just...no

young pecan
#

Mhmm.

#

Still did it.

#

Self Pavlov conditioning.

crisp granite
#

body chemistry is not something you fuck with

#

unless it's already out of whack

vapid zodiac
#

idk, having happiness at all is better than none...

young pecan
#

Iirc she did it specifically to just be able to make herself happy whenever she wants.

crisp granite
young pecan
#

Apparently she went through basically all of school with zero issues because she was constantly being hit with shitloads of dopamine.

#

Just take the clicker out in class, tap it a few times, and she’s flooded with dopamine.

reef tundra
#

For depression its seratonin thats being wack

young pecan
#

Lmfao

#

Pavlov conditioning is so goddamn easy.

vapid zodiac
#

it can be more than just dopamine...

crisp granite
vapid zodiac
#

bipolar goes brrrr

young pecan
#

Lmao

crisp granite
#

then I will train myself to get a dopamine boost whenever I see titties

#

then whenever I feel down

#

tits

#

and everything gets better

young pecan
#

Plot twist, you already do that.

vapid zodiac
#

that... can get problematic

young pecan
#

No joke, btw.

#

Hardwired into our genetics.

crisp granite
#

well then

young pecan
#

It’s a whole choosing good genetics at sight thing for our primordial ancestors.

vapid zodiac
#

particularly if you train it wrong...

crisp granite
#

lets tweak the signals...a bit

young pecan
#

But stuff like big tits, curvy figure, symmetrical body shape, big muscles, wide V shaped torso, defined muscle groups, etc.

#

That’s stuff that you’re genetically forced into finding appealing.

#

Basically it’s so you can quickly find a good genetic partner to continue the species.

crisp granite
#

sounds quite pog

#

luckily I fucked that up too

#

because I struggle to speak anyway, but the moment you throw sexual attraction into the mix...

#

I just shut down

young pecan
#

As for why it’s attractive? Just the more healthy genetics typically show features like that, so it’s better for evolution.

#

Really interesting stuff.

#

Good facial structure especially is a biggie. Nice symmetry with no obvious flaws in the underlying structure of the skull. All of that just combines into the ‘beautiful’ package.

#

Study got done on it that was 20,000 strong a few years ago, clinically significant.

crisp granite
#

aight then

#

good to know that I'm hardwired to get a stiffie the moment I see sizable tits

young pecan
#

Doesn’t much matter anymore tho, since we’re past evolution for the most part as a species.

#

But yes, basically.

crisp granite
#

yep

#

anyway

#

I'm gonna consume some nut milk and get some sleep

#

or at least try to

#

and some homemade rice pudding

#

mmm

#

rice pudding

young pecan
#

I should also mention that individual preference applies. For the most part it’s the genetically good features that get the most average attention.

#

So have some of that info.

#

Bet you never look at a human the same way again.

crisp granite
#

nah mate

#

I was always like that

#

I'm just glad that I got some reassurance that I'm not a creep

#

and that it's genetic

young pecan
#

Mmmm, but understanding the why of it all. That doesn’t give you new perspective?

crisp granite
#

an eye opener

young pecan
#

Ah.

reef tundra
#

Looks are only relevant if you need to meet people. After that its not giving murder vibes and interresting to talk to

young pecan
#

...

crisp granite
#

I usually avoid eye contact and try to not speak if I can

reef tundra
#

Confidence helps a lot

young pecan
#

@reef tundra Good to know you read nothing of what I said, but ok.

crisp granite
reef tundra
#

Fake it till you make it

crisp granite
#

nah

#

I'll just be myself

young pecan
#

Y’know what, I’ll give more info. The genetically good thing also applies to other stuff. Pheromones, the persons voice, how they talk, etc etc.

reef tundra
#

You just have to be confidently yourself

young pecan
#

The generally understood to be ‘good’ voices? Damn right it’s pleasing as fuck when Morgan Freeman talks.

crisp granite
#

true that

young pecan
#

Or any VA for Optimus Prime.

crisp granite
#

Morgan has a voice like honey on warm bread

young pecan
#

That voice comes out like fucking butter.

crisp granite
#

12/10 would fuck

young pecan
#

Mm, what’s another good example...

#

Master Chief.

crisp granite
young pecan
#

Cortana as well.

crisp granite
#

...

young pecan
#

At least H3 and H4 Cortanas.

crisp granite
#

I now realize that either my preferences changed to match my ex

#

or she just happened to check all the boxes beforehand

young pecan
#

Lmfao

#

Real eye opener, isn’t it?

crisp granite
#

thanks to you

young pecan
#

Lmaooo

crisp granite
#

I got stuff to actually think about tonight

young pecan
#

wheeeze

#

Never wondered why the jock stereotype is often real?

crisp granite
#

thanks mate

young pecan
#

Or why in every school ever there’s always a hot chick group?

crisp granite
#

nah

#

the gems are always normal

reef tundra
#

Tribalism

young pecan
#

Mhmm, but why the consistent social dynamic in every school on earth?

#

Tribalism, and that lovely genetic thing.

crisp granite
#

because human is similar to ape

#

and ape driven by pp compass

#

not logic

young pecan
#

Also ever notice that every public figure on the news are ALWAYS symmetrical?

#

Weatherman and reporter etc. Allof them will be symmetrical.

reef tundra
#

Makes decision making on whether the other person might kill us or greet us easier

young pecan
#

Drives views up of they’re pleasing to look at.

young pecan
#

That too.

crisp granite
#

have you tried doing both?

#

say hi

#

then break out the stabbin' loisence and git stabbin'

reef tundra
#

Nah, need the other stabbin' loisence for that

young pecan
#

I mean shit tho.

reef tundra
#

I may only shank them first

young pecan
#

Morgan Freeman has the most buttery voice.

#

It’s beautiful.

crisp granite
#

ok

#

Aeon

reef tundra
#

Then do voice training

crisp granite
#

while you get wet listening to morgan's soothing voice

#

I'm gonna eat some pudding and crash

young pecan
#

Bruh, don’t say you don’t as well.

crisp granite
#

laterz

young pecan
#

Everyone does.

#

It’s Morgan fucking Freeman.

reef tundra
#

Imma kink shame you

#

reason: irrational decision

young pecan
#

Idk tho, his voice is just weirdly pleasing.

#

Like David Attenborough.

reef tundra
#

hmmm

#

Pretty gay to only like men voices.

#

And being gay is ok

#

But I dont have any favorite celebrities for their voice alone

young pecan
#

shrugs I don't really have much of a preference toward voices outside of the crazily good ones.

#

Off the top of my head there's a good few, 20 or so.

#

Pretty even 50/50 split across the board, just the really famous ones I mentioned.

#

Great example of that would be this woman on YT that made a cover for We All Lift Together and it’s absolutely glorious. I give that video 11/10.

AMD submitted patent for "GAMING SUPER RESOLUTION" in November 18, 2019

cursive summit
#

An article about a patent so why not just cut right to the chase and show the patent

reef tundra
#

You see the patent number

ashen spindle
#

because then people instantly see what it's about and know if it's relevant to their interest instead of having to read a patent abstract screenshot to even know whats going on?

#

AMD Gaming Super Resolution A new patent featuring super resolution technology has just been discovered in the United States Patent Application Office.  We have been waiting for a long time for AMD to deliver an update on its super-resolution technology. Even since RDNA2 graphics cards were announced, AMD kept convincing us that their FidelityFX...

#

much better esp with discord imbeds

cursive summit
#

Ah yes I wonder what a "gaming super resolution" by "Advanced Micro Devices" entails

reef tundra
#

Isnt that the goal of an abstract? summarise the details so you know if you should read further?

ashen spindle
#

sure but with an article link you don't need to click on the picture to be able to read what it even says

#

plus you're not cutting to the chase and show the patent, it's just a screenshot of the abstract so if someone wants to read more they'd still have to look for themselves instead of just clicking the provided link peepoShrug

Scalpers: Exist
Gamers: In the casket

AMD: Real shit. Time to add anti-scalper methods
Meanwhile AMD:

crisp granite
#

I wish NVidia and AMD would just sneak in updates to drivers that would just make mining impossible

#

and then prevent backtracking to earlier drivers

#

would allow them to sell mining cards

ashen spindle
#

ok so people just revert to an older drive

#

bam, mining limiter useless

cursive summit
ashen spindle
#

you cant prevent backtracking

cursive summit
#

Apparently "increases performance" or some shit

#

Or was that with Windows updates?

crisp granite
#

¯_(ツ)_/¯

cursive summit
#

I read something about just downgrading to stock version and perf went up

crisp granite
#

NVidia and AMD have ways

#

both software and hardware level

ashen spindle
#

what ways do they have?

crisp granite
#

like baking hash limiters into silicon

cursive summit
#

You can't really doing shit to hardware level without touching the chip physically

ashen spindle
#

yeah, hardware limitations are the only way

#

anything else wouldn't do anything

crisp granite
#

but they need to be harsher

cursive summit
#

If that was a thing, Nintendo would have patched Erista YEARS ago lul

crisp granite
#

half rate won't be enough

#

it would need to be like...5% of the original rate

#

to make mining cards actually worth it

ashen spindle
#

not really possible without doing it in a way that can be easily circumvented or hurt actual gaming performance

if(etherium){*performance--;}

@zenith sonnet my motto has been: organic meat, organic milk, organic bananas and organic coffee 😄 rest is ok non-organic

zenith sonnet

Organic whole grain is a good one, too

For processed grain it doesn't really matter much

reef tundra

Just eat the raw kernels

hehe

fickle ore

@zenith sonnet grain for what? what do you make of it?

fickle ore
#

@zenith sonnet ah ok yeah true

zenith sonnet
#

Buying regional is more important than buying organic, though
i don't need subsidised milk from the alps or northern Germany, or eggs from the Netherlands, when I can spend a little more and get regional products

#

Or grapes from India or South Africa, when they grow here

reef patrol
young pecan
#

Defo worth 900 USD.

#

Completely custom parts that Dell filled with bloatware with incredibly stupid design.

reef patrol
#

Business as usual.

young pecan
#

For example, the CPU cooler is screwed directly into the case and is a load bearing structure for the board itself.

#

1000% good design choices, Dell clearly fuckin' nailed it. rolls eyes

reef patrol
# zenith sonnet ???

Centralized production in a climate that is better can mean less overall emissions and harm to soil so on.

Growing stuff in Spain that other european countries could grow still is (last I checked) more efficient.

young pecan
#

Also friendly reminder that the board is non standard and will not fit in anything outside of that case which is bad for airflow.

#

And the PSU is also non standard.

#

And the cooler.

#

And the case. :L

#

And everything but the CPU and RAM.

reef patrol
#

Dell are the worst, HP second. I think ASUS and Lenovo are slowly becoming more and more "standard" compliant.

zenith sonnet
young pecan
#

Even more, Dell's bloatware uses 30% GPU on a 1660.

zenith sonnet
#

Hell, I will argue that Spanish grapes are worse, even before the transport

old marlin

like at all

#

about that whole system

#

that is what lenovo has been doing for ages

#

hardware wise

reef patrol
#

Naw. Even Lenovo try and stick with standard PSU cables 😄

old marlin
#

haven't had contact with dell and hp machines from that era

young pecan
#

Lenovo at least doesn't tend to put weird server looking PSUs in desktops.

old marlin

assuming they have been doing that as well

young pecan

But not quite a 2U or a 3U.

Yes.

very much not the case

old marlin

a P300 mainboard

young pecan
#

Isn't that a standard form factor?

reef patrol
#

That board looks ancient.

young pecan

Looks like a weird mini ATX type board.

Whichever ATX type tag would even apply to that.

Almost looks DTX.

That's mATX ish

young pecan

reef patrol
#

Hey hey - Back to my previous question, Yama.

old marlin
#

they like to do it like dell in that system

young pecan
#

They're beating Dell.

reef patrol
#

Where's that board from? 😛

old marlin
#

P300

young pecan
#

At least the board doesn't just have a weird bit sticking out of it for the front IO.

old marlin
#

wrote it right after you asked

reef patrol
#

That's a workstation popcornowo

young pecan
#

It's less cancerous. :P

old marlin
#

case and board are made for each other only

young pecan
#

One could theoretically place that board in another system.

#

Cannot even dream of doing that with Dell's stupidity.

old marlin
reef patrol
#

Also last I checked the P300 was a flat case. Not particularly normal.

fickle ore
#

@zenith sonnet yeah locally produced stuff is best, especially within eu with stricter laws and concerning the poisons they use

reef patrol
#

Exactly.

old marlin
#

are you sure lenovo is better

#

that is the current thinkcentre

young pecan
#

For a clearly custom solution? Yeh.

#

Dell's making a desktop here, not a custom workstation.

#

A gaming desktop.

#

For gamers.

reef patrol
young pecan
#

For the express purpose of gaming.

reef patrol
#

And yes - We were discussing GAMING PCs here.

#

Not random workstations.

young pecan
#

Somehow I don't treat those as the same thing.

#

Workstation =/= gaming

reef patrol
#

I genuinely don't remember the last time I saw a custom PSU cable solution from a gaming PC from any prebuilt OEM except Dell.

young pecan
#

If Dell wanted a custom workstation? Fair enough.

#

But a gaming PC?

reef patrol
#

Not to say they haven't skimped on cables.

young pecan
#

The fuck?

old marlin
reef patrol

The HP I bought with a 3080 only had exactly the cables it needed. No room for expansion.

Do we have some PC experts here? I have a weird problem with my PSU & GPU... below u see configurations that can boot (GreenTick) and some which dont (RedTick).

corsair AX850 + rx 6700 xt + mainboard -> RedTick
corsair AX850 + mainboard -> GreenTick
corsair AX1000 + rx 6700 xt + mainboard -> RedTick
corsair AX1000 + mainboard -> GreenTick
--> GPU connected with two Type-4 PCIe 8pin to 2x 6+2pin cables or with two 8pin to 1x 6+2pin. Both methods result in the same results above.

other be quiet psu + rx 6700 xt + mainboard -> GreenTick
other be quiet psu + mainboard -> GreenTick
--> GPU connected with 12pin to 2x 6+2pin

I just cant figure out what am i doing wrong... i can clearly say its not the pci slot for the gpu, neither the gup it self. It has to be somethign with the GPU in combination with the PSU. Just cant find out what it is. Does anyone have an idea? it has to be something pretty dumb :/

#

And they're not mandated to be loud, just possible to hear while in traffic. pepeLaugh

#

As opposed to deadly silent.

zenith sonnet
#

So, tires make noise
About 70-75 dB. That's plenty loud

#

It's also what you usually hear when a car rolls through a city street. Not the engine

reef patrol
#

I uhh... No.

#

A quiet EV makes nowhere near as much noise as a run of the mill modern petrol car when going down a street.

zenith sonnet

The loudest thing at those speeds are the tires

If that was the case both car types would have the same noise level.

That is not the case here. You can barely hear tires anyway.

your expectations of what people think they want is too high vs what they do consume

Well yeah that's what everyone understands.. what's a frametime?

#

The drooling masses only need the one number which is FPS

Are there not other content providers who do frametimes? People who are looking for that level of detail are typically familiar with those who show it vs those who do not. Not everybody needs to break it down to the nitty gritty. Avg FPS and 1% lows is usually enough for the typical gamer.

#

blessed to display frametimes?

#

Also, so blessed that NVIDIA blacklisted them until they got backlash

TPU does them
GN sometimes does them as well

Frametimes are weird. I still dont understand why 6900 XT has better frametimes at 8K than a 3090 (despite slightly lower pure fps)

#

At 8K, the 3090 finally has more raw bandwidth for sure but still (at 5K a 6900 XT still has massively higher actual raw bandwidth)

#

Ultimately, NO reviewers test CPUs or GPUs perfectly

#

HU is decent. Nothing more though

The most peculiar part is that the 6000 series have stable frame time graphs where other cards struggle

you don't need to see frametimes, 1% lows are enough

The RX 6000 driver is not ... more efficient. Its better in DX12 and Vulkan in CPU limited scenarios, true, but in most (not all!) DX9, 10, OpenGL, and DX11 scenarios it is less efficient.

what would be a better choice on average. 6800XT or 3070?

dry tendon
#

definitely 6800 XT. Its more of a 3080 competitor than a 3070 one

#

6800 XT is overall slightly weaker in RT, true, but due to sheer brute power it STILL sometimes beats the 2080 Ti and 3070 even in RT.

do you have the like 5000$ to buy both?

okay it's closer to 2400ish but it'll feel like 5000
