My attempted explanation is that 500 > 1000hz because it creates less after images. So the screen is more clear of mouse trails (increase visual clarity)
Theoretically 1000hz is obviously better than 500hz because less minimum latency.
What do you guys think? Also based on my 10+ benchmarks 500Hz BFI ON < 1000Hz BFI ON. This is only true when BFI is OFF

Also attempted to test in other cursor-based game like League and it feels the same way (although League doesn't have concrete scores so it's possible to be placebo)

I'm thinking of taking an old computer and downloading a linux distro onto it called lakka, which is basically just a distro that lets you turn your pc or other mini computer into a glorified arcade cabinet

And I'm wondering if there would be a way to essentially set up the equivalent of steam's "remote play together" for such a device, such that I could play old games on it with a friend, but through the internet.

Like, basically a way to send controller inputs through the internet to my computer from some other place, and get the system to recognize those inputs as a second "local" controller for all intents and purposes

Right now the margin of distributors and stores are really high.

I really would not mind AMD and Nvidia raising their prices as long as there is a shortage.

Basically the whole chain does not compete on price anymore.

board partners are happy to sell their highest margin models, distrbutors can sell their stock anyway as can stores.

I personally think it's perfectly fair if in situations like this AMD just increases their selling price / msrp and slowly drops it as the market normalises.

Honestly I mostly just dislike the way Nvidia operates with their drive to control everything. AMD and Intel are much better in that regard. That would be my reason to prefer them over Nvidia. Seems firefox has some sort of search tab function as well, but only once your tab bar overflows.
