so 99% of times when someone talks about unified memory they just use an apple buzzword and not whats actually happening

longer answer: its a combination of things. they used to have a more advanced node than anyone else by paying tsmc the most, so they had better silicon even if otherwise the core would be 100% the same, then on top everything is focused on a mobile design, so they can go in without worrying about having to support a 256 cores server with the same cores, faster memory subsystem by just making it a wider bus so you have higher bandwidth, all a prioritization of different market needs

you have limited resources (time, engineers, chip size etc.) so you need to focus it on what you think matters the most

Hey ladies/gents, what are good resources for teaching yourself the world of building/engineering circuits, pcbs, etc for automation and robotic purposes?

Little background: Im a Junior ME student, i planned to minor in EE with a focus for robotics but that would extend my graduation progress so i decided to teach it to myself. My main interest is in the robotics/tech industry but the foundation of the mechanical side is why i went with Mechanical Engineering because of how versatile it is and because of cars haha.

I have invested in a 3D Printer recently the Bambu P2S [Will be using PLA as my interface layer and first use PETG as my material then switch to ASA] and I also own a soldering/hot air/rework stations with knowledge of repairing technology and wiring (also used to add modchips to my xbox 360s to rgh/jtag them)

I just ordered myself: 2x arduino r4, 3x esp32 (for later), breadboards, jumper wires, solid core wires, electronics kit [involving leds, resistors, switches, buttons, capacitors, potentiometers, etc], few metal geared servo motors, some mini dc motor, few other things so i can start learning this because until i get myself an internship this is my own way to gain my experience

Looking to just learn versatility in types of methods with different problems i can face or just different objectives per project

Trying to see anyone here has a good guide or just any kind of information that I can learn from, like whats are the types of languages to focus on, etc
