I'm considering purchasing a set of Gateron Magnetic Spark switches for my Wooting keyboard (specifically the 80HE).
I know these are Hall Effect (HE) switches, but I wanted to confirm their compatibility with the Wooting PCB and firmware.
Has the team or the community tested the Gateron Magnetic Spark switch? If so, are there any known issues regarding:

1. General compatibility (Do they work?)
2. Analog reading accuracy (Especially since their total travel is 3.2mm)
3. Rapid Trigger functionality?
   Any insights or links to existing reviews/guides would be greatly appreciated!

The industry lives and dies off of people buying games. Sure, risks are sometimes taken that work out but equally, there's plenty of things that don't work. An EGS funding deal when it was already established these games don't really sell wasn't exactly a smart idea. Same for Sony pouring all that money into live service titles because they thought the PlayStation badge would carry everything like we were still living in the PS4 days.

Sooner or later, if people aren't buying your games, the jobs will be lost.

Especially in a highly saturated market with a really low barrier to entry for publication.

Given that Epic haven't published another game in the same way, you can argue it's a failed experiment. Two years to become profitable isn't exactly much to write home about in comparison to the how well it reviewed and the awards it won, there's clearly a disconnect somewhere. You could also point towards the lack of a physical console release.

As for Remedy, in hindsight you'd look at games like Expedition 33 and realise that there probably was an alternative funding and self-publishing model they could've taken to release Alan Wake 2 in a way they control. Hindsight is a funny though and hopefully they don't end up needing a private equity buyout or consolidation into a traditional big publisher to keep making games into the future. Looks at FBC: Firebreak.

That works under the assumption epic as a publisher have the goal to make money, if they can break even or do almost do that and bring more people onto EGS that alone is worth the same or more as marketing money.

and no you can not look at E33 and compare it, remedy has like 3x the staff size in house they could not have just found some other way to publish it, at best maybe with extreme cuts to the game so it wouldn't have been the same

the reason the m1 succeeded was because intel was doing bad, and apple was doing bad things with them. the new m1 was so fast compared to the previous intel mac.
and apple has a history of forcing devs to update to the most recent apple sdks.
and their translation layer was quite good as well.
