It's a constant jump in my experience, not one brand keeps using all the components you want every time around, sometimes it's ASUS, sometimes Lenovo, sometimes MSI, then even Dell.
every company has ups and downs just depends on whats a better deal and better support in your area
It's better if you search by the exact components you want and then land on whichever has thorough testing done about
@distant tapir https://videocardz.com/newz/210199
ASRock with new BIOS and AGESA In late August, ASRock released a new BIOS for its AM5 motherboards. The update, listed as version 3.40, was long overdue and promised to address the dying CPU issue. However, based on Reddit threads, users are still reporting problems, especially with Ryzen 9000X3D series processors. In some cases, though, […]
TIME TO UPDATE AGAINNNN
Do you all still use ASUS MOBO/GPU even after the huge asus customer support issue?
if it's a really good deal then sure
But if i can get an alternative for same price i'd rather go with someone else
Yeah issues specific to some products and some batches or points of time doesn't make me not ever wanting to buy from a certain brand again, i treat all product lines different and it's also dependent on the impact and re-occurence of the issue.
I'm buying ASUS still.
ASRock
Because like ASUS MOBO literally blew up while people were trying to overclock things. Although nowadays I'm seeing razer getting flamed lol
Not aware of that one specifically, but i'm sure they covered the problem.
So far not had much problem with Asrock specifically, but that ryzen 9000 issue seems persistent
Missed the last message sorry bout that
A more wide spread "blow up" type issue is what some Gigabyte PSUs had, now thats a product from a brand i would never buy ^^
every brand can be fine the exact product matters more than the brand name in 90% of cases
When it comes to laptops I'd say target ASUS and Lenovo and avoid HP and Dell
These two are notorious when it comes to issues with their firmware and "security measures"
Lenovo I never had any issues with, and ASUS' only annoying thing is Armoury Crate
This is exactly with "anyone can have issues" in mind, but the Gigabyte incidents were bad enough that i would never even recommend it again. Especially when you have plenty alternatives, often better.
Well there are some reasons not to like Asus specifically, for example if you want to use fan control on linux due to their specific implementation.
yeah gigabyte psus are just all not great quality
but could very well be that in 2 year they have the best
What parts do lenovo manufacture for desktops? Also, do acer produce any desktop parts?
nothing really
Last ASUS mobo incident i recall very sharply was one of the Intel based high end boards, a full batch of them had one component polarity shifted, so it would burn out mobos. But they covered all that damage.
Certainly a sour taste, but they handled it, so i would not be against them based on that.
Also to add to anecdotes about other gigabyte products, I have 2 gigabyte monitors and they have the obnoxious anti-feature to disconnect, then reconnect whenever they recieve no display signal.
Very fun when you disable display output on one.
It's not just 9000
I know someone who had a 7800x3d die on an asrock b860 mobo
With launch bios no expo cuz well dude was a noob
There's other cases of 7000 on b860
Me 9000 does happily choo choo in ASRock mobo
look at the asrock sub
When it comes to their GPUs, i'm not aware of any issues currently, my personal distaste is more about how much TuF and RoG tax there is when compared to many other SKUs, when sometimes other SKUs offer the same perf and clocks.
Exactly I can say just as much with having one that is still alive having used both a b650 and x870 Asrock motherboard.
How big is the difference from 7800X3D to 9800X3D? I doubt pairing an RTX 5090 with 7800X3D will hold it back by a lot right?
Negligible
You can get away with it
About 5%? Not really a reason no upgrade
Unless you're at 1080p
0% in some cases 20% best case, depends on game
But other than the price i don't see a reason to go previous gen
No one will buy a 5090 to play at 1080p low
Besides an absolute moron
I'm not talking about 1080p
it's roughly 100 EUR diff right now from the listings i'M seeing
Did you update your bios?
I'm not at home yet
Still on 3.30
What differences are there between a laptop CPU and GPU other than power limitations due to cooling capacity differences? Like 14900HX vs 14900K
you can still be cpu bound at 4k in some games with a 9800x3d, its just not most games
So you had updated it previously
between those basically nothing
lows on 9800x3d significantly better tho
Tbh the asrock thing i'm starting to wonder if it's not a hardware related thing
Its been so fucking long and
It keeps happenning
Also bios updates are a bit of a pain, generally quite lazy around them, wish they provided tools to migrate settings, which really does not work reliably
40% on Factorio
So probably will do it sometime
I only update if there's a fix i want
Power limitations therefore consumption, size and performance :)
In my case i havent updated in a year on my msi board, since they did the whole improve boot times updates that finally made my pc boot fast lol @thick elk
HX cpus on intel are litearlly just the desktop chips in a laptop
size of what? Aren't the two chips basically the same thing?
of the CPUs
Oh that definitely matters a lot
it depends, they can be literally the same or completely different
depends on which ones you compare
Exactly, all the other updates are just stuff for 9000x3d which i dont have so i dont see the point in updating
So honestly just read the patch notes
Then drcide based on what's in the notes
If you're on asrock i'd def update regardless tho just becaue of all the issues
I am, never had any though.
Just specifically with a memory oc and fan curves set up (as a fallback) bit of a pain to migrate those back.
so lazyness prevails.
To be fair memory tuning on a 7800x3d not worth it at all but enjoyed doing it.
Just turn on XMP and carry on
But what I have is stable now, I see no need to go back.
Also pretty safe to enable xmp then bump to 6200 with the matching if speeds.
To be honest setting the fan speeds back to sane levels in case I boot Windows, more annoying.
Would it be a solid choice for me (coming from pretty good IPS panels, with decent colors, but nothing special, 1080p whole life) to tap into the $300 2k Mini-LED 180Hz monitors right now? Keep hearing talk about Micro LED possibly coming but can't imagine it being below $1,000 for at least years.
Read a bit more about Mini-LED technology, if it has what you are looking for then why not.
mini led is just ips with more light zones
Would you jump resolutions and refresh too? you are only mentioning it in one or the other cases
not again
Yesss
just aesa doe
Not refresh but resolution yes. 1080p -> 2k, 180 same. I liked the much deeper blacks it seemed, and this specific panel is HVA. I am migrating more towards productivity over gaming and it seemed like a good pick for me. Was just seeing if there were personal opinions on them
Previous monitor had 0.5ms but it's that typical ghosting nastyness (new one would be at 1.0)
Do not give a damn about viewing angles tbh
Then actually it can be considered, i haven't dug deep into Mini-LED, most enthusiast friends said it's disappointing, but you should do your research and see if it has benefits. The resolution upgrade alone is already a worthy cause imo.
Thank you so much friend, the one review I did watch showcased how the blacks (to me too, and how it was shown on camera) looked so much better and that to me and the color ranges were amazing for editing like 97% average (just because I'm lazy won't type it all out) across sRGB, Adobe, and PCI. Thank you for the insight my friend
My whole life I've just kept my monitors exclusively for gaming so I'm just looking for something new, and I think it's time to switch to 2k :3
Next time i'M upgrading i'm in a big pickle myself :D
Yeah man as much as I'd like an OLED it's just not consumer perfect enough for me yet personally, price tag and whatnot I just don't personally see the value despite getting how top-of-the-line it is so. This was my conclusion haha
I do see them getting cheaper I'd just much prefer never having to worry about the burn-in stuff even if it gets the best it can be yk.
I have somewhat similar concerns, so i'M undecided if it's gonna be just a much better IPS or actually OLED yet.
Many choices too even if that is decided and then narrowing down units, plus a bunch are gonna release between now and when i have the cash.
Especially because I edit a lot with static stuff
Yeah, on top of the fact my import fees in SA are... 25% of the product haha
Figured I could drop the $300 but going for a $1k oled would net me $350 in import fees jaja
When you have lower budget for it, i feel it's easier to settle with something.
Indeed, and again thank you so much friend I appreciate you ^_^
Leave a message here if you got a specific unit, maybe if you bought it, curious to see/hear
Yes, I'm eyeing the KTC 27" @ 2k 180Hz (HVA, Mini-LED). I will keep you in thought no doubt and let you know what my review consensus is 🙂 Will be picking up in November.
I'm personally waiting for tandem OLED ultrawide 3440X1440 monitor now
https://rog.asus.com/monitors/27-to-31-5-inches/rog-strix-oled-xg27acdms/
i might gonna pick this up at Christmas

GPU worked using the crostini flag but much worse perf than it should be

👀
720p 🥀
540Hz more than enough at 2k
i swear we're evolving backwards
360p upscaled games on 720p panels
Please let «2k» die
so the worse version of the lg?
I thought this until I got one, granted I got a killer deal on mine
The price, although absurd is worth it imo
Honestly I'll do the same once we move back to the USA. Ordering tech that price is... it would be cheaper for me to fly there get the OLED and fly back.
It's a progressive tempting thing, you keep seeing videos of them with void level blacks and it's chipping at my resilience. such pretty tech
The motion clarity is absurd
Like the difference between 240hz ips and 240hz oled in motion clarity was jaw dropping
100% man, have heard this quite a bit too. Think I might go satisfy my desire through a stroll at the tech store soon 🤣
That's awesome man
I fr see them dipping into 400-500 in the US all the time around holidays.
Black Fridays coming up soon👀
I know bro, we get good sales down here too, very excited
Thinking of trying to grab a 9070xt if I can
definitely go for it imo, not sure of the value of the 9070xt but I have the r9 5900xt and it still keeps me completely solid right now
I've always had intel but last year went AMD and... I was honestly very disappointed at how ignorant I was about AMD's cpus
Ive got a 6900xt rn but wanting to push 240hz on bf6 so deff need upgrade for that
foshooo
Thankful my buddy built a pc before me so Ive been amd since my first build
My first PC started out with my Dad teaching me how to build them back in like, 2013 or 2014. We started with a GTX 970 and i7 4790k and it was the start to 10 years of competitive gaming hell and now I'm trying to shift all my specs into productivity haha
128Gb @ 4000, refurbished AM4 Dark Hero (for my 2 M.2 @ PCIe 4.0), two 4 TB 990 Pros, 28 TB Enterprise HDD, 1 TB SATA SSD.. Already own all Affinity Suite, Davinci, and a PDF Reader hella excited
^ is what I'll be stacking up for future toying and experimenting
whatever you do, just dont put it next to an ips or else youd wish you wouldve gotten one sooner
My first build was 3600x w 2070s in 2020, before that I had a gaming laptop with a 6700hq 1060
This plan only works because I'll be flying to the USA to pick up those parts
And then flying back home (Argentina)
i had a 3700x and a 2070s
That laptop somehow still works (only gets used for roblox now
)
RTX 4070 Super and that 5900XT suites all my editing/creative needs nowadays
But I believe I'm bottlenecked by a literal singular 1 TB 990 pro in my system right now LOL.
Im gonna end up on 9800x3d 9070xt
YES YOU LIVING MY DREAMS RNNNN
thats me
Good stuff bro
Unless 10k series comes out by the time im upgrading cpu
Then i may end up going with that
forza at a constant 299fps 1440p maxed RT
🔥
imagine forza 6 at 1440p Maxed RT at 299 FPS

YES
thats gonna be a pre-order, not just a day one buy xD
Gamepass🔥 🔥
yes I love when the game runs at 360p 60 fps but is scalled to 1080p 120fps like your playing more ai then game 😭
oh wait that message was a hour ago
Actually if anyone is heavily knowledgeable about computer specs (parts and their purpose) I would like to discuss some things with you lowkeyyyy
I have base level knowledge, but I would like to know if what I'm doing has any merit fr
ask a question dont ask to ask a question, makes it easier
Yeah, sorry. It will be long.
we love wall of texts here
@zenith silo photomode (you can also do late afternoon for a warmer-temp photo, or sunset for a cooler-temp photo)
Bro I had to put my wall text on pause what the helly

That is beautiful

rn i jsut play forza for photomode from time to time
tho forza still needs work on some textures (hopeful for fh6)

I've been gaming for a long ass time, but I'm old and grand unc status atp and just want to monetize my art while working n stuff with gaming on the side now.
My specs are: RTX 4070 Super, R9 5900xt, 32 Gb ram @ 3200 (I think Cl16), Asus TG B550-Plus Wifi II MBU, 1000 Watt Gold PSU (this.. i'm not looking at the name again), and a literal singular 1 TB 990 Pro.
I was considering: 128 Gb ram @ 4000 (Cl18), Dark Hero VIII MBU, 28 TB Enterprise HDD (archive/backups, storing stuff I'll edit later), two 4 TB 990 Pros (active editing storage, moving from big HDD to this. from what I understood I could configure them in RAID 0..?), 1 TB SATA SSD (Solely for OS)
Reasons:
Moving from gaming --> productivity. With AI local stuff I'm tempted to experiment with that at some point, but the main reason I wanted to do this was for the turbo sized files I deal with (storage), and I also figured the ram would help my editing workflows (I currently only have 1080p, but do the Davinci Studio NVIDIA 4k upscaling, and hard vfx n whatnot). I also considered just outright using my massive storage to get a domain and maybe be my own cloud service for cheap. So pretty much just buying stuff to be able to do all kinds of whack stuff I can't right now. My storage also feels bottlenecked, when downloading extreme file sizes (three 15 Gb files at the same time) I believe the speed of my 990 isn't the problem
Question:
I am mainly an artist, specifically VFX (I do handle 4k footage, just... 1080p monitor right now xd) for the most part, just wondering if I'll see any improvement there. I wanted to go to max (128 Gb) because of these kind of "experimental" ideas I have realistically. In general, what can I expect? If I was dumb dumb ignorant, please educate me. ^_^ Is this a good idea?
^ to clarify. my own footage I record gameplay in 1080p --> 4k upscaling, but I do handle 4k footage sometimes from others.
It's just so hard to ask questions to ChatGPT, and not want to come to an actual person who has experiences with this stuff tbh
tbh i would get a 32" ultra-wide or 32" 4K monitor for working
and i would put the money towards an AM5 upgrade instead of AM4
I mean how much ram do you use atm
you can estimate better than anyone else how much ram you need
if you have enough then its enough, you dont have a benefit from having more unused ram
'for backups its probably best to have a NAS with storage so its not in the same system and survives more issues
what kind of motherboard should i get for gaming im getting a 9800x3d and a 5070ti idk whats better the B850 or X870
B850 or B650
whatever is the cheapest that has all the features you need
how come?
Is being unable to do tasks with the PC while rendering video solely due to the GPU? This could change some stuff for me. The RAM albeit I can't tell you "I hit max," locking myself out of any tasks that I could experiment with like AI or making my own server did have me very interested in the future so I can say "I'll definitely use it at some point," instead of looking stupid because I haven't exactly recorded or logged that to a tea, but I have hit upwards of 80% full.
well the other question is whats the budget because you could just go overkill on everything
usually cheaper and unless you need something on an expensive board just get the cheapest one that has it all
I'd rather not because AM5 overkill is still like way too high for me in all honesty. I'd like to complete this AM4 build for another reason, giving it to my wife and selling her RTX 3060 i5 12600k 32 Gb (when we're back in the USA) and then offloading what I sold it for to build a godzilla computer.
ight thank you i was wondering just what would preform better for gaming
doesnt matter performance doesnt change
But I was trying to see if my head was in the right space (at all) for the part's actual intended purposes
boards only change what IO you can have, usb ports, ssd slots etc.
ahh okay thank you
Mainly because I would like to use my PC while rendering, and if that's adding another GPU I'm going to have another x16 for it. But going AM5 would still be like 2.5x this price for my specific situation rn
I just didn't see the point as my current performance in terms of base level is very good still
gaming while rendering will always fuck up the performance so better to either have two systems or not do it at the same time
No not gaming but just being able to do anything at all without dying inside
any rendering will always use all the resources it gets unless you limit it
depends on the application tbh, some use absolutely all the resources it can get, some only use what they need.
so you can take your current system and limit the cpu cores or gpu power it can get, thats about it
Adding another GPU specifically for Davinci would be a bad idea?
paid or free version of resolve studio?
Paid
then it will use all GPUs available
Bruh
you can limit it however
True
Thank you guys so much for being respectful btw
Albeit kind of a closed end discussion, you guys definitely provided me with (direct pointer) information I need to look more deeply into this topic and that's exactly what I wanted. So I appreciate your guy's time for that

is my build good? I plan to buy it next month
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 5070, Montech XR ATX Mid Tower
personally I’d get the 9700x over the 7800x3d
I’d get X3D if the build already has a 5070Ti and above
What games do you mostly play and what’s the budget
Is good, you can replace AIO with air cooler and get 2x24GB
These are the changes i would make: https://geizhals.eu/wishlists/4678058
Note that Mobo, Graphics Card, AIO and both storages are cheaper than PCpartpicker shows (in fact some other items are cheaper aswell, except for your Fan pack, that one is cheaper on Amazon FR), i recommend using Geizhals EU.
The total for the parts with the proper prices: 1654,91 EUR
Terrible

How are you people making builds when you don’t even know what resolution they play which game at..
The more you do it the more you dont need to know those things
Apart from the cpu/gpu combo there were so many more worse things
They provided a template as to what they expect, all i did was upgrade some parts and provide a better price for what he was already going for. It didn't change his core idea.
Clearly you didn't look at it if you can't make that out.
Yes you do, if he’s playing only valorant a 9800x3d would do more than a gpu upgrade and if it’s at 4K he can just get a 9600x instead..
If they ask if their build is good that doesn’t mean the build makes sense because they might now know it so why not just ask the basics first before recommending something that isn’t great for what they want to play
Still a pretty poor list
Because i judged that the build actually does make sense, and i don't put together configs for single games.
And again, it's just a quick fix up, if he has more info to provide or anything to discusss/change, i'm open.
They asked if it was good. It wasn't good. I don't edit cpu and gpu unless a decent upgrade can fit in the budget regardless of resolution
I mean I think just going zen5 over 4 for web browsing alone is worth it because even in gaming pcs people spend hours on chrome and that’s a decent upgrade there for example. Idk I think it makes little sense to make a recommendation before asking more about what they use it for
Never buy am4 new tbh. And if you can't afford am5 either, 12/14th gen Intel is the best option
12400f still goes hard if you're on a really tight budget
Where did am4 come from
Such a cool case :D

Wonder how good the GPU is? good for modern AAA?
No
what nvidia card would it be closest to for performance?
Why do you want a workstation card for gaming
oh this is workstation card?? oooh ok
oh thats why the gaming test starts when the video is nearly over...LOL
It’s like below a 4060
It's pretty decent at gaming, but the regular Intel cards are better at a similar price
ah, got it
It’s not decent it’s more than double the price bc extra vram
It's decent performance wise, but not decent price to performance wise
70W is not giving decent AAA experience
4060 is decent. Not great. Not super. Decent
It’s worse than a 4060
This is not the big battlemage card this is the workstation version of the smaller one which is like above a 2070
sorry, its even worse I didnt know they cut down the card even more lmfao
yeah so in borderlands4 that would give you maybe 20 fps

hm?
i assume it just streams the source files the artist/label uploads
so something like pink season would only exist as 320kbps mp3

interesting. not what i expected
so it just doesnt have exclusive mode 😴
(they supposedly are working on it according to some reddit ama i think)
the android thing (that affects all streaming services) is funny tho
Resampling errors are also the type of thing that is very measurable but not very noticeable if you don't completely botch it if at all.
There are android apps that let you reroute the audio to skip the Androids Audio API
UAPP helps bypass the android issue
UAPP needs API access though, which Spotify does not allow
but I'm sticking to hosting my own music on PLEX
For lossless I just use Apple Music
ill stay with spotify
Works perfectly on iPhone and my Mac
self-host ftw
maybe i get lossless one day
do you buy the music 👀
while my library is flac, the benefit is mostly to not have downtime and random songs missing
You buy every album you listen to or what?
some
lol
I still have a youtube music sub through youtube prem
so I am technically still "paying"
yt music 😭
I like YT prem
same
yt music is all you need
I just use an adblocker
i hate that app
that's all I use for like 3-4 years lmao
Premium users do get higher quality audio on music videos now
yt is nice for that ye
I also use a local library, as for buying, well I can tell you that I spend about a spotify subscription (indexed yearly with inflation) worth of music.
damn thats like 5 songs
Less
I had premium lite on youtube as I don't use any of it's features, but also don't want to freeload, however they killed the option and premium is pretty expensive for just keeping the platform alive and supporting creators.
Probably more like 3
vpn
select the price you want
shame plexamp doesn't support exclusive mode, but the desktop plex app does
While that works, kind of defeats the point imo and they may not support my payment methods over vpn / disable it at some point.
my card has been working for a while
my payment methods are basically IDeal and paypal
its like the service with the least protection against using vpn
If they don't want me to pay I am fine just blocking ads without paying.
If I watch on my phone it doesn't even track as a view anyway.
i mostly watch on an apple tv soo
No experience with that, for me youtube kind of a background thing with higher than 2x playback speed. So mostly desktop some phone.
Would not think of having it on a tv.
My phone setup right now is rss feed for subscriptions > tubular (newpipe fork with sponsorblock > mpv to actually watch.
Nah they are worse now
India used to work now they need a card from there afaik, I managed to get romanian student to work but I couldn't find a residential romanian vpn to get it to work again
atleast they not cancelling it
Yeah lucky I guess xD
turkey discord been working for 2 years lol
Student needs to be renewed like yearly idk why my india one stopped working...
but discord pretty complicated
i think i used seperate google account on a cloned play store for that
Yeah stuff like hbo max is also difficult to get in other countries
sooo truee
i wanna some stuff from there but the regional services with that content are 1080p only 😭
i aint paying for that
I mean I managed it using a true residential vpn and google play store acc and creditcard I think (or paypal, not sure)
I remember that time
Hbo used to be 1080p max here and it cost you 20eur/m
I'm not made of money xD
Netflix is already one of the most expensive here aswell
hbo max will supposedly come to germany (and some other european countries) at the beginning of 2026
as their deal with sky ends 2025
me casually watching HBO max in Hungary
jealous...
i think most streaming service is in Hungary
Here it was with streams which has no interest in doing anything above 1080p 🤣
Netflix 4k is 19.99eur/m
the people working at those companies must not watch their own stuff

thats like starting a music streaming service but only playing audio out of the one side of the headphones
This used to include hbo stuff... 21.99eur/m (less if paid yearly, but like, the fuck)
Meanwhile prime is 25eur/y 🤣
we got some bundle deals too
but they are like always the not best option
like with ads and stuff
Criminal to put ads in it xD
One day people will realise the less legal route saves them 100eur/m and has no ads
Cancelled prime bc Amazon chose to cancel Wheel of Time
based
Spotify lossless was going to fail because the CEO doesn't actually care for the music
With the family plan I end up paying about $3 a month for Spotify
I mean with how little artists get from Spotify if paid at least some other services acc pay more to artists
If you want to support the artist go on Qobuz or bandcamp
my youtube premium also gives a bit more to channels than normal ad viewers
yeah qobuz is prob the best lossless service after apple
tidal slowly recovering its image
Tidal and Qobuz are on par, but I only dislike Tidal for the owner
MQA
Apple One is included in my cellular package. It also works out better value for money than the cheaper unlimited package with no extras and then buying Apple One separately.
Been on Apple Music since 2017
I usually just buy their vinyl if it's one my fav artists even though I still don't have a vinyl player
music streaming is just not a good business tbh
I do the same, you don't need a turntable to collect stuff
I’ve got a small vinyl collection
me with the From Zero vinyl
But I’m largely just a streaming individual
Yeah I think I'm also a pretty hard person to buy for but vinyl makes a good gift
This is my small collection, I need to work on it more. I'm waiting on two atm
i wonder how long tidal will survive
would be cool to get all of nujabes's vinyls
best vinyl disk
Is that a picture disc
yeah im lazy to take pic about it xd
every Youtuber with the R.A.M. Vinyl
osrs soundtrack is so goated
Picture discs are cool, just don't sound epic more of a collector thing than a playing thing
FROM ZERO SPOTTED 😍
The Forlorn Homestead and Baroque are probably my fav osrs music
i never played OSRS soo idk
How about this one
I have that one, it's alright
Tower records was such a fun store, I didn’t get any vinyl but I kind of wanted to, just got a bunch of cds
Don’t have a vinyl player and I didn’t have a cd player before getting cds
they should release CDs in steel cases like video games collector editions
tbh im not a big fan of mc music either lol
The one in Japan?
Yeah
Cool, my boyfriend went there
I was tempted to get a vinyl but I didn’t end up doing it
I hit up at least 3 different tower records
https://www.discogs.com/release/32020250-Kuricorder-Pops-Orchestra-Masaki-Kurihara-TV-Animation-Azumanga-Daioh-OST
https://www.discogs.com/release/12836728-Masayoshi-Takanaka-The-Rainbow-Goblins He brought me these back from Japan which was nice of him
I didn’t have any cds before going but now I have these
And three copies of the middle one in the bottom row
azudai ost would be nice
Don’t remember seeing it but my friend would’ve been all over that
I ripped it the other day onto my PC, it's quite nice.
Only ever bought one cd and found it really doesn't do it for me so that is it.
(technically got a second)
Stal on record 🔥
nice, high key might get apple care one
you can cover any 3 devices for 20 bucks per month, compared to normal pricing for an individual product its very much worth it.
They don’t yet offer that in the UK
idk I just do the trick of live in the EU so I'm covered by consumer protection without paying for it
*directly
well yes but I mean I'm not paying taxes for it and then apple care on top
only one extra year really.
here we only get one year
EU you get two years
which is nice I guess
well thats warranty, afterwards can still get repairs
I have normal insurance for that which also covers that
Plus covers devices that never previously qualified for loss and theft
my property insurance doesn't cover my phone 😔
albeit it does cover things that cost significantly more than a phone LMAO
Inboedelverzekering ftw

I think the main advantage is accidental damage “coverage”
Well not full coverage but very heavy discounts
Tjat said idk if its worth it
@shadow minnow i had to get my battery replaced under warranty, i had applecare plus for 2 years cuz of a promotion with the carrier, instead of having me drive 4 hours or mail my phone in, they did an advanced rma where they shipped me a new unit and i sent them back my old one after
Being able to do that makes me want to get it next time even if its not free through a promotion through my carrier
Then again i get that most of you probably live within range of an apple store or some shiy
Pretty gay
what is this garbage
recently my electricity bill has shot up like crazy. I live with my girlfriend in a pretty modest apartment, but I do have my gaming PC . Now the utility company suddenly wants €175 per month from me that’s €2,100 per year just for electricity. That’s insane! Do someone have any idea what could be causing this? It almost feels like someone is mining Bitcoin on my PC at night or something. 😂
No way a 5080 and a Ryzen 79800X3D with a 480Hz OLED main monitor and a 240Hz secondary monitor, both at 1440p, would use that much power per month even if I gamed 10 hours a day
i dont even have like that many lights or some
I mean maybe the price per watt hour went up a lot
You can probably see the usage on your bill and compare to previous months
Yeah, I need to check that. I’ve already checked my current meter reading. I’m switching to a cheaper provider now this just can’t be right.
175 euro per month is just insane
@harsh ether
https://search.app/iYQCy
Just read the news
For wherever you live
germany
everything is just worse here ngl
Your food is likely higher quality
Electricity costs have been cooked in germany ever since the cheap russian gas stopped flowing
That definitely does not help
But that doesnt explain such a sudden change
Ask your electricity provider to show how much you used and see if it looks unrealistic
Unless they are building a data center in the same city as Moqil I have no idea
Could also later consider a smart plug
Those can measure power consumption
38,13 Ct./kWh I don’t know if this means anything to you, but this is what my provider shows
I can ask my German buddy also tomorrow
But that sounds close to the same rates he told me
that seem way to high lol
like the monthly thing
i got pretty much same setup and im well below 100 a month xd
unless you like using it 24/7 in a game
I was paying like €120 about two months ago with two people, and we have a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher everything in the apartment but suddenly it’s so much more. I’ll call them later to ask about it, that’s just crazy.
Your refrigerator probably consumes the most followed by the PC
not really i play alot but i play like 6 hours max a day and thats like way more then it really is maybe 4 but the pc is on alote for youtube and other stuff
i have
Did you accidentally leave your fridge or freezer door open half the month
maybe look at what you use in 24h there
or a week
by just checking in that interval
i took a picture yesterday i will watch that stuff now
and ye a lil electricty meter for the wall might help to know what is consuming that much
I also bought a new one two months ago it really shouldn’t be using that much power.
the setup will probably use like 500w-600w when gaming
I doubt any of your stuff really is, German buddy told me he charges me power when he made my parts cuz of the high electrical rates
when i put all my info in chatgpt it says i pay like 80 euro or some for my pc alone and + all my other stuff i need like the fridege it says 175 euro sounds right
If you really want to could make your PC go to sleep within 3 minutes of non use of whatever
i mean idle doesnt really use anything
Well gpus be hungry these days
brand new not even 2 month old
Maybe I can set it warmer I recently also felt like it’s really, really cold
there are like cheap thermometers
And now your power bill went up
I know this is rare but still gonna ask, do you have air conditioning?

and you find the recommended temperatures online
nope
Okay nevermind that could consume a lot of power
my bill went up so much even when the fridge would be open that could be not it like common
thats only for billionaires in germany
but maybe its a little bit of all ngl
its like asking if i have my own airplain haha
lol
Oh well
not at all im mostly on my pc
Guess that would make sense if not running in eco
time to switch to phone gaming
but my monitor is allways runnig at 480hz and its oled i turned down brightness already
i got the same
i made my sec monitor runn on 120hz now not 240hz
I thought the 5080 was so energy-efficient lol.
per fps yes
but you tend to use higher settings then and all
or run high frame rate
so its back at 300w+
I have my PC professionally tweaked, and we set everything for performance, every core adjusted. I’ve already talked to my colleague about it, and he also says it shouldn’t be using that much power.
You can try to underclock the cpu
If you have not but that is usually done for less noise and heat
I’d prefer not to change anything t’s super quiet and runs perfectly, better than I could have wished for
Fair enough
Id get a electricy meter for the wall first to get some values first and then act upon that
and a cheap thermometer for the fridge to "optimize" that
i got it tweaked by Fr33thy and its running soo good he explaind a lot to me when we did it with a nice power plan a windwos debloat we set every single coore to a value testetd it all took us hours would be nice when i can just let the pc be like it is now
yup gonna do that now
i have one somehwere
i’m also going to talk to my provider today, give them the current readings to check if everything is correct let’s see what they say.
do that
i got the tipp iI got the tip that I should download HWiNFO to see how much power my PC is drawing.
gives u an idea but real usage will be higher
i hate downloading stuff so much haha
depending on what you play you could also like limit framerate and stuff
i cap most my games in the game files to 480 fps already besides cs2 thats running at 800
But the 35g springs with 0.1mm actuation will get me out of bronze
maybe true
That sounds as useless at the games that run menus at 1000fps
ye but depends on the game and stuff
like ow feels much better for me on unlimited vs capped to 480
so idk
ts pmo
american game studios do not care man
I love my games running on unreal engine (the game now looks 2% more realistic and runs at 2% of the frame rate)
I really hate that dead by daylight
Uses so much resources
The game does not even look that amazing but thanks unreal engine 5
Thats not an unreal issue the game is very average on how hard it it’s to run
Valorant runs on UE5 too and people get >500fps it’s almost never an engine issue
Valorant uses none of the fancy new rendering tech, they just migrated UE4 with classic stuffs to UE5
If they've added the whole smorgasbord of new rendering tech and ray-tracing and what not which every UE5 basically forces nowadays it'd run at like 50 fps instead
Yeah but that’s not an engine issue where people just throw everything at it without making it run properly
I could do the same in unity just with more work but it’s not as simple so you aren’t seeing people complain about unity performance, unreal just gives you the tool and asks the user to be responsible
Which many aren’t , looking at you gearbox
Yeah... asks user to be responsible and on the other hand it has approach of "look at these cool new tools, use them >.<" and "these are just there because of backwards compatibility, we'd get rid rid of them if we could" towards old rendering pipeline
Well yeah the original plan for lumen was HW not SW raytracing because that’s what devs wanted but it was too hardware taxing
Just like idtech got rid of the non RT pipeline
we should do pathtracing on the cpu
Unreal and co won’t fully get rid of them because they get used for any sort of thing like 2d games and all where it’s easier to use the old path but that’s not something epic is trying to force or even is the first to do
how u named epic games but your games aint epic
There’s a world where the consoles have better RT and we get HW lumen plus raster fallback and all of this isn’t an issue
There's a world where average turnover rate in gaming industry is more than 1.5 years on average
and experienced people who actually worked on the game and know it better than anyone work on it till it releases
and not get fired after a year or two because company doesn't want to pay benefits or give them an actual contract
and where game releases are not rushed just to meet the end of closest quarter, so that company looks more appealing to investors
and where game companies are being lead by engineers and not finance guys who know absolutely nothing about development processes...
no there isnt
I mean it’s all a trade off, if you always wait till a better version you don’t end up releasing every game because suddenly you ran out of salary money etc.
Or because investors are greedy crybabies and they want their dividends now
stuff is always pretty complicated
Sure but without investors many big projects don’t have the money to even start
thing's arent the way they are because people are evil
It’s very simple to see non technical stuff as the bad part because it often is but often it’s also necessary
Can’t make big games the same way like an indie game with two devs that are fine not getting paid for years
Sure
Would also be way easier if executives were getting million dollar bonuses for doing fuck all while canceling projects and firing people left and right, while the "lack" of money can be easily explained that they tried to bite too much and spent too much to buy other game companies
RIGHT MICROSOFT?!
Will never forgive them motherfuckers for canceling Perfect Dark reboot
I swear if there's any evil in the world it can be tied to Microsoft in one way or the other
yeah but for one person that pockets too much and closes one company theres another that only is alive because someone made sure they dont forget having salaries to stay open
just easier to see the bad when you never hear stories of the other because its really boring hearing someone talk how they did a normal financing for a company lel
Yeah
Let's just get rid of those who pocket too much
And Microsoft while we are at it
nooo
Microsoft bad
corps bad
crap, the earpad of my beyerdynamic mmx200 is splitting
lets see what their warranty service does
lol
epic has good compensation though, just hard hours which is a industry issue
and Tencent is epics only investor
Ah yes, crunch culture, because kids need more Fortnite skins
Imagine working after hours
its private with Tim having full control still
i mean no one works more hours at epic than Sweeny, so its lead by example
Still
No kind of money would make me work 50~60h weeks for a prolonged amount of time
the most successful game ever sure isn't epic XD
they made minecraft?
They made Jazz Jackrabbit
fortnite has made way, way more money than Minecraft
Surprisingly has less CC players than CS and Dota
in 2012 epic was worth under a billion, now they are over 30 billion
thats only Fortnite
Sweet sweet UE money also counts
? Fortnite peaked at 14 million players last year
barely
14 million concurrent players? Or daily? Because that's like a huge difference
And I doubt that Epic's infrastructure could even hold 14M players at once
not so sure if its really the most successful one financially
csgo had a peak of 1.480, Fortnite 1.600 in last 24
yep in November for am event
14 million players online at once
Currently it has 600k
Dota has 700k, CS over a million
nothing compared to roblox lol
Yeah, Roblox takes a cake
not peak hours for fn school in US
look at 24 hour peak
blox fruits peak player count was 2.7 million
what the fuck
why is pure slop so popular
Does it give marketplace items?
Because their brains are so rotted it's all they think exists

Update:
︀︀
︀︀- I was denied boarding due to this (been travelling for ~47h straight so this is really nice 🙃). Need to pay for a hotel for the night now and get back home tomorrow👌
︀︀
︀︀- was sent to the hospital, as an emergency
︀︀
︀︀- ring got removed
︀︀
︀︀You can see the battery all swollen.
︀︀
︀︀Won’t be wearing a smart ring ever again.
︀︀
︀︀@SamsungUK @SamsungMobile @SamsungMobileUS
Quoting Daniel (@ZONEofTECH)
︀
Ahhh…this is…not good.
︀︀
︀︀My Samsung Galaxy Ring’s battery started swelling. While it’s on my finger 😬. And while I’m about to board a flight 😬
︀︀
…
scary

Yes I too enjoy wearing something that could blow off my finger. Why the fuck isn't the battery on the OUTSIDE 😄
I don't think it can be
Why tf people even use smart rings?
Less annoying than watches that last less than a day
Does it even show time?
i think they’re for health tracking
People get degloving injuries from wearing regular rings
Might as well add a battery for an even more gruesome injury
😍
Nah, the metal is on the outside, it can't expand that way
There's gotta be sensors facing inwards so there's really nothing to be done with current tech
My oura ring is metal on the inside as well.
I got it for health tracking as I do not like watches.
And it lasts about a week
Except for the holes in the metal
If the battery expands, it also will expand in the direction of the thinner metal
All the teardowns I've seen show thick metal in a n shape...
just use non expanding batteries
Not possible
Ok actually scratch this, the new gen 4 ring seems to have a stronger bottom, and weak sides such that the sides are what pops off when it breaks
Very good!
Definitely a design oversight and serious safety risk. Definitely something that should be prevented as swelling batteries do happen.
imagine the battery self ignites somehow and you cant remove the ring 😭
oura headband when
Battery is tiny, it constricting and cutting blood flow to your finger is the bigger issue. I would be more worried about a phone, laptop or powerbank catching fire and burning your house down.
I was updating Wooting 60he to the latest version and suddenly my computer restarted and my Wooting turned off like it was dead. I removed it and plugged it back in. Wooting still didn't connect. How to fix this guys help me
(but select 60he)
Aw come on mansen this is more portable of an IED than the note 7 and one can have 16 of them at a time
Bro you saved me man tysm
If something lile that happens again of you have some other questions, we have a wole community support section.
is this normal on a wooting 60he?
it sits inside a metal tube
so it will only swell inside
if you want it to be able to swell outside you would need to weaken the outside, which would mean that it would break quite quickly
Yes - Because such tests are useless and show nothing.
yes because the site cant test the spec it can only test how fast you press the button
And how long it takes for your finger to let go 😄
whats a good way to test latency?
you need physical tools to test it
play game and see if its good
you cant test it on a website
i only play osu
gd with cbf also works, you can see how consistent keystrokes feel to you
New yt shorts UI suck for 1 hand use
Like 2x smaller and hurt my thumb trying to reach the comments
omg thats it, laws need to be made to make tiktok and shorts UI bad and people stop getting brainrotted
google giggles >>
Nah, I think this just makes people scroll more rather than reading
They should make it easier to find the description
In the rare event I do open a short I almost always look in the description
eheheh
i did end up doing it earlier tho
unfortunately i got a faulty monitor so i gotta return it and get a new one
but yeah after that ill be back to it :D
Real men use a tiling window manager
First morning commute with the AirPods Pro 3. The better ANC is instantly noticeable on the train.
Soon™ to test it on the London underground.
sadly no AKC (active knife cancelling)

I always forget that CPU at my work computer is so slow and I shouldn't compile from AUR
Ah, 2 normal cores and 8 fake ones, gotcha
No matter what Intel be Intel, pushing dual and quad cores
almost a lana post
That is not a problem for me
The ANC works incredibly well on the underground. I barely heard anything outside of my headphones.
Life is bliss.
ah its time for the weekly new (youtube/discord/...) ui update sucks
Sure - I'll rant as well. Shorts move too slowly between videos now on Desktop. Used to start very snappy and "memory leak" slower and slower over time.
Now it starts at really fucking sluggish and feels downright broken.
smh not talking about new steam store ui
There isn't one?
Mine looks the same as it has for ages.
if you cant see whats different between the 2 then id recommend glasses
Just depends on what page you're on
this is on every store page
Must be some AB thing. I've seen both.
They've announced last week on Steam News that it's going out for everyone
yeah i was certain they are done testing and it was supposed to be "everyone now has to use this one" kinda thing
(just so i dont miscommunicate this but I do like the new steam store UI but expect some people to hate it as the internet always does)
That too
But the search function has improved significantly too
cant say i search a lot of games on steam
search is easy when there isn't seo and ai slop
Does anyone know why my game micro-stutters when I enable Tachyon Mode, even though my FPS remains stable at 300+? I've already tried switching the USB cable and resetting Wootility (connected to a USB 3.2 port)
Seems about right. Double the price of the tamron basically @umbral heron

Think I'll go with Tamron's 90 and some nice bright Sigma 50

but if Taiwan move chip production to the US, the US doesn't need to protect Taiwan much
Imagine taking a security promise from Trump serious.
"Move your production so that we don't need to defend you, to ensure that we defend you"
Dumb as rocks
Just invest in intel more
😭
Lit just use the military budget to build Intel fabs just for military use
doesnt matter becuase thats still behind of when its ready in taiwan and the earliest they could achieve parity with bleading edge would be after next election cycle

?
oracle chose intel xD
do you realize how many instinct gpus oracle is buying
yea but cpu side
oracles buys everything because they provide solutions
futures instinct racks come with amd cpus included so they buy them as well
Oracle will offer zettascale AI clusters accelerated by the latest AMD Instinct processors with up to 131,072 MI355X GPUs
replace that with a future buildout of mi400 and each of them has zen6 attached to it
Not bad
What's significant about this update?
higher number
It clicked the other day that my roller blinds are white....
It works so well oml
The only problem is kitties
They do that with TVs as well
i dont see any problem, interactive movie with cats
One of mine loves to lie right in front of the TV.

How TF do I change the volume step percentage in Android?????
6% is way too fucking much
I either explode my eardrums or the music is too quite
No in-between
Sound assistant
That's only Samsung
Yep but if you want to change volume step in unrooted android, that's your option
what is going on at the FCC
I'm not going to switch phone just to get this feature :'(
OneUI is really ugly and clunky also
Skill issue
What do you think, look at who's in charge now

Wtf...
Who made this eq preset
Holy treble lol
It really does
NothingOS has more options than stock but doesn't change the UI design
(Except the home and lock screen)
It sort of changes the settings
Once samsung adds call screening, I don't see a reason to get a pixel anymore
Dex is the best desktop mode
I’m thinking about getting the keychron q1 he qmk is it good for its price
Like this?
ooo, next os update?
oh wait have I been using it this whole time?
not sure if it is on the same level as pixel's call screening
Not sure, I know the Google call app also has the feature
I don't actually use it I never get SPAM calls
That seems like a poor assessment
What used to be is for original photo quality Google would scan photos
There are ai enabled features
Magic eraser ect
I need that telephoto
not sure if you would want a macro for birds xd
Yeah I need the opposite of a macro

That image doesn’t work with that headline
All tech spending isn’t for AI
There’s ton of non ai bubble money in tech
i think what they meant is
the excluding and total was closely related before
and now theres a big difference (probably because of ai)
which lowkey is still convoluted asf
nvidia just invented ai to sell more gpus
I be don’t think that makes sense because based on that graph there would be almost 0 difference in it until q4 of 2024 and they already had big spendings to ai in that quarter
Not to mention tech is probably one of the biggest contributors to gdp anyway so it seems odd that before it barely was related?
Also that would imply if they weren’t building ai things that just wouldn’t spend the money at all which I have my doubts on
Say corpo 1 pays $5M to corpo 2, corpo 2 pays $5M to corpo 3, corpo 3 pays $5M to corpo 1
Nothing of value has been passed down to consumers, but GDP has increased by $15M
Big tech corpos can just pass around money to inflate GDP, AI bubble really helps with that
You know what else is a great way of increasing GDP? Restricting imports
Economy is objectively worse, but hey at least your total exports minus total imports went up!
Wasn't that the case recently that Nvidia invested in OpenAI, OpenAI invested in Oracle, Oracle is buying AI hardware from Nvidia?
So no money changed hands really, but Oracle stock soared

Here I always thought money is a representation of work, and here money is being made out of thin air
Look at this loser who can’t work money out of thin air
stocks never were that. stocks were always fictitious
Honestly if I didn’t already have tamron I’d be tempted too
i have a question on wooting team
i have a question for god: Why?
so i had a broken keyboard and i got new pcba i reinstalled everything and texted uback because of the retouring ticket but i never got the answer, so i wrote again and the same problem happened again, the case is fully normal cuz i packed it immediately back but i just cant get the answer from woooting
make a thread in #1019755933959733258
ok thx
What's the order number?
Currently I own the Wooting Two HE full size. Since it came out is there now like a definitive upgrade that I can buy, like maybe replace switches or smth I dunno
I'll check up on it and see if I can't get someone to look into it for you.
thanks, maybe i even get the info but i didnt really saw it due a lot of mails last time
switches are for sound and feel only. The 80he/60v2 are technically an upgrade cause 8k polling but realistically it makes no difference
I would really like a quiet yet tactile switch

Oh no, not wankpanzer
After people test: This little claim is gonna cost us 51 years to recover
They skipped 14 cause it sounds like death or something and superstition
That's still 5 models ahead of mine. 😄
Should skip to 17 to match Apple
I read about that today, since yesterday they block the UK xD
Nothing of value lost.
They recently replaced almost all staff (what little there were) with AI.
I gave up on restoring my account there after months of trying. It was tied to Twitter, and I deleted my account there.
Could be annoying if someone sends you an imgur link with an image though, I think those are also blocked
Good luck xD
Soon 1y than nvidia have put rtx 5000 on the market, but we don't have reflex 2 feature
Hot take but who gives a shit if they replaced staff with ai it's a fucking image hosting website
- it's still widely used by people on reddit and other platforms
because ai isnt known for doing a good job of scanning your images if they are fine or making good jobs if you need support because you got banned etc.
Anyone got experience with HyperX Cloud III S wireless?
Most people view images and never upload
I never made a damn imgur account
day 5430328 of dashi not understanding if people use something in a different way it might matter to them
Because it needs a lot of support.
congrats, you invented how money works
you're just late a few thousand years
Money always needs to pass around, its not meant to be kept or saved
If corpos took money and didnt invest it, they'd just pay it out with dividends
Existence of billionaires tells me that money doesn't work
money never represented work, it represents means of exchanging work so as to quantify the value of work
Yeah, but we are not even quantifying it, we are speculating on it
The velocity of money doesn't change that GDP is a weird and mostly useless measuring stick
If it predicts how often money is exchanging hands it can also predict how robust the market is, how much work is available and how much work is worth.
And how much is a bubble? Because I'll never believe that Nvidia is worth $4.54T just because of LLMs
Well no the GDP is about the value of goods and services rendered and the success of trading not the work itself
GDP per capita is more a measure of the value of work but still not really
Look at the pe ratio
Forward PE ratio is how long to pay back investors in years at current (ly expected) income
Cisco during the dotcom bubble was in the 200 range and average growth tech stock is around the 20-30 range
As long as wealth inequality continues to increase, then so too will asset prices....
When a rich person gets more money, 100% goes into assets.
Of course nothing is a straight line
And it can be over 100% because of the loan loophole
And value of goods is based on how much work is worth in general and how much work is available
Generalizing here
Globalization changes things but for sake of argument we can ignore that so lets speak about domestic markets
Yes. But it's not about the value of the goods themselves, it's about how they are rendered or sent to the correct person. So if we say I want oranges but noone has oranges and people produce a ton of apples, even though its hard work, its not worth anything if noone wants apples
Definitely, so producing apples doesnt increase gdp in that scenario, and their work isnt worth anything
But let's say that NVIDIA has a bunch of GPUs that they can't really make much money with, but OpenAI has a ton of uses for GPUs but doesn't really have the infrastructure for them. You can have OpenAI go to Oracle, go to NVIDIA to get the GPUs.
And that contributes a lot to GDP because there's a lot of people who are getting what they want in that situation, even though the actual value of goods is not as high
either skip to 18 or 25
Yes but it don'tt stop there. It's a cycle. Then after Nvidia gets the $ from Oracle, it invests it back somewhere else. The problem is when they money stops changing hands. The faster the better, the higher the GDP and more robust market.
Money is just the lubricant that makes trade work. And so GDP is a measure of how well-flowing a system is. Not necessarily the amount of stuff in the system.
And currently the answer is OpenAI closing the loop
I agree. It predicts velocity of money, robustness of market and jobs. Maybe value of work, but not necessarily if one nation comes up with a system that money changing hands faster than another.
Which the us has
It's still not at a level where ppl like Musk and Buffet swap 200 B each day to increase GDP
xD
Google failed me providing a graph of nation's money velocity. I wanted to see if there was a bump caused by AI
Why won’t my wooting 60he update
It’s says going into update mode or whatever then says failed every time
@astral haven Im not seeing the bump
It's quite recent phenomena so maybe it isn't showing yet
buttPlugGPT
Xd
Even in this AI frenzy world, the amount of money changing hands for AI related activity is peanuts compared to global commerce
How are u folks switching the keyboard and mouse from a computer to another? I have a personal computer and my professional computer and I'd like the same gadgets without the need of unplugging and plugging again!! Any advices? I've found some switches but I don't know if they can impact the performance of wooting/etc.
Multiple computers? confused noises
(You'd use a KVM switch or software to pass on the hardware inputs)
yes, a desktop and a laptop
any KVM switch recommendation?
in terms of quality
The wooting recommedantion is to not use KVM switches, am I right?
"Avoid using a KVM switch or USB Hub."
(idea of product, an official KVM from wooting)
Wdym?
It's been higher since the 30s?
The AI spending. What has been higher and since when?
Us money velocity
Higher than rest of the world? Yeah but thats not recent. They've figured it out or they like living on credit
Yeah, the ai spending isn't showing up yet, because it's happening right now.
Yeah, remains to be seen what % it amounts to vs all spending
I have a ASUS OLED XG27AQDMG and I only have 55 hours on the monitor. I got it on the 25th it’s been working smoothly but today I got on and it told me to do a pixel clean so I did but then it gave me burnt in pixels. Is that on me or the monitor and why did that happen?
We are thrilled to announce that our NEW Large Language Model will be released on 11.18.25.
Very cool model
If google really do limit side loading on Android to only verified APKs....
Then what's the point of using Android???
May as well go on iPhone at that point because Apple also have the verified side loading going on now
for enthusiasts that used that feature ig
most people never side load a thing why would anything change
There are more things than side loading that keep me on android
the only thing i liked was the custom themes
I side load a different reddit client cause the official Reddit app is ugly and confusing and full of ads
And these that aren't in play store and never will be
idk never really cared about reddit that much
have they indicated they will refuse to make the apps verified?
verified doesnt mean its on the app store
Cant have these numbers on iOS
Because apple hates giving options to people God forbid having a personal preference
whats the issue?
i see no problem on my end

no ., or numbers
