I would say that even with AirPods on an iPhone, you'd hear the difference if your settings are the default for streaming quality. I believe automatic is the default for Spotify.

I tried another modem already, it happens on my own modem and ISP provided one

this latency increase from my current ISP makes online gaming basically impossible, and if I do go to dsl I might aswell get the lowest latency, I might switch to another ISP on monday and if that still has the same issues use my 14days term to cancel if needed.

I remember I've had that other ISP before and this issue wasn't present, I could also switch to another ISP on coax... buut the street is at 87% load during evenings, so currently the issues seem routing related so it would fix it, but only until the street gets enough load

and this ISP has put people on 10Mbps down 1Mbps up just because it reached 100% in other places...

dynamically limiting people was too expensive so they didn't bother and only look at loads weekly xD
